  1. Sadly I do see this some of the time and you really can tell for group/people that will do anything to skip stuff placed in the game. Since the flashpoint that you were entering is the very first one you can enter into the game as a nOOb I suggest to take a companion and if your nice some new players into the flashpoint and just steamroll your way through. That way you get to see the movies and so to for the new comers. As a side note, I tend to only spacebar when I do see people "types" like this in the group or if I'm in a rush, however if I win the roll I do tend to want to enjoy my toon talking and taking the spotlight in the MOVIE EXPERIENCE! So in closing, if you really want to see the movie because your new to it, just do a normal mode. Hard modes is more of the game content, NOT the movie content(as that never changes unless you all of a sudden want to go from light to dark and vis-versa). An added tid-bit is to watch a youtube video of the HardMode fights so you do not express yourself as "new". A new person just starting hard modes is not very welcoming, sure we all had to do it at one time or another, but we still don't have to enjoy it.
  2. I have to agree with you, I have so many "other" badges now, that it's getting kind of confusing as to what goes to what. Now that some of these "hard earned" badges are useless, least from what your saying, all that effort is now just going to wink at me. I guess all I can say is, damage control needs to be taken for this patch and the "new" stuff more guided and not just placed there for someone to stumble on the info.
  3. Now I can't speak for level 50 stuff, but when I play with my pyro tech bounty hunter in war zones I've found myself either near the top or at the top of the damage charts. Now mind you, I tend to try and be very active in my attacks so that might play a huge factor. Then again, this is the 10-49 bracket so there are a lot of other things to factor. In a PvE type of setup I would say a duel welding force user to do some crazy amounts of damage and keep that up. Smugglers/agents I feel to be more burst/setup damage types so for them it's all about placement and timing. Not saying they aren't good, but they have an energy pool that can run out. If one did not have to worry about health issues: Long fights = tank type DPS (meaning heavy armor, not saying they MUST be a tank) Short fights = mid armor types do wonders Sorry if I confuse people
  4. Yeah, they it is rare to get any of the crafting schematics, but they do drop and heck it's so random at times that I've just chalked it up to an extra goodie instead of expecting it. On a side note, maybe it's just me, but I kind of find it annoying that to get "better" stuff in the crafting system is left all by chance... or at least a large amount of it. Just my thought.
  5. Having my trooper to level 50 and spending about 31points in the gun tree Grav rounds are what you will be using the most. Please note that is NOT the only button you will be mashing. For myself, when fighting in a PvE solo fight I open up with a Grav round, this places a debuff of (I think) 2x armor reduction, which can max to 5x stacks total or three Grav round shots. Depending on the target I normally then use full auto and then another Grav round. Once I get to five debuff stacks I fire a demo round, this SOMETIMES can hit some some nice damage. After such I might either fire another Grav round or if I get the buff, use full auto again that gets a bonus with instant cooldown. I can then fire another Grav round and then a charged shot as I was also gaining another buff to that ablity as well. Now please make note that you have to kind of high in level to preform what I was doing but for the most part you hardly ever touch charged bolt... unless you were silenced twice in a row which happens more than I would like from electrical bots. I hope what I said uplifted you a bit about the gun class tree and also gave a bit on light on what you might be doing. Also, longer fights will force you use hammer so you don't spend all that ammo and it's regen factor.
  6. I went Light Side when I came across this quest. The reason that choosing Jaxo over the 300 is kind of a simple thing when you break it down. Ask yourself, will you allow 300 people to die for someone you know or save those innocent 300 for someone that knew what their job entailed. If your angry that you had to make such a touching chose I suggest you never play Fable III because right at the start you'll be posed with such a question. In the end though, if you did get the Dark Side points and your just angry that you have taint on your toon then I'm sorry, but that just means you'll need to do an extra flashpoint or something to gain that lost points due to your choice. In my personal option, the devs and story writes did a great job with the Trooper story line. I didn't like the ending, but I'm not saying anymore to that effect as you will all have to experience that yourselves! All-in-all, enjoy the game!
