  1. I cannot state it any stronger. Myself and my guild hates and I mean hates RNG gearing. It's one of the primary reasons many of us left for a year after you made conquest such a grind. We just started coming back and really liked the direction things were heading ( conquest is easier...yeah...don't screw that up again, please ), but stop it with an RNG system for gearing. All the frustration of opening command crate after command crate just to break everything down to get more command crates. It just pisses us off. You get unassembled components, but they take so long to accrue it's pointless. RNG on lower level stuff and things like heroics I get. Yeah. But let us earn those commendations again and buy what we want. Make those commendations legacy-bound ( unlike the crystals on Ossus where you have to grind all your toons to gear up instead of just your favorites ). Or make the gear we get for the weekly like on Ossus not be RNG. Let us pick what we want when opening the crate. Got the 3rd gun for my smuggler last night...same gun....such a frustrating waste of time I don't even want to run weeklies anymore. ...and don't set the weekly cap on commendations so insanely low that you nearly hit it running 1-2 toons through a weekly ( Ossus...I'm looking at you!). If someone wants to spend the time grinding away who cares? They did the time. Let them earn the rewards. If the gearing system is RNG I will absolutely quit again and most likely won't be back this time. My guild feels the same. I did an experiment impside to see if I could entirely gear a toon from command crate RNG. Command level 180 and my warrior is still running barefoot. THIS is why we absolute hate RNG. So frustrating and not worth my time or my money.
  2. No one from our guild can travel to our guild ship at the moment or log onto a toon that is on the guild ship.
  3. What the title says. Other guildmates checked this too and they cannot travel to the guild ship or log into any toons that are on the guild ship. This just started within the past hour on Star Forge.
  4. Yeah...as for guilds working together being the goal... our guild of around 15 active members left the game entirely....so in a sense it's "Mission Accomplished". We most certainly worked together into another game. For some of us, we'd been players since launch, and most for 3 or 4 years. These conquest changes were the final straw. The roadmap today had us all saying "Meh....I'll see what they have to offer after the new year...if SWTOR is still around."
  5. Yeah...pretty much all of our guild abandoned the game over conquest changes. I've just logged in for sales while I still have an active sub. Gave conquest another shot today. Heroics are still limited to 1 per legacy per day?!? If they had removed that restriction I could probably have talked my guild into coming back. Such a stupid change....like so many of the other changes. The rewards are just not worth the time and we really, as a smaller guild, have nothing to co-operatively work towards anymore. Encryptions for the ship are too much of a grind now...and having a ship is just for cosmetic fun, no bonus. We' re just tired of it all and the lack of response from the devs. I know their hands are probably tied with budgeting and what decisions they are allowed to make, but it's just too much for us to stomach. One thing that could help since conquest is obviously not going to be any fun anymore is that they bring back a large event like DvL...only up the rewards quite a bit. Some cool mounts or an automatic tier 4 set for legacy....or some of the high-end schematics....or an Ultimate Hypercrate. For now, we've moved on to GW2 and are really enjoying it as a guild, but we really hope swtor will entice us back. We're all big Star Wars fans.
  6. That interview today just cost them 4 more members of my guild cancelling their subs.
  7. Even with these changes it's too much for our guild. We love this game and many of our guild have played since launch, but we've all in the past few days settled on another game we're moving to. Enough is enough. It's not fun anymore. Conquest has become a chore instead of a fun challenge for us. We are a small guild and would spend months buying and farming mats for crafting conquest so we had a chance of winning. Then that week we'd cycle toons multiple times a day. Now that's gone. We would also have fun on the weeks where the planet had a decent number of heroics like Nar, but this week we can only run 1 measly heroic per toon per day for a crappy 825 points. I remember one Sunday night where our guild thought it might be fun to go for the board, so we spend 5 hours running Nar heroics on alts. That was fun and challenging for us....and we almost made it, but the #10 guild had a push and squeaked them ahead of us. Not anymore. Our guild leader & founder just unsubbed. Enough is enough. I regret the timecard I bought a week ago because the enjoyment of the game is now gone for me.
  8. One of our guild solo'd all of them except for Lost Island, Manaan, and Blood Hunt...and the ones that have mechanics that require 4 members. ....but he's a beast. He healed us through Black Talon HM with 2 lvl 40 DPS and a lvl 40 companion to tank. We only wiped twice. No idea how he does it.
  9. Our guild never reacted this way with any other changes over the past few years, but we are actively discussing options to move to another game. This did it for us. We love Star Wars, and have enjoyed this game, but even with the update today it's just one bad decision by the devs too many. I know alot of it has to do with budget and manpower, but still.... Just talking with some of the players that give real, fact-based evaluations with real numbers in the forums is all you need to do before these changes....or learn to do some basic math on the time it will take. Your big CXP rewards, even for the largest planets, can be gotten in just an hour or two with the weeklies. They need to be 3 or 4 times that given the amount of effort that it takes to hit a conquest target now. Add Refined Isotopes in there as well. Even when Galactic Command came out we still looked past it and enjoyed the game...however these kinds of changes with no apparent benefit to anyone have just taken any enthusiasm we had for the game and thrown it out the window. It's been a good run, but for us it feels like the end of the road for SWTOR.
  10. Crafting was too easy? Our small guild would spend months preparing for a conquest to win a title. Do you have any idea how many hours it took farming just to do the crafting conquests on the old system? I don't want to even think about how long it will take now. I'd never seriously contemplated quitting the game in 4 years, but now most of our guild is talking about what other games we could move to. The one thing smaller guilds like us could compete with was crafting week and it's now gone with a "We'll leave it as is for now and look at it again later" statement? If you tried simply talking to players or having some kind of play testing you would avoid scenarios like this. Did any of you actually do the math to figure out how much time or materials it would take to do conquest now? It's like when GC came out. At the old rate of CXP it would have taken 200-300 hours of playtime to get to max level on just one toon. My sub is about up and I was about to add another timecard, but I'm holding off and seeing what you actually do. I don't want to waste my money on a game that I'll just end up not playing out of frustration with the devs.
  11. Our guild is small, but for the crafting conquests we would prep for months so we could win a planetary title we needed. It was a bit grindy, but we had fun with the challenge and it was fun to be able to take on the big guilds in something. The new system has made this impossible for us and has our guild members looking at other games we could move to. It has also made getting individual conquest so tedious that we ran the math and are not really bothering to try. Too much investment for too little rewards.
