  1. Well guess what guys? Tomorrow is update day! Possibly if there is one this week. But anyways they could be adding some new sub-only content or something. But I hope it's more free cartel coins because I'm saving up for something big and I don't want to spend extra money on cosmetic items.
  2. Tatooine. I thought those Czerka marker posts were annoying in KotOR but in TOR I really wish we had them. Too much sand and you can't even go Swoop Racing. And Belsavis. The whole planet seems so unorganized and there's that giant ice wall that makes you want to run up to and join the Night's Watch. Which might be fine. If the game was for Game of Thrones and not Star Wars. Plus the wall on Belsavis is in the jungle. Even if it's made of ice. It seems like everyone on the planet failed at their job too. Whole place is a mess. I rather liked Hoth and Alderaan, possibly because they reminded me of Skyrim or something.
  3. Mods are quite easy to come by, I fought a regular elite on Belsavis and got a purple mod and a comm as a drop and another purple mod from the chest behind him. The key to staying geared though, is never pick mission rewards besides comms unless the gear in the reward is somehow better than whatever you have, which is highly unlikely. And you can always pick up some Heroics on Taris or Nar Shaddaa and pick up quite A LOT. Running all those only takes an hour or so and you can pick up enough comms to get all new mods in almost everything.
  4. Togrutas seem to have human faces, for males I think it's 6 but I'm not sure about females. I think it's highly possible though; they completely overhauled Cathar. They can just add more face styles and face/head tail tattoos. And Nautolans could just be like Cyborgs, each head style only has slightly different cheek shapes. And then a few eye colors and complexions along with body sliders. It couldn't be that difficult. With Cathar they made etirely different models but with Nautolans and Togruta all they need to do is make a few tweaks.
  5. Well not to be rude or anything but you have very immature names. The game being full of violence has nothing to do with the naming conventions. "The Star Wars™: The Old Republic™ Customer Service team prides itself on maintaining a friendly game-play environment." The first name is definitely against that, specifically the "wreckyoazz" part. The second isn't really a good name, but the way it's interpreted is pretty subjective. If you're looking for a non-serious name, you could name yourself FluffyMcKittenpants if it fits. Or something like that. If you want to make a lore name you could find a fantasy name generator or something and edit some letters or something. Or you could just name yourself something like Noah (assuming you want that in your name), but use a bunch of symbols and be Ñòäh. And if that's considered religious, you could always be something like Noahro or Noatok or something like that. Suffixes go a long way. Also put apostrophes and dashes into consideration.
  6. Let's say you live alone and make about 3,500 dollars a month. That's approximately 42,000 dollars a year which was the national average personal income in the United States for 2012. The average cost of food per day is about 7 dollars a day so each month you would spend about 210 dollars on food. If you work outside of the house and drive a car to work, it costs about 400 dollars for gas each month. If you aren't shopping at super expensive stores for clothes you'll probably spend an average of 100 dollars on clothes each month. Average monthly payment for mortgage is about 1100 dollars a month. That leaves around 1700 dollars for savings and entertainment and recreation each month. Which is like half your income. Let's just say you save 25 dollars a month for SWTOR . That's around 0.7% of your monthly income. It's around 0.007% of the money you make per year. Subscription costs 15 dollars a month, leaving 10 dollars for cartel coins. That's 1550 cartel coins. If you have a Security key then you get 1650 cartel coins per month. You can buy 5 contraband packs with those coins which I would assume is enough.
  7. If you were using Kira that is your problem because Kira is useless for Sentinels. Even the ship droid is better than Kira. Kira eats Bantha poop for breakfast, lunch, and dinner and was a full time nerf-herder before she met you. At least if you are a Sentinel. Pure DPS on Pure DPS is like putting wasabi in Sriracha. It gets stronger but is useless because they don't go together at all. T7 is good until you get Doc, who is the only companion you'll ever need really. If you are doing all this already then I have no idea what you are doing wrong.
  8. If your friend is using Google Chrome, that may be his problem. SWTOR and Google Chrome have a notorious history of bugs. When I first subscribed Chrome always redirected me to the homepage after I put in my credit card info and it was not until I tried Internet explorer that I was finally able to get it to work. You can always call in for customer support as well, It's not a very long wait and I found the representatives there quite helpful on several occasions. They can probably even open up your friend's account and add an email address for him if you call in.
  9. What level are you? I was level 27 when I fought him with orange gear with commendation mods and I beat him very easily with my guardian tank. I am assuming you are a sentinel, and since Kira is required in that fight, DPS on DPS does not make for a very happy ending. Assuming your T7 is well geared I would suggest dying and summoning T7 if you don't have to replay the cutscene every time you lose to him. I believe Force Stasis works on him which you get at level 25 I think. If none of these work, join the WZ or GF queue and level up a few times. Also if you see circles on the ground you'd be best to run away from them.
  10. If you put your graphics settings on very high and your refresh rate at 60 It looks almost as good. You can also use the Appearance Designer on the fleet or your capital world to look at yourself as well as the item preview window.
  11. I'm pretty sure it would require new animations because I'm almost positive that it would look hilarious with the current running animation.
  12. You actually make friends in games? Maybe it's because I don't RP. Like ever. But the only friends I ever need are my guildies, and it's redundant to add them to your friends list if you already have a whole chat window dedicated to them. If these people cared enough about illeged friendship they wouldn't have changed servers unless they have a character on that other server with major credits or they are scared of the PVP server or something or other.
  13. I disagree on so many levels. I play as a Jedi Guardian tank and a Powertech tank, and both of them are very easy for me. Sure it may take a bit more time to kill things, but it's a lot easier to stay alive.I haven't played the powertech too much but my Guardian barely ever dies. In Flashpoints I can go right ahead and pop out Saber Ward and Warding Call and solo two elite bosses without so much as a medpac. Well I use Enure, but that's a class skill. I can solo non-WB champions the same level as me as well. So what people fail to realize is even if they aren't fast killers tanks are pretty effective. I also have an Operative healer and all I have to do is sit behind a rock and heal Kaliyo. Good for a casual playstyle and I've only ever died in PvP. So on the main topic, I see an obscene amount of Jedi Sentinels running around everywhere and surprisingly a lot of Vanguards. I've only ever seen smugglers on the fleet or on Ord Mantell, maybe a couple on Coruscant. Imp side I see a ton of snipers. Like snipers everywhere. And in lowbie PvP it seems everyone is a stealth Assassin. Not sure about high levels. I think the Imps are all a lot more diverse because I've seen quite a few of each different class, but on the Pub side my screen is almost always occupied by flaming blue people with yellow lightsabers.
  14. Go to your pureblood and open the Cartel market. Click the Eradicator's Mask icon and click "Show Items" Ctrl+left click the icon in the bottom right box. The answer is probably yes though because I'm pretty sure even Twi'leks can wear it with invisible Lekku.
  15. Well, I recently rolled a new character (a Jedi Sage) and was doing a run of the Esseles. The guy I was playing with was a F2Player. He was level 18, but apparently it was his first time doing a Flashpoint and he didn't understand the rules of Need/Greed. We found an Esseles Consular Robe, the main thing I was after in that flashpoint, but he ended up picking need with me. I asked him about it and he said he didn't mean to and he would give it to me, but then a window popped up saying I could not trade with free players. Normally I would be fine with this sort of thing, but it has happened to me several times before and it is starting to bother me. The free to players are willing to give the stuff that fits your class, but they can't mail or trade or anything with it so they just end up with a piece of gear unsuitable for their class and whoever needed the gear but didn't get it is left feeling sad because they missed a good piece of gear. If there really needs to be a trade restriction on them, just don't let them trade credits or something.
