  1. Of course they can't set it up differently on different timezones, since the accounts and other general stuff are server-wide. That means they need to set the same time for all servers and being American, will use American time.
  2. That's another great idea! How do we convince those who decide stuff?
  3. In the game, I didn't notice any clipping, nor in the video posted above, so I think it would be fine.
  4. Well... I was unclear: I have 14 characters started, but so far I've only managed to get one to lvl 60. Most are stuck around lvl 40 and lvl 25. The reason being that it's sooo much mindless killing between story missions.
  5. When you level up your first character, it's awesome! When you level up the next character, you enjoy the new story that you haven't played. When you get to your fourth or fifth character, you are bored out of your mind with levelling, even if you still enjoy the story (which is awesome for all classes, truly). A suggestion, to decrease the mind-numbing grind of killing several thousand non-significant opponents while levelling up your 11th character, is to use Legacy level for XP bonus. That way, your next character levels up a little quicker than the previous. You can still enjoy the magnificent story, but you level up a bit quicker and can skip a few of the extra planet missions. This will probably also increase demands for extra character slots, which might bring some in extra money to the business. I've bought a couple of slots myself, just to experience the storyline for each class from male/female perspective. Anyway, my suggestion is to add a general XP bonus based on Legacy level. The formula could be something very simple, like XP multiplier equals Legacy/10 or something, perhaps decreasing slightly per level in the same way as the XP requirements increase per level. I'm sure some of the theorycrafters here on the forums can supply a nice formula. Still, I think you get my drift. I'm currently levelling my 14th character and I'm sooo bored. It detracts from the game experience so much that I no longer feel the joy and anticipation of logging on.
  6. If you add Shae Vizla's hair style to the cartel market, I will buy it. Promise!
  7. "Complained"? Awww... I wasn't complaining? Was I? That was a very good tip! Thank you!
  8. If you open "collections", you can see every item in game. Or, at least, that was what I thought.... If I go to customizations, I can't see all customizations available. Why is that? Does anyone know? Of course, I can always check on Dulfy or Torfashion or elswhere, but this bugs me a bit.
  9. Hey guys! That's very clarifying and exactly what I needed. Thank you!
  10. I've been trying to find fresh and relevant information about how to find purple mats, but failed, hence this post. I would like to know how the chances of finding a purple mat on a crew mission varies with "Abundant/Bountiful/Rich/Prosperous/Wealthy". I know that you get more green stuff the higher the level of the mission, but is there actually any chance of finding purple mats on an "abundant" mission or does it have to be "rich"? Also I'd like to know if/how the chances vary with companion affection. I did find two year old information about how the crit chance of a companion adds a matching percentage of critical success. Also that the base chance of critting is 10%. Anyway, any help from you experts out there, would be extremely welcome.
  11. I remember when I levelled my Sith Warrior. At lvl 23 it was like running full tilt into a wall.... Then at 39-41 somewhere it started getting easier again. Although, that might have been me. I suck at game mechanics and generally just run along, clicking aimlessly...
  12. Strange. One might whine over the difficulty, but the only thing that's worse than struggling with too hard quests, is coasting through them too easily.
  13. I spent another hour as Hatred. Boy, that's way overpowered. I'm also levelling a few other toons and none other feels as overpowered as the Hatred Assassin. Still, one shouldn't complain... I'm sticking to Deception, it feels more right.
  14. Heh. Good points all. I'll try deception. Thank you for the help!
  15. Well... That makes a lot of sense actually. I might try all three. It's a long way to lvl 60....
  16. So, mostly votes for concealment as in "knife fighter". Hmm... Makes sense. About healer: That would fit too, but it feels terribly inefficient, since the companions are more or less useless in comparison. I'd rather have a healer companion that can heal between (and during) fights than nerfing my own fighting capabilities. That way, levelling takes forever since it takes much longer to run through mods. Or, am I wrong?
  17. Oh, good point. Sorry about that. Well, here are some fun facts: Sith, so no problem with dark side stuff. Zak is a slender guy and prefers fighting with finesse instead of brute force. His father is very brutal and strong (Sith warrior) as well as very conservative and so does not approve of Zak's boyfriend. Being a bit quiet and shy (father-issues...) Zak prepares to sneak in the shadows and strike from behind. Finesse and quiet are keywords.
  18. First, some background: I suck at game mechanics. I have no interest in PvP. I only play PVE. Now, the questions: I have a sniper (Marksmanship) and now I've started playing an operative. Soon I need to pick my advanced discipline thingy, so my question is simply: How do I easiest avoid being bored by either too slow levelling or by being too similar to my sniper? I have another race/sex, so that's been done. But how do I pick discipline so as not to get just another sniper? Any suggestions are welcome! Also, I don't think I want another healer, since I already have two healer toons.
  19. Hi! First, some background: I suck at game mechanics. I have no interest in PvP. I only play PVE. Now, the questions: I started as a Hatred assassin, but it felt way overpowered, one-shot killing almost all mobs with Death Field and mopping up easily with Lacerate. Also, Death Field feels too much like an old evil wizard, which doesn't fit my background story, nor the character. So, I was thinking of switching to deception. Or maybe tanking, but what use is tanking if I'm travelling the worlds with my tame tank-monster? I'm confused... Currently at lvl 19, on my way to Balmorra. Thoughts?
