  1. Last night was running 8m SV SM (my first time there) as a healer. We got to the 2nd boss, and half way through the fight the other healer (an op) d/c's. I scrambled around to cover the remaining group plus myself, casting everything I had available to me to keep them up. Eventually we wiped, it was just too much. I'm curious to know if I would have stood any chance on this fight as a solo healer? My gear is a mishmash of 66/69/72 at present as I'm trying to gear up, I'm spec'd into the aoe jet boost heal (which in this case paid off) Is this just the mechanics of this fight + the limitations of the spec of this class? Is there anything I could have that might have changed the outcome?
  2. Why not remove the limitation and make it so that you can buy the lvl 55 Partisan gear when you have the total number of comms on hand, but just not be able to use it. That way your not left with having to change comms around all over the place.
  3. I have a question on this. - If Chaos Nexus is a must for that hybrid build - and the skill is meant to give a benefit while Polarity Shift is active - why then don't any of the rotations you listed have Polarity Shift in them? I'm not arguing the build, or the benefit of the skill, just I'm one of those new users who use the rotations people provide to better learn the class and how to work the skills in the most beneficial manner. Which leads me to my next question - where would be the best place to trigger Polarity Shift in this rotation? - As hybrid, you'll generally want to open by casting a few Afflictions to proc Lightning Barrage, as Force Lightning is a staple ability for this spec. Then, start by casting Lightning Strike until you get the Chain Lightning proc, but don't use it right away! Instead, start using Force Lightning as your filler, and when you proc Wrath, cast Crushing Darkness on targets above 50% health (rule of thumb, should of course be adapted to the situation depending on amount of heals your target is receiving, etc). Do this for 10s, and make sure you save a Wrath proc for the burst sequence: (Recklessness) > Chain Lightning (w/ Lightning Storm) > Lightning Strike (w/ Wrath) > Chain Lightning (w/ Lightning Storm) > Death Field -
  4. From what I've read PvE is better with the bolster system least when starting. There are several threads out there right now that will add. Personally I'm getting the PvP gear, because it gives me something to work for, whether its better or not, I'm not a good enough player to really make a difference. I have good days where things fall into place, but usually I'm just an average player.
  5. Though not as high in DPS a Jugg does have a pretty good dps tree for the class, and you can respec to Tank if you wanted too without having to roll a new toon. But the others are right, best at the moment are Op for heals and Sent for DPS There's quite a lot of reliable guides to get the right build for pvp here. Just look around,
  6. You're going to get a lot of "what do you want this or this" type answers here. It will boil down to what play style do you want from the character?
  7. I have a question - why did you take Sith Defiance over Reserves?
