  1. You would think Hatred would recieve the same amount of love as Madness. at this point fighting a madness sorc on Hatred is almost suicide if both cloaks aren't up. Its ridiculous the amount of back from the dead abilities, DR and self heals Madness can perform while hatred is the complete opposite though the exact same concept. Devs really need to look into how they can passively bring Hatred up to par with its sister spec. Death Brand is a good idea as well.
  2. Absolutely. I think Leeching strike being unmissable and have higher damage will literally fix the class on top of some passive DR from crit damage, sort of Madness' Corrupted defense.
  3. Hatred clearly is lacking in the Defensives utility department when it comes to PVP. It is one of the squishiest classes there is, but it doesn't have to be, it can be made to emulate its sister spec like Madness. I think Leeching Strike can be buffed in a way that makes the class that much more on par with the others in terms of survivability with its ability Leeching strike. I firmly believe this cane be done by a few things: 1.) Leeching Strike has its root added back into it, where it can root an enemy. 2.) Leeching strike's critical hit damage can be increased by 15% whenever recklessness is active and can use a charge of recklessness. I think this is needed because so far its an ability that is only buffed by the dots and when it does hit is pitiful when compared to Force Leech. Its self healing is not up to scratch, or damage high enough in comparison to other specs dishing out and taking damage. 3.) Using Leeching strike should feel rewarding, at times it feels like the ability though a unique one to hatred/serenity is there, is not at all effective as much in your rotation, I think if it gave either Damage reduction for a certain amount of time sort of like unnatural preservation in the Sorcerer Tree, then it would feel much more justified, that and a damage boost to this ability would really turn the class into something that is up to scratch in comparison with Deception, which has a lot of Damage Reduction compared to Hatred. What I don't think makes sense: The fact that Deception can self-heal per critical force strike for 1% of base HP with is up to 4k, while Hatred struggles to live on its self-heals at all. They feel pitiful and not even there, Overload Saber is not worth using at all, its just not when Hungering Force or Maliciousness are there. Hungering Force is a slight buff, but it might've been alright in the last patch, its still too weak in terms of self-healing to consider it a buff to Hatred's survivability in PVP. I believe increasing Leeching Strike's Critical Hit Damage under Recklessness, and making it an autocrit from Recklessness while giving you some DR temporarily will revive this spec's survivability in PVP. Edit: I also wanted to add, that with these buffs I also thought ahead with balance. I don't think leeching strike if all these changes go through should be reset under Maliciousness as well.
  4. Removing ranked is not a good start at all, removing any end game content should be universally bashed by the entire player base. To go against one sector of players and to label the all toxic is exactly how people in real life use labels to divide us while those in power seek to destroy us by division.

With all respect that is due, and as a long time player I started when I was 13 back in 2012 and still enjoying this game, despite the ability pruning and lack of attention to my favorite game mode. Jackie, this was possibly the worst decision ever made, to remove the competitive aspect of PVP in this game. This was going to be the first season I competed in, and now you've lost a long time subscriber, player and someone that recommended this game to his co-workers who liked Star Wars. I am utterly disappointed by the lack of care or empathy from the Developers for the Ranked Community. The ranked community from my experience as a brand new player to the scene has been nothing but whole-hearted kindness, giving me tips and advice and watching me progress to new levels. You removing all those accomplishments has greatly diminished my resolve to play this game, stopped me from recommending it to others who love Star Wars and definently have lost my Subscription. I firmly believe in the mantra "We Pay We Say" therefore I will be cancelling my subscription once 7.2 drops, which I hope to god you reconsider everything you and the team have said to do. I dislike the removal of ranked, the rest of the updates were fine, removing endgame content gives no incentives for anybody that has reached a certain skill level to continue progressing. You are not catering to your loyal fanbase, you are killing it and have done so for some time now. I will continue to fight for Ranked PvP to remain and for Season 15 to be a thing, because that was going to be the Season I competed in. I am shocked, disgusted and disappointed. As a Servicemember overseas, playing this game honestly makes me happy, although now I'm not so sure anymore, the removal of my favorite end game content seems to be the death of the game for me. Please reconsider, keep all the changes but add Season 15 and continue Ranked PvP.
  6. Hot take, Devs are lazy and hoping turning pvp into Galactic Seasons will work because they cba to actually do revamps or care about pvp. Practicing for my first season, excitement now I’m going to get flamed by Story Mode PVErs pulling 5k dps in TFB. Bye

Thank you for listening I understand that the PVE community had their gripes elsewhere, as for me I would like to propose another Idea for Hatred in relation to how it performs in PVP. I think there could be some more passive DR built in there, perhaps an extra 5% and adding Corrupted Defense to a passive ability. I also think Force Shroud on hatred should be longer, not as long as Operatives having Evasion, but it should be longer to help it survive against Burst damage in Ranked where the current meta are burst classes. The point I'm making is I would very much like to see Hatred given utilities and Damage Reduction that reward the slow and steady progress that a DoT spec would enjoy. The lifesteal increase is amazing, along with crit and critical chance, you guys have effectively made Hungering Force compete with Maliciousness and for that I applaud you all. I think its a step in the right direction, Hatred will still be squishy and those changes I think could be added for the class, if Deception is getting DR on Severing Slash a subspec that is already tankier than Hatred; Hatred could be justified in getting a longer, quicker force shroud.
  8. They just keep nerfing Hatred into the ground. If there is a DPS nerf, it would be incredibly reasonable of them to Add survivability to the class in PVP it lacks the burst and control Deception does. If they added a longer shroud for only Hatred or increase in lifesteal to one of the death field choices like a mini death brand or added Corrupted Defense that Madness sorcs have to Hungering Force that would seal the deal, that would help the class so much in the Ranked scene. Honest to god they need to stop destroying this class. They need to make it more viable.
  9. I can't help but notice all the speculation on this thread and a vast majority of it being PVE speculation on Hatred. I do strongly believe the nerfs to saber strike not ticking TTT is an improvement, it adds back an element of skill to DPSing, however I hope the Devs work to incorporate all classes to be viable in end game content PVP Please. Hatred seriously needs a buff to its defensives, a version of Critical Defense must be added to Hatred and an increase in the self heals passively. Please give Hatred some use instead of a squishy glass cannon in Ranked that gets globaled if caught in stuns

Chris, I'm excited to see the changes with Hatred, it really feels justified with the TTT tactical, and I love to see Hungering force getting a slight buff, however I would implore you to add to it a Damage reduction as in PVP Hatred is completely at a disadvantage compared to Deception when it comes to absorbing damage. It is a complete glass cannon that could do with a Critical Defense as Madness has, and tack it onto Hungering Force. I also implore you to reconsider Severing Slash, nobody and I mean nobody uses this utility in pvp in the slightest, I've never seen someone use it as anything other than a new player trying everything out. Please add a greater increase to lifesteal, it is a laughing matter when Deception can self heal better than Hatred, please add a greater lifesteal to Hatred. Points made: Buff Hungering Force to include a version of Critical Defense to share some defensives a Madness Sorc has to make it more viable in PVP Increase Lifesteal for hatred by at least 50% everytime eradicate is up instead of severing slash. As it would be pointless to pick that when shroud is in the same bracket
  11. I suggest a 15% DR for Hatred every crit your DoTs do, 5% Stacking 3 times, like Madness, also adding Death Brand instead of the armor pen death field. The 15% DR should be added to Hungering Force choice, it is balanced as you would be choosing 5% Crit boost/ 15% DR vs Maliciousness 20% Damage boost. Give Hatred some love, make it more viable in PVP

  14. In all honesty, adaptive gear is your best bet for any type of gear in the game, any orange items you see, you hold onto if they're for your specific class. Remember to visit modification vendors on the "Supplies" Section of the fleet every now and then to upgrade your armor, or you might end up getting wiped on Heroics . Upgrading from 1-60 is acquirable using the modification vendors on the fleet. From 60-65 really you either go the path of PVP gear and work your way up from 204 items to 208, or grind long and hard for 208 PVE gear by doing flashpoints here and there in groups, Tacs and HMs. Orange gear is your buddy right now
  15. Depends which world you were on, and if he or she was completely covered in good gear, it really depends on the world, otherwise it is a bug, which world? Hmm, Tython? I think that might be a bug, no way someone could garner 25k health on that planet being such a low level planet, maybe they were in a special instance or place on Tython, other than that I don't think that was normal and might've been a bug.
