  1. If you were to take SWG and add in SWTOR Story Telling and fix all the problems with that game, you would have an epic game.
  2. Most of the time, when a free to play model is add to a subscription game, the mirco transactions will be more social type gear rather than top tier raid or pvp gear. So its likely to be more modifiable type gear.
  3. Usually if you did all the side quests at the level your suppose to do them at, you should be slightly over level, not under. You probably missed some parts of the Taris Quest (if Republic) or Balmorra (if Imperial). Also recommend doing some flashpoints and 1-49 PVP to make up the difference.
  4. The hoarding of the Grade 6 resources is only a temporary thing, because the demand for the MK-6 agument kits will come down in probably a month or so. Everyone is buying them up right now to agument there clothing. So demand is out weighing supply right now.
  5. Almost every major guild moved to Canderous Ordo on the second day of transfers. I was surprised how fast the guilds transfered over. I figured about 95% of Kaas City's active player base has alreadied transfered.
  6. I dinfinately gave them my two cents worth on there comments.
  7. 1. What is your favorite aspect of SWTOR that keep you playing everyday? The Story makes the game far less grindy. And for RPers, It can be a backround to the creation of new stories. 2. What do you personally feel makes this game better than other MMO's? The Story is more prenounced than in most other MMO's, it has more direction. 3. What are you looking forward to the most, or what do you hope will someday make it to the game? (characters, content, features) More guild improventments, return of open world pvp on PVE and RP servers (PVP lakes), and more story.
  8. 2 things here. 1. First in the way of the guild bank, we were able to contact CRS and have them transfer our guild bank without disbanding the original guild (although it took a two or three tickets and a little explaination). 2. Name Changes were only done if the name was already token by another player's toon on that server (only exception is the Legcay Name).
  9. Hey Joveth, You last link is broken because you miss spelled swtor.
  10. Your observation is mostly correct, but not because they are not gear for PVP. But Imperial players are gearing up faster then the Republic. And have been since day one. On average the Imperials are gearing up about 10 times faster then the Republic side. Also there is about 3 Imperials to every 1 Republic player on average on Kaas City. Many Republic PVP on Kaas City have stopped PVPing due to the faction and gear inbalance on the server. So it comes down that the Republic has a major disadvanage in both gear and in numbers. Since I'm a day one vet of Kaas City I have been keeping track.
  11. I can tell you guys, that this nerf will only play a small role in the Shadow viability, mostly because the self healing by shadows is small enough in general that at most we were healing less than 2% of health per second at level 50. So basicly, it dropped our healing from 2% per second down to 1% per second on average. A Shadow can make up for that easily in PVE with a med pack, stim pack, or a defensive buff.
  12. Lagacy is not a waste of time, in MMO's cosmetic things can bring new players in and keep the old ones from leaving. SWG is a great example of it, where the cosmetic items kept players in that game 5+ years longer than it should have.
  13. Nadia is a pure DPS campanion, basicly equal to a DPS Shadow. Stats wise, Primary stats is Willpower for Offence and Endurance for Defence. Secondary its recommanded to have Critical Rating and Surge Rating. I know these stats work well, because I play a Shadow and my main companion is Nadia. In the way of combat, its best for you to attack first so she will attack your target. Everything should be turn on and she destory all your targets fairly quickly. She sometimes can take down an elite mob faster than my Shadow Tank Hybrid can.
  14. There are a few servers fairing better, but the main problem right now is that everyone is spread out across 200+ servers and there is roughly 100 servers worth of players right now. Here a few servers with larger populations right now. East Coast Servers: The Fatman (PVP) Jedi Covenant (PVE) Canderous Ordo (PVE) The Ebon Hawk (RP) Lord Adraas (RP) Jung Ma (RP/PVP) The Shadowlands (PVE) Sanctum of the Exalted (RP) Mind Trick (PVE) Krayt Dragon (PVE) Shadow Hand (PVE) Kaas City (PVE) Juyo (PVE) Sith Wyrm (PVE) Rubat Crystal (RP) Corellian Run (PVE) Keller's Void (PVE) West Coast Drooga's Pleasure Barge (PVE) The Harbinger (PVE) The Swiftsure (PVP) Ajunta Pall (RP/PVP) Begeren Colony (RP) Lord Ieldis (RP) Vrook Lamar (RP) Zakkeg Beast (PVE) Veeboo Lunx (PVE) Darth Sion (PVE) Empress Teta (PVE) European Tomb of Freedon Nadd (PVP) The Red Eclipse (PVE) Dune Bantha (PVE) Bacca's Blade (PVE) The Progenitor (RP) Nightmare Lands (PVE) Shaltin Tunnels (RP) Trask Ulgo (RP) Frostclaw (PVE) Asian-Pacific Dalborra (PVE) Gav Daragon (RP) Master Dar'Nala (PVP)
  15. I have to agree with the devs on this one. I and many other players do not want cross server LFG. First it can disrupt the Communities on the servers. Second there is less accountability in a cross server format (At least is a single server format, then players are accountable to there guilds and there community). Plus there could be many other issues that can come up with anything cross server.
  16. Don't usually have any problems with any specific class. Bounty Hunters (Tanking Spec), Operative (Backstab Ability), and Sith Scourcer (AOE Lightning Abilities, stuns) tend to be the worst ones to face.
  17. Based on this post, this guys probably has not done much crafting ingame yet. The actural crit craft ratio is something like 1:5 with a toon with 10k affection, without 10K affection its more like 1:10. Out of about 20 items I crafted in a row, 5 were crits with aguments on a level 30 modable item, now a level 50 item its probably a higher ratio.
  18. Playing a Shadow in PVP. Kenetic Defence = about equal amounts of both. Infiltration = more Willpower Balance = more Willpower Shadows in PVP are Crowd Control type players, so you don't want endurance to be largely greater than your Willpower. It best to have both stats roughly the same or Willpower is greater due to the utility nature of the Shadow specs. The only time you want a Shadow to have largely more endurance is when you are play it as a main tank in PVE (especial in hard mode flashpoints).
  19. Personally I think most of you guys are reading too much into the announced layoffs as a bad sign. But probably most layoffs were temporary employees that were hired to help with the launch of the game. Extra customer service, forum moderators, and other support staff. Most of the main developers and community people were probably untouched by the layoffs.
  20. Also you can buy schematics on the GTN and you can also get schematics from loot and doing missions from Underworld Trading. I can safely say there are well over 1,000 schematics.
  21. Its best to have some critical rating and surge because of dimishing returns. Critical Rating effects the chance to crit. Surge Rating effects how hard you can crit. Critical Modifier hits soft cap at 75%, While Critical Chance soft cap is about 30%. Soft cap is where dimishing returns starts to take place.
  22. 1. Add a premission for guild bank ledger so that it will be viewable by other members of the guild. 2. Add columns so you can see a total of a month worth data (instead of two weeks) and a "totals" column. 3. Add the guild bank ledger and log to the guild management menu.
  23. It comes down to this guys, there will always be people who won't work with the team no matter how hard you try. But with the new daily, the non-dominate group at least has a chance to gear up. While without the new daily many players were frustation of lossing matches all day long without any reward for partipation was cause people to not play in warzones at all. Take Kaas City for example, when we had the Ilum dailies tied into the warzone dailies, the Republic acturally started to regain hope that pvp balance could be achieve, so more people played in the warzones and the Win/Loss ratio shifted from the Imperials winning 90% of the warzones to the Imperials winning about 60% of the warzones until 1.2 came out and the ratio shifted back in favor of the Imperials. The goal of adding the daily is to incentives players to play more warzones rather than boycotting warzones. Thus warzone queue times will come down and the gear and win/loss ratios will balance back out in the long term.
  24. I would not install a second anti-virus on to your computer, it will cause some program conflicting issues. If your getting low frame rate, turn shadows and Anti-aliasing to low or off. Those two settings tend to affect frame rates.
  25. There are more fixes on the way for these crashing issues, the only things you can do to try to correct it yourself is to make sure your video card drivers are up to date, make sure everything is up to spec for the game, and to do regular maintance on your computer (virus scans, disk defragments, and error checking program for corrupted files).
