  1. Absolutely everything about this expansion is AMAZING! I can't thank you enough- great EVERYTHING!!! WOW WOW WOW! That's all. Good story telling!
  2. Just sayin', I don't know where to post all the positive stuff about this game to ensure the right people are thanked and recognized; so I'll do it here. Mek-Sha is frickin' AMAZING!!
  3. Don't know where else to say this. I LOVE SWTOR. The new Manaan stuff; the Manaan Music, the ruins of Nul.... ALL of it. Great story, great stuff. I'm not a big operations, flashpoint, social play at all. I come for the story and for the amazing art-work and experience. Without exception you guys always nail it! Just want to thank you- or whoever it is that needs thanking. Well done!!!:):)
  4. Galactic History Videos on the main website don't load.
  5. I don't get to play very regularly, and need to know what specifically I've done? Is there any way to find out all the quests/missions I've completed? This would truly help many gain even greater satisfaction from the game. Hope you can consider this - OR tell me how to find it if it already exists.
  6. me too. Stops being fun really quick. SWTOR usually does a good job of catering to the spectrum of expertise and interests. but not this time. I work 10-12 hours shifts- don't have more than a couple hours a week, if that to devote to SWTOR- but I've been a faithful subscriber for years. And these arrogant 'get guud' technocrats want to belittle me for not being a maladjusted "GAMER" and wishing SWTOR would honor their full spectrum of loyal customers in this regard.
  7. I am in strong agreement with this. There are games, and there are GAMES; there are gamers and there are GAMERS. I admire that for most of the time SWTOR does a respectable job of catering to both- my sons who are amazing; know their classes; have a 'play style' and really know their stuff. I'm 57. Been playing SWTOR from the very beginning- but as a Dad would- an hour here and there; enjoying the story, the visuals, the music, and even a sense of accomplishment. The creativity and elegance of this experience is amazing to me. But Spirit of Vengance does not present a fun or enjoyable return on my investment. There are non-solo; medium and expert modes for Gamers with a capital "G." For the 'mentally and physically challenged' like me - as a poster had the gall to express, there is solo-story mode. I read the 'hints' and suggestions, and can't even decipher the language - I wouldn't know a "tank" or a "dps" if it bit me in the face. I don't know what an 'add' is either. And I have zero intention of investing the time to learn those things; because fortunately in EVERY OTHER aspect of the game, a regular dad who doesn't follow that kind of detail can get by just fine. If there weren't something still very specifically imbalanced and discouraging about Spirit of Vengance, I believe threads on the same subject wouldn't be around for the last five years or so. So, I apologize to all the 'real' gamers out there for demanding that Spirit of Vengance be calibrated to the same level every other solo-story experience is in the game. But in return, many of the arrogant full-timers on here, owe me and my kind an apology for being *****holes. (They are exactly why I don't do Group or Guild ANYTHING anymore.) Toxic insanity. Sorry for rambling- I have six kids and five moved out- so I've become a philosophical cranky old man. Cheers to all- and my each enjoy the game in their own element - I appreciate all of you who love the beauty and excellence of SWTOR with me! MDW
  8. It may sound pedantic, but here is the logic I used to make sense of it. For me, Premium only means that a service was provided for a fee (and the fee is called a Premium.) So, if one used game cards, or however to pay for access, he or she could be described as a Premium player. Those who used direct-pay to cover a period of time; and often automatically renewed, for example, could most accurately be described as "premium subscribers." It's funny because contextually, "Premium" often denotes "better than...." However, that is only one of its meanings. In this context it could more likely be used in exactly the same way we use "insurance premium." I can relate to the change in nomenclature. And it's smart. It provides the company an opportunity to up-sale benefits in the future (which I would pay for,) and it more precisely defines the product as something of value. I am concerned about the number of people who don't want to pay for this. If everyone developed the entitlement mentality regarding F2P, the SWTOR division would ultimately die. I want the Old Republic to live on forever, so I'm only too willing to budget for it with my family. We are not so rich that we don't mind spending money. We even give up movies and dinners out and some other things just to keep this up. We love it that much. SWTOR has actually brought my kids and I together in a very cool way. Hard to explain. Sorry about waxing rhapsodic. I don't even mind if my subscription helps sustain the effort to bring in and convert F2P players to subscribers. So, maybe part of my low premium goes to helping those who can't pay for a season. That's cool. Hence, the insurance metaphor. Long Live the Old Republic! Matt
  9. Exactly, my southern friend. I know a piano may not feel 'Star Warsy' but I bet there is some design that could work.
  10. I'll pay cartel bucks for a Piano. I want a music-room in my Strong-hold; with a Juke Box and so forth and musical instruments. I hope I can sit at the piano bench to play for a while and 'heal'. A baby grand is fine - in whatever Star Wars style you think makes sense. (Not just the old Cantina Ep IV one though.) Should be much more elegant.:)
