I thought the penalty was kind of light. Snowballs in SWTOR are just absolutely ridiculous. If you threw one at a Sith Warrior you would be dead immediately. A Bounty Hunter would shoot you in the face. However I am sure that Cathar would just bound up to you and lick your face, hence the automatic race change to make this suitable.

What we need is a setting for those that don't like the snowballs (I truly hate them, they have no place in the game), where upon getting hit your character stabs the snowball thrower in the leg slowing them for 15 minutes (not removeable). The snowball thrower would also suffer the loss of one random companion for a year, all black and white dyes on their account would be changed to light brown/orange, all Sith Pureblood, cyborg, rattataki, and chiss characters are immediately converted to sad fuzzy Cathars, and one of their characters gets randomly deleted from their account and given to the person hit by the snowball.

I just tried to log in on a different account to change my email address as the existing email has been cancelled. Guess what happened next.... ....SWTOR did not recognise the computer I was logging in from, and a one time password has been emailed to me. Oh well, there goes fifteen toons plus Cartel Coins down the crapper hahaha!

As mentioned in a previous post I think the most obvious difference in treatment is on the starter worlds. I play on the RP servers, and let me tell you, the RP guild interviews range from about 2-5 minutes for male characters, and can drag on for upwards of half an hour for female characters. (This with no change to the tone or nature of the responses!!!) With no end in sight I usually have to plead AFK excuses to exit these interviews without upsetting the person who has just spent 30 minutes attempting to appear noble, witty, charming or powerful.

...people currently running the lower flashpoints (Hammer, Athiss, etc). If your assigned tank from group finder is a Jedi Guardian, check his gear. If he doesn't have his Shield Focus (or any focus...seriously!!!) equipped, then there is a tool who keeps rolling as a tank and pretending to be a noob! He also uses his false noobishness to need roll everything in sight! Multiple offences on both counts! My advice, drop the group, ignore the dude, resume life knowing that one small troll got a little bit hungrier.

I had a bit of a smile when I saw a guy yelling out in General "I am the great and evil Plasticbags". Probably poor form on a RP server but it cracked me up.

Yes BW/EA have done the wrong thing charging subscribers CC for new race. (Note subscribers did not have to pay for any other race. Racial unlocks, yes, but not to be able to roll the race for specific classes). Yes, changing their agreement with their subscribers after the fact sucks. I hope we don't lose players over the fact that fuzzies aren't free, it would be a real shame to quit the game over the fact the BW/EA have done the wrong thing again. The game itself is great. Mostly.

First time in the game, didn't even know that I had the ball. No instructions, just you suck, to which I responded badly I will admit, then booted.

So tonight I tried to play my first ever Huttball match. Playing on a sorceror, and apparently I kept getting passed the ball. I was just focussing on healing people because I had been told that was what I was supposed to do. Told the group before the match started that this was my first time at this PVP set up. Booted mid match for sucking at ball carrying? If this is normal for PVP'ers with newish players then no wonder no-one paysmuch attention to them. When I asked why I was kicked after the match, the answer was "you suck". Fair enough I suppose! First try, thought I was healing OK? I wonder why more people don't PVP after the first day!

When I heard that they had made it more even I PVP'd last night for the first time in well over 6 months, and it was actually fun. While I didn't do brilliantly at least I wasn't constantly two or three shotted by guys who PVP constantly. The OP and other PVPers complaining should take a pause for a moment. A hell of a lot more people will PVP (or try PVP) because of these changes and they just might enjoy it for a change, which in time may make them PVPers too, which will drive the call for more PVP zones, matches, improvements etc. Wait and see. I am going to keep PVP'ing for now because it is actually enjoyable for a change.
