  1. Thank you for fixing this in a timely manner Bio Ware. The rest of the sane, positive, decent and even-tempered players are appreciative that you listened and responded so quickly. I know you rarely hear from your satisfied customers but we appreciate everything you do. We know you don't have an infinite staff or time bending powers to service our every need. We know that this is still a business for you and can not only accept but graciously invest in the entertaining things you produce in the Cartel Market. We love the game and want to see it prosper. We understand that the way you prioritize isn't driven by what changes or fixes we want immediately and that sometimes what does get fixed is driven by someone else's agenda higher up in the business hierarchy. So kudos to you guys. Keep up the good work because I personally intend on playing this game till the lights go out.
  2. No way, just imagine the fun you could have on a Roomba that's angry at you for squishing it.
  3. When the Stronghold Expansion was first released flashpoints had specific decorations attached to them. More importantly, the level 50 and 55 hard mode flashpoints all guaranteed decoration drops from their bonus bosses. The new level 60 HM FP's do not. The Legacy of the Rakata flashpoint doesn't even have a decoration drop created for it. Now I understand that recovered relics/manaan relics were added to the rewards system and there is deco related to those FP's. I also understand that prior to releasing HM versions of those FP's the RNG was fitting. However, 192 gear that drops from FP's are so far out of stat budget that they're practically equal/inferior to the 180 token HM gear that drops from DF/DP. There is practically no incentive to obtain that gear (unless you actually put some min/max mods or enhancements in them). There is even less incentive to get the elite comms, see above reason. Also, with exception to the craftable mods, the 186 craftable gear is above and beyond better than anything we're receiving from HM FP drops. What reason is there left to do these HM FP's if not for the deco? If the deco is not guaranteed on the bonus boss and we're not even getting guaranteed relic currency...., ? Even the 25/25 FP Boss takedown achievements are only worth their points. Take a look, there's no deco, titles or CC's attached to their completion. The only reward system left to speak of is the conquest points to be gained. Neither I or most members in my guild, nor many other players that I've spoken to find conquest points incentive enough and prefer to craft than waste 30 mins to an hour (depending on what players you get stuck with) for useless gear and steep RNG for deco/mounts/quality of life drops. So I ask again, for the raider population out there that started out this expansion not needing anything the lvl 60 HM FP's drops, what's our incentive? I don't much mind if there is a better idea that the developers or player base can come up with, but for now can we get some guaranteed deco/relic currency out of our frickin' bonus bosses?
  4. I noticed that the numbers 50 and 55 were added as acceptable parameters for your forum search engine. To be clear, that makes perfect sense. It seems that you have forgotten to add the number 60 as an acceptable exception to your 3 letters or more search restriction. Not sure you are allowing the number 60 to be placed in thread titles, but if not, you might want to remove that restriction as well seeing as the level capped content and everything dealing with the level capped content is now 60. Thank you.
  5. The server technology doesn't seem to support the fight mechanics, no matter how well crafted. That is my understanding of the problem. However, many progression teams have already implemented their analytical skills and executed a number of strategies that work. More than a handful of those progression teams have completed all of the HM content. Is the content easy? No. Does it take some problem solving skill set to move beyond certain fights? Yes. Should BW bite off more than its tech can chew? No. However, their new mechanics can and have been overcome. Whether BW intended it to be more difficult to accomplish, no mechanic in these new ops is impossible. So..., I don't know, perhaps there's less need for histrionics than previously thought? Just do some research on the forums. There's vids on websites of all the content cleared and you can watch and study them to figure out how they did it. That is if they didn't explain it in the video already. So yeah, tranquilo senor. Hope is but a URL away.
  6. My ignore list is crowded with bots spamming general chat advertising credits for dollars. My ability to ignore real people is shot. (not that ignoring players is a good thing, but an unfortunate necessity) Every time I log in I have to ignore 2 to 3 credit spammers, and I have to do that for all my alts. I report all credit spammers as well through the chat options. But they're cranking out more spammers than you guys are deleting them. Now if I want to ignore people who are actually players I have to choose and remember which players just offended me and which ones loot ninja'd/trolled/couldn't hack it in an operation/flashpoint. Add to this the annoyance of having to ignore the same 3 spammers on all of my alts every time I log in. Could we get a legacy ignore option? Also perhaps could you do some serious revamping of your character/account creation system so the spammers aren't capable of making so many accounts so quickly? Perhaps you could require a bank account be provided in the creation of new SWTOR accounts. Free to play or not, if you have a bank account on file then the same spammer is screwed from ever creating another player account without having to open multiple bank accounts. This also provides another excellent benefit. No child will be able to access the game without implied parental knowledge and consent. But honestly, at the very least we need the option to place someone on ignore for our entire account. That way we don't have to ignore the same spammer a plethora of times every time we log into an alt.
  7. Since a ton of the decoration items are asymmetrical I suggest for the purposes of symmetry that you add an invert deco option so that directionally facing wall and floor hook decorations can be placed adjacent to each other in opposing yet symmetrical positions.
  8. And my response remains the same. The usefulness, utility and comparable dps vacillates for each fight and melee outshines in some and acquits itself underwhelmingly in others.
  9. I disagree entirely. It's not the best that can be done. A toon leaving a guild should also prompt subtraction of whatever points acquired on said toon during guild membership for the week. This way a guild can only earn what points they get from what toons are both active and retain membership for the week. The person who earned said points shouldn't have those points taken away, but the guild who lost said toon as a member should not be rewarded a higher tally than would otherwise be possible based on the guild membership cap restriction. In addition, points a character earns with membership to guild 1 should not be able to transfer points to guild 2 when said character switches guilds mid conquest week. This would protect the integrity and intent of the conquest system and genuinely pit guild against guild and not guild against exploit. But this reply has been too long in coming and I've already seen how a few of the largest conquesting guilds have already lost interest. Not really sure an improvement to the system would even drum up further interest. But I thoroughly believe that making use of guilds as parking lots has been a destructive element of the conquest system that's demotivated quite a number of guilds who have no intent of turning themselves into rental housing just to keep up.
  10. Bah, I melee the bantha snot out of this stuff. Sure, you're not gonna parse higher in fights with high rates of target switching, but I beat the pants off the rest of my team when I don't have to switch targets as much. Fights like Coratanni and Pearl, Master Blaster, I rock the house. It's all dependent on the type of fight, of which BW did a great job on adding a healthy mix of variety. Calm thy shorts ye of little patience. Skill will come with experience and all will right itself in the world once again
  11. So far I have downed 3 out of the 4 bonus bosses in Lvl 60 HM Flashpoints and not a single one drops 192 gear, deco or elite comms for that matter. Instead we received basic comms (if we were lucky, the manaan boss just disappeared on death) and the achievement credit (proverbial pat on back). Is this something perhaps the devs overlooked or did they intend for Lvl 60 players to just avoid bonus at all costs? Cause it's honestly a waste of time without worthwhile rewards.
  12. Great point, but I suggest a combo of the original post and yours. Pay for the upgrades but when legacy transferred to lower lvl toons have the inheritance/birthright gear dial down to the closest useable level. Additionally, if the gear's level can shift then perhaps make inheritance a lower quality than birthright by boosting birthright gear to legendary quality. Whatchy'all think?
  13. Mission Discover: Archaeology (500) just gave me 2 enigmatic artifact fragments, 2 ruusan crystal and 2 luminous Blue Crystal. I get better returns from bountiful missions in that I get 8 of whatever type of gathering mat I'm going after. Mission Discoveries are supposed to yield a wealthy return with a substantial reward for the money we pay to send them out. This isn't a mission failure either. I have sent Talos Drelik out with his +5 archeology crit chance multiple times for these Mission Discovery (500)'s and received the exact same return. At best that's a return for an Abundant quality mission and we're paying twice that for the comparable result. I think it's possible you need to look into fixing it. I can't believe 10 out of 10 exact same returns is bad luck.
  14. Server is down, at least for my entire guild. All of us have been logged out and unable to reconnect for the last 10 mins.
  15. I was talking to a guild member from one of the guilds that's leading by an excess amount of points on the leaderboards of one of the planets being conquered this week. He said that his flagship guild (one of the ones at the top of the leaderboards) was getting their members to reach their individual 35k Conquest Points Cap and then having them quit the guild so that they can invite alts from their run-off guilds so that the membership cap on their 500 member flagship guild can be ignored. Is that an exploit?
  16. Oh, you know, it's not a prob. We gots your datacron hookup no probs no questions asked you know. Just keep it on da lo lo cause we's avoid dem po po fo sho.
  17. We'll also be farming Dreadtooth over the next couple of months so that all our members can obtain the Dread Guard headgear. The goal being that we all get a shot at taking down the Dreadful Entity secret boss.
  18. I've always wondered how the Emperor gets killed in one class arc's finale and the Dread Masters become the focus of almost every operation in the game. The Dread Masters? Weaker than the Emperor. Terrifying for sure, but weaker than the emperor..., less accomplished at scheming than the emperor..., less in control of their insanity than the Emperor...., The Dread Masters..., really? Not that BioWare can go back and fix it, but the Dread Masters should have been the finale of the Knight quest arc. The oober long Ops story arc should have gone to the Emperor instead of the Dread Masters. Makes a ton more sense in my opinion.
  19. Mon Calamari are a sentient species. Their planet is named Dac. Here's hoping that's helpful.
  20. These armor sets are starting to look less and less like Star Wars and more like generic sci-fi horror/anime getups. This is BioWare and they did create KOTOR..., it's like they've forgotten what a sith lord looks like. And what's with every new set having to be some kind of weird helmet for Inquisitors. How about some more masks that can fit under a hood? I'm figuring that they haven't really gotten around to the BH's, Troopers, Smugglers or Agents cause most of those look like variants of their intentions for Sith Gear. So I hope to see what they're planning soon for that. But seriously BioWare, return to your roots. Find the artistic inspiration that brought us Darth Sion, Darth Nihlus, Darth Revan, Darth Maluk, Master Atris, etc. These characters were great artistic expressions of Sith, and in Atris' case, a jedi master. I'm pretty sure that's what we want as a player base. Not some sort of half baked Gundam/Hellraiser garbage.
