  1. Hylo returned a day later. I had done all the usual stuff, wasn't grouped, exited game, restarted game, checked open stories. I didn't see anything that would have stopped me due to an open narrative. So, it fixed itself. Thank you.
  2. Attempting to turn in the completed Little Boss Mission and Hylo Visz is missing from the Smuggler's Bay on Odessen.
  3. Amen, I have seen so many games lost because of this mentality. Keep what you have, and deny the other team access.
  4. The tutorial is bad. I agree with this sentiment completely. But, I don't see this coming to be. I wish it would.
  5. I used to pay a little more attention to AFK'ers (marked by system with the yellow circle with slash). Today I was in a DM and one player was persistently marked as not contributing. Honestly, I got irritated, but I was too busy contributing or trying to. Our team did win, my contribution was just that, a contribution. At the end of the match, I checked the damage score on the AFK'er, and he had zero damage. It would be nice if there was a reasonable system that would allow us to better ID someone who is not participating that gave the needed information to allow us to make an effective decision. Otherwise, I am apt to leave the person be, because I am too busy to take the time to show them to the door.
  6. I tried to get on PTS on Monday, March 20, 2023. I crashed multiple times using the native (non-Steam) launcher. Is PTS up or down presently?
  7. I logged onto PTS today and queued for a Warzone match. I got the Alderaan map and defended the west turret along with one or two other players. I ended up with 5 kills (attackers), and 10 medals. I could not see what was happening in the center or eastside of the map. The other team ended up winning, but the match was not horrendously slanted. I feel like medals were easier to get, without being handed out like Halloween candy. I did not review the stats for all players in the match but the distribution of medals and kills suggested that all players had participated to some degree. The teams seemed balanced, and the turret damage was somewhat slow due to turret turnover. We had one member of our team who stated that they had not PVP'd before, but that the other team was not able to run us off of our captured objective, the loss came from not being able to take and hold the center turret for long enough. Overall, the match went well and it was fun. I do not know if this was due to the time of day and the players available to participate in the match, or whether there was better team matching.
  8. Good morning, Bioware. I would like to be very constructive in my criticism of the changes made to the 4v4 and 8v8 PVP matches, elimination of ranked PVP, attempts to detoxify PVP, and the PVP season. First a comment that is going to underly the much of my commentary: the forced condensation of ranked players into the new system. You have taken two very different groups of players and crammed them together in one queuing system. Frequently, but not always, ranked players team up with other players with complementary skills. This creates a VERY formidable team that lesser skilled players are going to find next to impossible to beath. So, at the outset, if you are not on a team of highly skilled players that has been created to stand up another team of highly skilled players, you run the risk of being steamrolled. 1. 4v4 and 8v8: Great idea, but highly unbalanced at present because you have arena teams just destroying the other teams. For people who might like PVP if they played on a competitive arena vs a hypercompetitive arena, this is just punishing, and not fun. 2. Elimination of ranked PVP: With the loss of a meaningful way to compete against others, and the participation in a system that rewards and favors the aforementioned highly skilled players and teams, the good and average player is going to find the present season extremely unrewarding. I expect that the highly skilled players will also find this unrewarding also. 3. It is hard to detoxify PVP, period. What I have witnessed is more matches with some player on a team becoming so frustrated with other players that they are getting very angry, and screaming at their teammates. I have seen one match that I was in, and a PVP noob introduced himself and two players on the 8 person team demeaned him (or her) for even showing up. And pinned the pending loss on them alone. The profanities used were in the F-bomb category. And, there is no instrument available to a player to push this up to Bioware for timely review. (I am aware of votekick and the report player or ignore features....these are of limited use, and of limited effectiveness). 4. The PVP season is going to be most rewarding to those players who queue in highly functional teams and who have the wherewithal to stick out the season. For many of us, this is going to be a long, slow, slog. I do know that there will be someone who is going to say, play, get better! Always good advice, but not always practical when the pee wee team takes on the professional team. I have no problem with highly skilled players working on highly skilled teams, but I am already seeing that the present route has forced these teams into the same venues of lesser skilled players. I strongly suggest that Bioware re-evaluate, sooner than later, the current structure of PVP.
  9. I have completed this quest many times now, and have done it since 7.0. I have been kicked into walls and have been unable to move, and when I can, my character dies, similar to some of the effects seen in Ruins of Nul. Also, Zo-om does not always follow from area to area and severely underperforms on healing. There is one gold starred boss that keeps killing me and summoning more and more adds and Zo-om is off doing nothing. I think that this report reflects two issues. 1. Something has happened since 7.0 which makes the terrain and walls more "porous" so that players can get kicked into them. I.e., getting kicked into no where land on Ruins of Nul Malgus fight, getting caught in red grass outside that fight. And, based on this experience, getting kicked into walls and being killed when you finally get to move. In the Shroud of Memory, it occured in the first and second areas when using "checking out ability". 2. Zo-om gets lost, does not follow, and then underperforms on healing through the mission. Thank you.
  10. Today, was running ruins of nul on Star Forge server at 15:46 EST on Consular. Was fighting the first Boss Apex Ranphyx. On the first knockback I was bounced into trees and stunned briefly. When the stun wore off and I moved forward, I appeared in the typical space associated with under the map in the Malgus fight. I moved forward in this never-never land and was defeated with fall damage (0 damage). Update: It happened again and it occurred at location - 403, 613, approximately. There is one tree here (it is the tree with the grey trunk, not the brown trunk that is nearby) and all that red grass. It happened again. It looks like I am partially submerged in the red grass. Movement killed me again.
  11. This thread is near and dear to my heart. The game has become a gear grind and having and getting the most from endgame gear does require the use of augments. Presently, the augments can be removed from gear for a cost, but the expensive MK-11 Augmentation kits get destroyed in upgrades. MK-11 Aug kits are expensive to buy on GTN and expensive to produce. I am not a fan of the current crafting system that requires that you create multiple subassemblies in hierarchical succession in order to get to one upper-level item. Because of this and the scarcity of materials for crafting in the upper tier, upper tier items are excessively expensive. Fewer people are crafting or care to craft because of the trouble in even reaching upper tier crafting. Since a crafting update is not on the horizon, Bioware, how about allowing us to remove the augments for a fee and reuse them on another piece of gear.
  12. I was in a Story Mode PUG for Explosive Conflict on 8/2 and it was bugged on the Col Vorgath quest. Crossed the mine field okay, but when we got to Vorgath, he was inside an invisible shelter (you could see two doors floating in the air and you could even climb on top of the shelter and try to attack but could do nothing to hurt him. Tried it twice, even crossed the mine field twice and he hid out in his shelter, unable to be touched by us.
