It's been over 2 years and still no hope of getting old armor back.... Hundreds of posts from subscribers without any response... Dead servers.... It's sad to see the state the game is in, and with all of the new movies that have been out, this is the only star wars MMO available and it's been left to die...

At this point it's pretty moot. Many old guilds have left the game because the single player "experience" is just that... single player... This storyline pretty much sucked the last bit of life out of the game. I miss the old open world pvp battles we used to have.

Once in a while I just wish that the devs would bring back our old armor....

It's not faction specific, but the imperial side has a better bormu spawn rate and path than the rep side, if you just want to get it done. (I have completed that achievement in the past)

Is there any hope of getting our armor back?

Well, we have several guilds organizing events on Jung Ma. Some continuing storylines (characters being captured, prisoner swaps, protecting dignitaries, etc) Some are pvp based, some are just story. My guild is a RP based trooper company, we go through basic training / barracks life. Uniforms, formations, and more... Here is a video:

do these old rewards we can buy include the party jawa? I would like that to finish off some achievements.

No SWTOR doesn't have live CSRs anymore. if they did, the bot players teleporting through walls looting chests on Rishi would have been removed about 20-30 tickets ago.. (I used to put in at least a ticket a week, think how long it's been going on) I stopped putting them in because CS sends nothing but automated messages and nothing is ever done.

Neither of these shells can be dyed to match the TH-15a Patrol set, so once again I ask Eric, how can the RP community get the TH-15a Patrol set.

Eric - Since you asked, here is my first report: How can we get the TH-15a Patrol Armor set?

On Jung Ma my rp-pvp guild is trying to take the heat off of the low levels by killing the Imps trying to get into the starter planets. They don't belong there and they are exploiting to get there.. Level 1 players are basically 1 shot where they first come into the game and then they were being spawn camped at the med centers until we and other pvp guilds arrived to drive the exploiters out. Something like this, which leaves a sour taste in a new player to the game who basically is being killed over and over and then taunted just drives players from the game. Why game masters have not stepped in and stopped this is sad. Some guilds are trying to police the servers but with so many stealthers around there are always some that slip through the cracks.

On Jung Ma my guild has been fighting Imps on Ord Mantell (a starter planet no less) all night. We have taken screenshots of the players involved and sent tickets.

Our RP Trooper guild was using the TH-15a Patrol set (from the Coruscant Trooper PVP vendor - level 40 gear that has been available from the start of the game. This is a distinct set of armor and one of the only White/Black sets of trooper armor ever created for the game. (most are variants of orange), We have spent several years RPing, creating videos and being a part of the community. Our armor is well known when we march across the battlefields of Corellia, Tatooine, Alderaan, Yavin and many other worlds as we strive to bring freedom to the Republic from Sith Tyranny.. Vendors were stripped from Fleet and the Planets and leave us no alternatives that match the armor and look that we want. I respectfully request that the developers change their mind and allow us to still be able to get older armor sets that we love. Or offer schematics so these armors sets can be crafted. (Just the chest really, the other pieces are already available to be crafted)

If you are east coast USA, you should give Jung Ma (RP-PVP) server a look. Good tight-knit community, rp events, world pvp events, regular cantina crowds etc... Good luck!

I've been in plenty of 50v50 battles and have no problems with FPS and my machine is several years old. Any average video card and lowered settings will allow you to pvp no problem in large scale battles.

They already have that, it's called PVE servers...

Alpha Company is still going strong on Jung Ma if you want some RP / PVP. (Republic side, but we are still in white plastisteel just like the old days.

Movement wise, you also forget that Guard has a Friendly Leap, which can be used to position for an attack on an enemy next to the friendly as well. (or to get back into range of someone being guarded)

A dewback! Unfortunately it's a cartel item... I really wished for a way to get it via quests like the Tauntauns on Hoth.
