  1. Hello! My guild, Cryo, is recruiting! We're very active as a guild, during prime time, we normally have 20 + players on which is awesome! We do pretty much everything. - Our goal, is to be very helpful and friendly, if you're new to PvP, OPs, or just need some general help, we'd be glad to help ya get started, so don't be afraid to sign up on our guild runs! - We're able to get ranked on Conquest every week. - We've got some very active PvPers, usually a group running at night. - We do a ton of OPs (at least 2-3 a day, randomly put together, full guild runs, either SM or HM) - Currently have 4 HM teams and 1 new team starting. - A Guild Ship with a very well stocked Guild Bank with all the necessities (supplies for everyone to use, adrenals, medpacs, stims, you name it and a Guild Store, where members can withdraw certain items per week depending on their rank) - A great website, good application system at CryoSwtor.enjin.com - A good Mumble server, which can have 50 + people on at once, as we're looking to expand with the 500 member increase. - Great leadership! We almost always have either Majors (Lts in most guilds) or Officers on. - We also use a great app outside of the game, called GroupMe, basically our Guild Chat outside of the game, great way to put things together or contact someone if they're not on. - We also need good HM raiders, as a couple teams need a few people. We're looking to heavily expand, we want to be this best pub side guild on the Harbinger! If you're interested, reply to this thread and I'll get back to you as soon as I can, or sign up on our Website @CryoSwtor.enjin.com! Or simply message me in game, at Mason-Mz (all my alts are named Mason, just type in Mason in the who list and you'll find me) Thank you for reading! Hope to see you soon!

  3. Aww! Thank you so much This really made me happy, it was a huge surprise!
  4. You idea suggested that pulse cannon loses the damage buff, which is 60% increase if we stack pulse generator. The idea that I'm suggesting is very small, a 3% to 6% damage boost to a single target. It's just a simple buff to bring us slightly closer to Assault because as it stands, Assault is going to deal much more damage than Tactics can.
  5. Your idea is great, but I don't want to lose the great AoE we currently have. As it stands now, we are not usually the best AoE class. Focus and Rage Sentinels/Maras are the best. And they still have pretty good single target DPS. With my suggestion. It won't negatively effect our AoE. But it'll help out sustained damage. And it isn't a complicated buff at all, very simple. Edit: I just read your idea more, and by completely removing the damage stack/proc to pulse cannon. It would kill Tactics. It would make Assault have the same exact AoE potential as we do. AoE defines Tactics. I'm just saying we need a buff to our sustained DPS, just a little buff. We really don't need a nerf to our AoE. With my suggested buff, it really wouldn't change our AoE at all, which is why it'd be perfect. As it stands, we have good AoE. But compared to Focus/Rage, they have great AoE too. And, they can parse higher on dummies than we currently can. And yes, we would still use Pulse Cannon in our rotation. But it's damage would be pretty terrible. It's like Assault using Pulse Cannon, it doesn't do enough damage for Assault to even use it, yes it would be free. But it just wouldn't do nearly enough damage. A 60% DPS loss would be huge. I don't think it even needs a nerf at all.
  6. I'm sorry if this has been thought of already, but I've never seen anyone have the idea before. A lot of people think AP cannot be buffed because it already has great AoE. And if you were to buff AP, it'd make AP AoE better. But, AP single target DPS is pretty bad at the moment. Yes, it has great burst. But it has quite a ramp up time, and you never see ANY AP Powertechs in the parse leader boards. So here is my idea, buff the skill Blood Tracker. Currently it increases the damage you deal to BLEEDING targets by 3%. So, if you increase the damage to lets say... 6%? I'm not sure what the exact amount should be. And change it from bleeding targets to damage from your Retractable Blade. So, it should just increase your DPS to single targets, and that's it. Because if you use Retractable Blade twice on two different targets, you'll burn out very quickly. I think it'd be a great idea, hopefully it hasn't been discussed before. But let me know what you guys think, thanks! (I converted this from the post on the Vanguard forum, so hopefully I converted it right lol)

And if you were to buff Tactics, it'd make Tactics AoE better. But, Tactics single target DPS is pretty bad at the moment. Yes, it has great burst. But it has quite a ramp up time, and you never see ANY Tactics Vanguards in the parse leader boards. So here is my idea, buff the skill Triumph. Currently it increases the damage you deal to BLEEDING targets by 3%. So, if you increase the damage to lets say... 6%? I'm not sure what the exact amount should be. And change it from bleeding targets to damage from your gut. So, it should just increase your DPS to single targets, and that's it. Because if you use gut twice on two different targets, you'll burn out very quickly. I think it'd be a great idea, hopefully it hasn't been discussed before. But let me know what you guys think, thanks!
  8. And I never said you criticized my grammar. I'm just saying I've done nothing for you to call me a "kiddie". And I see nothing wrong with "Post #25" I'm not being a hypocrite.
  9. Did you not see what I said? I said I CAN kill them. Also, I'm not asking for a buff. And who said I'm not taking the advice? You assume a lot dude. And tell me... From everything I've said, what makes you think I'm a "kiddie". My grammar and spelling are all fine. And what you said here "OMG I CAN'T KILL IT, GIEF NUFF NAOW" is totally false. ...And what post are you referring to? When you're saying I need to re-read my last post?
  10. If by "Lifted" you mean force lift, than no, that has an activation time. Easy to counter. It's not this instant area, 8 second mezz that the Operative has.
  11. Totally agree with everything you just said. Operatives do actually pretty low damage. I wouldn't mind if they got a buff in DPS. It's just the stuns that I think are unfair and annoying.
  12. I'm not trolling, I have a pretty good argument here. And if you take a good look at the forums I'm not the only person. There are a lot of other posts about snipers/operatives being OP, or at the very least, annoying. And you might not be an elitist, but you do have a very high opinion of yourself and it just makes you look like an ***. "I'm done with you and your kind." Like... seriously? Nothing is wrong with my "kind", I'm quite intelligent. No need to say stuff like that, just because odds are, you're defending your class. (Which is reasonable)
  13. So why'd you respond back? Just to say you reported me? Yeah, real mature. Also you "personally attacked" me too. Man I hate you elitist people... So full of yourself.
  14. Jesus christ... you are such an idiot. First of all, I'm not a "Smasher" I''m combat specced, don't just assume I'm a smasher just because everyone else is.. Second, I can beat them. Never said I couldn't. Third, I'm just saying that compared to almost every class, a Sniper can just dominate them. Aside from a good Shadow. All I'm saying is for the Sniper all these little "steps" you need to take to kill them are ridiculous. No other class needs as much "care" to beat them. Get it? They can just dominate other ranged classes, they destroy melee classes. Only class that gives them trouble is a GOOD Shadow, but if the Sniper is equally skilled the Shadow could lose. My point is, to kill a Combat Sent all you have to do is knock them back/stun them while they have the precision slash buff, that's it. Or with any Sent just knock them back/stun and we're screwed. To kill a Guardian, just simply out DPS them, no real special trick. To kill a Commando, all you pretty much have to do is interrupt grav round and they can't do much. Vanguard is the same/close enough to being a melee class. Sages, just interrupt them, that's it. Shadows can be a little tricky, but not bad. Just survive their first burst and it's okay. Get my point now? And with Operatives... come on, anyone that hasn't played an Operative knows their stuns are annoying as hell and Operatives can be overpowered if a good player is playing as one.
  15. I'm not asking for that, I said nothing about have more CC breakers.
  16. Okay, what you said actually sense. Maybe Snipers aren't "OP" but they are annoying, same with Operatives. So instead of OP, I'll just use this, extremely unfair. Maybe I just came off the wrong way, you're right. Their damage is nothing special. I have no problem with their damage output. It's the stuns that piss me off. Heck, I'd be happy if they got a damage boost but a nerf to stuns.
  17. Normally I would of done that, but he was capping the pylon and I was farther away from it. And the sage, that was next to you was stunned and just.. wasn't doing anything so I leaped in and got stunned. Quoted the wrong thing lol, but when you were talking about to not use the stun breaker on the first stun.
  18. It only takes 5 second to cap, and I believe the stun lasted 8 seconds.
  19. First thing you said. Okay, what happened was I was running from the pylon. This Operative, while he's still invisible, stuns me once, I pop my stun breaker, and he stuns me again while he's still invisible. That just seems OP and should be balanced. And it's not that I can't kill one, because I usually can. Most people just think I'm calling out nerfs because it's the "one class I can't beat" No, that isn't it. I'm just saying, against all the other classes. The Sniper is special, certain ways to engage them, certain ways to fight them. With just about every class there is no strategy to beat them, just use your interrupt and just kill them. But if you're melee and up against a Sniper they are just slowing your movement speed for far away, stunning you and knocking you back while you get close, then slowing your movement speed again. It just seems unfair.
  20. Okay now you're just being stupid. Snipers don't get nothing, they have a lot of abilities Plenty to deal with most any class. I had problems with Snipers with my Vanguard too.. Tactics spec
  21. That is exactly what I think too. With most classes, like fighting another Mara/Sentinel. It takes little effort to bring them down, just interrupt the Ravage/Master strike and you're fine. The rest is just kill them, same with Jugs, Sorcs and most other classes I can think of. Just a little interrupt and you're fine. But with Snipers... You have to approach them a certain way, wait for them to do things then respond with what you have. It's just irritating. Then you're just waiting to be unstunned while they just hammer you. Like with most other classes, you just kill them. No real special way to do so besides a interrupt or two. But with these? It's all "special" (edit) Don't get me wrong, I do like certain ways of approaching each class. Adds variety, but even if you do everything right they'll still just stun you.
  22. Well your advice was better than most lol, but like I said. No force camo yet. And I'm combat, still in the low levels of PvP. Maybe that is the thing I'm just missing then, that'll make everything just magically click. Either way, I still think Operatives are OP though. Or just plain annoying.
  23. And no, I'm not a "smash monkey" I'm combat, don't just assume things like everyone else.
  24. And yeah, I know it's not a good idea to use the stun breaker on the first stun. But he was capping the pylon, tell me what else was I supposed to do? You guys just jump to the conclusion that I don't know how to play, but that isn't it. I don't have Force Camo yet, still in the lower warzones.
  25. Thanks Tsillah, you actually seem to get it. Everyone else just think I don't know how to play which that isn't how it is at all. And I'm not saying my Valor is any measure of skill at all. I'm just saying I have experience with the game. I get around 400k DPS in most public warzones, which isn't too bad.. Maybe they are just defending their class, I don't know. They seem a little right about the Sniper though, I still think it's a little OP. But they have some good points. But the Operative is way too OP and cheap.
