  1. The fact is that the devs/moderators have given up on this game. Spam in chat, spam in mail, reporting it doesn't do squat, the same idiots are spamming weeks and months later. There's even a freaking Craigslist style "I want to buy blahblahblah item, paying XXXX credits" thread on the General Discussion forum that's been around on the top page for a whole month. That upcoming sandbox/open world Star Wars MMO can't get here fast enough for a LOT of us.
  2. Laugh it up. I canceled my subscription over this fiasco, and I know I'm not the only one who did so.
  3. I just returned and resubscribed to the game last week, rolled a new sorcerer, and look what happens. Cancelling again.
  4. LOL This post is why a lot of people DO play on RP servers.
  5. This year's April Fool's joke will cost you 600 Cartel coins to see. And I wish I wasn't joking, soon you'll have to pay Cartel coins to log off in a cantina for rest xp.
  6. ... and it will result in a group of players (you perhaps), blindly berating anyone pointing out the flaws that the game has, has made, or will make. Either for just the sake of arguing, trolling, or being closed minded. Touche'.
  7. The only "content" I've seen lately is for sale for hard cash in the Cartel market. This does not count as "game content". Period. The only upcoming "content" we have to pay for, i.e. the expansion. Anyone still subscribing with half a brain is saving their monthly "allowance" of Cartel coins, so they can unlock a few things and dump their subscription.
  8. ANYTHING put into the Cartel Market DOES NOT count as "game content", regardless of what the devs brand it as. The only exception would be if they allowed the purchase of the upcoming expansion through cartel coins as an alternative to paying with it on a credit card.
  9. In other words, it was an exploit, and the devs are snapping it shut. They are, however, not going to penalize anyone because even more people will quit this game. An exploit is an exploit. We now get to see that the devs have no backbone to penalize for it, for fear of their corporate overlords yelling about an even more dwindling subscriber/customer base.
  10. I just hope that Bethesda Softworks handles their first MMO (Elder Scrolls Online) better than this mess. This is now the Star Wars version of Magic: The Gathering ... buy a crapload of brand new expansion pack sets every few months, even if you pay a monthly fee, or be left in the past. No thank you.
  11. The timing of the ONLY month that subscribers' monthly allotment of coins being delayed paired with the introduction of "pay coins for faction X,Y, or Z by buying Cartel Packs" is fishy, to say the least. Somehow, SOE doesn't seem as bad as we all thought they were, with the SWG fiasco, considering the latest developments in this game.
  12. On the 15th of this month, the log shows that I received only 400 coins as a subscriber also, this month they were listed as +100 coins 4 times in a row for "Security Key Monthly Grant", and I received NO "Subscriber Monthly Grant", as I usually do. I was shorted this month, and how convenient, the same week that 'pay for rep" is implemented. Really? Are you trying to drive away the few loyal subscribers you still have?
  13. Having played most MMO's since UO, I can wholeheartedly say that the most whiney, intolerant, primadonna group are DPS. In any MMO. Period. They inevitably blame the tanks and or healers for everything, including bad pulls that they themselves initiated, either by sheer stupidity or by accident. They even whine when the pace of the group is too fast or too slow. I know that everyone one here has seen tanks and healers drop from a group because of one or more DPS monkeys being verbally abusive and childish.
  14. Someone undercut your undercut, and you're mad? This is amusing.
