I believe many NA players posting in this topic don't really understand the larger issue beneath those few hours of inconvenient maintenance times. Up until recently, the EU gamer community (which imo contains many of the most loyal and enthousiastic gamers) have been the underdogs of the gaming industry. For years we've had to put up with long waits for bad localisations (or no localisations at all, having to resort to imports), bad customer service and higher relative pricing. In recent years, things got better. One only has to look at Operation Rainfall for the Wii to see the EU community has been treated better nowadays. For many of us, SWTOR's lack of a European maintenance window symbolizes a throwback to that Dark Age when there were only NA servers, NA customer support etc. Also, the argument that there are more NA players really doesn't hold. Even if you're a majority, it's only a marginal one, and the EU playerbase is large enough regardless of relativity to warrant an independant customer service. It's not simply a matter of inaccessibility due to maintenance time, it's a matter of respect and consideration for your customers.

I'm tired of the whole "why do you care you should be at work" argument. A great proportion of the community are higher education students who have irregular school times, or people working irregular hours, night shifts or 4/5days a week. Also, the peak time argument fails, as there are still a great, great many people who want to play at those times. Less than peak time, but still a lot.

Also, don't forget our Daily Missions currently reset according to Americans erver time, which is in the afternoon for us. Can't play in the evening? Forget about your daily mission rewards.

I guess it'll be fixed sooner or later though,as it affects even Revan, and he's Bioware's baby.

I've said it before and I'll say it again: it's unacceptable. If Bioware thinks the European community will put up with this they're wrong. It's simply insulting. A seven year old game does better.

It's not even only a maintenance problem: wait until people start to realise their dailies reset in the afternoon. Can't play in the evening? Forget about your daily reward.

Our Daily Missions reset in the afternoon. I don't think I have to explain the implications of this.

Just wait until a larger portion of the EU playerbase reaches level 50 and finds out that Daily Missions reset in the afternoon for us instead at night. Then we'll have even larger hell breaking loose. Really Bioware, this is bad, bad form. If you have any hope of keeping this game afloat and competing on the MMO market, you'll have to keep your EU player base happy and provided for.

"Are we dead y-oh my goodness, we won!" I find I'm grinding faster with him as a Darkness Assassin than with any dps companion. Fights don't last much longer because having to take care of all enemies myself actually gives me access to more shock combo points. And there's no downtime between battles to use Seethe or regen companion, always both come out at full health.

Why don't they just be honest and admit the game was rushed for 2011 holiday period and they hadn't set up a EU-based service yet. While I like the game and would like to see where it's going, it's obviously suffering from a rushed release. Global maintenance, no UI customization, many bugs still remaining etc.

This is simply unacceptable. If we are expected to pay a monthly subscription I expect my money's due.

Is it me or is the scaling of self-healing from Dark Wars and Darkness talents bugged, or is it supposed to be like that? It just doesn't seem noticeable at all.

I very much support this and it needs to be fixed soon. Wearing only a full helmet as Sith Inquisitor looks just wrong and lessens the dramatic/intimidation factor. And yes, it is even more stupid because of Revan, who has such an iconic appearance, now appearing without a hood.
