I thought I had plenty of hard drive space too. It turned out that it took about 57 GB to do the install. Since I have an older laptop, due to the graphic settings I had to go with, I can only play for about 1 hour before getting a headache from the low frame rate. I'm trying to get a new(er) laptop, but that's gonna take some time. I wish they had left the lower graphic setting option there. My system worked just fine with it, and no headaches.

Gotta admit there's times that stealth would be handy to have, but for now I'm happy where my toon is at. And I do have the option to select a additional combat style at a later time. I do appreciate to opinions given about this.

It sounds like I'll probably be ok for now without a second combat style. There's always a chance to re-visit the option once any bugs get worked out. I've done the expansions without stealth, so that's not a big deal to me. It really comes down to I don't want to make a selection that I'll regret later. So as long as I can play my characters in an ok way, I'll be content where they are.

This may be a silly question, is there a downside to not selecting another combat style? Have to admit I've been reluctant to choose one.

I just found out the hard way how the game replaces your stuff, whether it's on you character, or in your inventory, it doesn't seem to matter. I had two relics, a 320 and a 326. I scraped together enough stuff to see I could buy a 330 relic. I removed both from my character and put them in my inventory. I had heard about getting stuff while equipped could cause your old stuff to be replaced whether you wanted that or not. So, in this case, with both relics in inventory, after the purchase of the 330 relic, it replaced my 326 relic, leaving the 320 one alone. WHAT THE HECK! Is this new system working as intended? If it is, I can't believe BW would think this is a good thing. Why should any purchase 'replace' a similar item you have, whether it's on your character, or in your inventory.

I don't like playing them, but I can get behind this, along with improving, say, them rest of the game...

Not sure if it's the same thing, but on some of the higher flash points, I get very low frame rates, almost unplayable. I'm limited to playing on a laptop at present, but it seems that the game is not optimized well for lesser computers to play the game.

Improve Player experience: Roll back to previous version, It was far better than this current disappointment! UI interface: Put the old one back up, New UI is just bad, and should have never seen the light of day. Respectful: That is a two way street. I for one would appreciate it if the team respected all the feedback and suggestions from the PTS and made the corrections before putting the current version live. This version release has caused needless harm/frustration for the team and the community. I for one am not pleased with this game version that attempts to force me to play the game in ways that I don't care for. An argument could be made that the team has showed 'disrespect/contempt' for it's own player base by not addressing known problems before the launch of this game version. I would favor a roll back, fix the problems with 7.0, using the suggestions made on PTS, for however long that may take, and release a clean 7.0.

This expansion is so incredibly bad, I just don't feel like even trying to play the latest stuff. And no, I won't PVP. No, I won't play GSF. And it may be that won't do OPS anymore. Take that for your flipping stats DEVS.

Wasn't there a Star Wars game put out with a very similar story line? A Datacron with names on it? Where have I seen this before.....

I Have to agree with this. Over all the years with whatever updates, too many times suggestions were ignored. Devs will do what devs want. And we're supposed to like it. We'll see.

I got it working again! I re-loaded Swotor as a re-install, and the launcher came up. Thank you, Jedi Master Brooks for your help!

Windows 8 Pro.

Neither appear listed there. If this helps, I had logged on for a short time last Saturday, no problems noted then. Then I installed a free older version of photo shop. Then yesterday is when I couldn't launch the game.

It is on C drive. How do I fix the DiskCacheStatic and DiskCacheStream? I did try the repair launcher file, but that didn't work.

I've not had this happen before. Game unable to load temporary files, Code C6. I have over 30gig disk space available. Not sure what to do.

I've not tried goose, sounds good though. I do a three day brine soak of our turkey, rotating it in the solution twice a day (The one time that it's OK to 'Flip the Bird' ). Then rinse the brine off, pat it dry, then oven bake or deep fry. Either way the bird is very moist (even the white meat) and tends to fall apart when you try to trim it. I may have to try that with a goose some time. Oh, I'll try the rocket pack thing too.

Thanks for the input. It was a story line flash point, I did have my comp out, and I did get the harvest symbol on the carcass. I didn't realize that some FP's have been bugged like this. (Bummer). I'll try the dismiss comp thing next time to see if that works. Happy Thanksgiving! Time for a turkey coma....

I found I could not harvest during story line Blood Hunt flash point. I'm a level 75 and at the required Bio-analysis level 450, but whenever I clicked on a carcass to harvest, nothing happened. Is this a bug, or maybe because it was a story flash point one cannot harvest anything, which would seem to be odd...

I'm a bit annoyed with UI change myself. I Didn't see a need for any changes there, it certainly will not influence me to buy or play anything in game, I have my own way, thank you very much BW. Any way to know if the dev's listened to ANY suggestions from the player base or the PTS? I have no idea what the track record is, but I take the hint that it's not very good. Disappointing.

Or have to self-quarantine on your ship... :D
