  1. ^this. played a few yesterday, all had role missmatch. no point unless i want to run with full premade group because then its a default win in 95% of the matches as long as casuals are forced into playing it by the seasons objectives.
  2. people afking in pvp to get season objectives is a thing i did notice too. but unlike gsf people in pvp cant find the vote-kick button and also it doesnt tell you when someone is not participating you have to see it. usually people standing just outside their own spawn where they probably wont be killed and dont have the deserter debuff anymore and then wait 12 minutes.
  3. does this mean arena roles will not be mirrored but only capped on tank/heal role? Also i assume this skill rating is per character, not account wide?

If so, what do these improvements look like? make watchdog locks and the tunnel before kanoth work properly Did you want to upgrade your Hazardous gear? yes but its only really better than rakata from 336 on so at that point i wait to have 5 tokens to make a 340 piece and also safe augment kits. but i used them to mostly make main/offhands because you need a lot of those and getting purple tokens is not relieable How quickly were you able to upgrade your Hazardous gear? watchdog farm was pretty quick Was Hazardous gear helpful in completing The R-4 Anomaly? yes i supplemented the pieces that drop from last boss for dominique progression Do you like the look of these armor sets? didnt look at it too much but its not what i would wear over my outfits Did you attempt to clear The R-4 Anomaly to earn these armor sets? no i need my tokens for actual gear Is there anything you’d like to see from future Operations armors? i think gear pieces that recreate the outfits of certain iconic bosses can be popular like the dread master outfits from back in the day Do you like the look of this mount? yes. better than izax wings Did you attempt to clear The R-4 Anomaly to earn this mount? kekw. i mean i farmed kanoth a lot for gear and ive not seen it drop. idk what exactly "small chance" means but ive probably done 30+ kills and not seen it so this is nothing you can farm especially not if you want it on a specific character that gets locked out for a week every time you kill and has a 1:8 chance to get it if it drops. Is there anything you’d like to see from future Operations mounts? i mean in this case its thematically tied to kanoth but in general i think the mounts should be a reward for clearing so preferably make it a safe drop from last boss (or maybe do that for the nim). optionally tie it to an acheivment as well like with the limited time izax wings at first.
  5. Operative: Aoe dr and the infusion spam nerf are good, cant speak about the concealment changes as i dont play that spec very much. Sniper: all this does is change the build from having laze target almost every ambush to probably every ambush. not a very big increase and a main issue of the class is lack of any defensives that has no been adressed. Pt: oh boy. AP is underperforming in every aspect compared to pyro and already and this is a big nerf to sustained damage on a spec that already has some of the worst sustained damage in the game. This feels purely catered to pvp with that tactical as well. that tactical has zero use in pve as the det-EB-det-EB-det chain will kill players within seconds but completely destroy your heat and the spec already struggles with heat after the removal of the old 6.0 set. the other two options on that tactical might as well not exist, except to detonate the det in under 12 seconds so overwhelming offense remains best in slot. People complained about AP having an overpowered burst in pvp and underperforming sustained damage in pve and these changes enhance will enhance that burst and nerf the sustained to a point where the spec is completely unuseable in pve. The reduced damage to bleeding targets is unneccessary as 2% flat damage loss is quite significant in pve but who actually wastes a gcd to put that on in pvp if you can just delete the guy instead? lingering heat is dead after this because 4k damage over 12 seconds kekw, use power burst in pve instead. 10% nerf to bleed and 14% to the main filler are again not vey subtle while at least the bleed is barely used in pvp or at least not part of the specs gimmick while essential in pve.
  6. kind of assumed this was at least a known issue given its been in the game and is frequently encountered for over half a year now and im pretty sure i reported it before but anyway: 1. no anything on the debuff bar can show dark/greyscaled. the same debuff can show normal or dark on different people at the same time, for example if you put sorc bubble on people it will show dark on some and normal on others and if the debuff expires it may show dark the next time on a person where it was normal the first time. also if you raidbuff for example the debuff will show normal on some, and dark on others even though they are all applied from a single ability use. it also doesnt matter if a player or npc applies the effect, so this doesnt only effect the common debuffs players may apply to each other (raidbuff, revive, bubble or dots in pvp for example) but also stacks, dots and debuffs applied by bosses. 2. not that i would know. it can happen at any point and before you wipe the first time, rest as explained in the first point. 3. show group frame as operations frame, downscale player buffs, upscale player debuffs and increased ops frame and hp bar size in frame, highlighted debuffs. think thats all settings that effect the ops frame UI.
  7. there is some survivorship bias in this as i would consider my skill level significantly above average. Ill rank the fps in relation to each other from very easy to very hard based on the boss encounters or other required mechanics at master mode and then make a comment if there is something that is noteworthy like excessive lenght. Esseles/Black Talon - very easy. more cutscenes than anything else, if people dont skip youre are stuck here for an hour. Hammer Station - very easy. The name spammer station doesnt come out of nowhere. by far the fastest fp and go to gear farm run that ive been forced into by the group finder too many times. Also nobody wants to do the bonus boss because not skiping adds to get the required kills doubles the time the fp takes. Athiss Mandalorian Raiders Cademimu Boarding Party Taral V The Foundry Maelstorm Prison Directive 7 Battle of Ilum The False Emperor -> these all have in common that they are easy but pretty long if you would do all the trash on the way. In some of them people found ways to skip a lot of it but then you cant do the bonus anymore or in case of Taral V and False Emperor you can literally skip a boss (the droid before the bunker entrance and the gamorrean you can literally just walk past if you stick to the wall). So i would suggest to either reduce the required kills/objectives to do the bonus bosses or completely disconnect the bonus boss from any other objective like in the more recent fps. Red Reaper - medium. Its not the easiest one as it has some mechanics that you actually cant ignore anymore this patch but given you can skip everything as a stealther one of the more farmable ones i dont really like to do. Kaon under siege - medium. its ok. Lost Island - hard. most bosses in here are hard for a casual group, especially bonus boss and last boss. while you can skip bonus last one might often break a group, ive wiped there a lot after the initial 7.0 release with low dps. Czerka corporate labs - medium. trash is really manageable and not as boring given it has some mechanic to it at times but the first boss feels a bit overtuned atm. Czerka core meltdown - easy. very basic mechanics, very few trash packs, good time/effort relation. Assault on Tython - medium or hard. better have a decent healer but again feels pretty fast and the bonus boss doesnt require more kills than you do anyway. Korriban Incursion - medium. same deal as tython but the second boss is the only boss ive seen people struggle. Depths of Manaan - medium or hard. trash packs before the second boss are pretty long and the second boss also requires some idea of what you are doing and a semi-competent heal. Legacy of the Rakata - medium. there isnt too much trash to clear but it feels stretched over a pretty long distance and in return feels pretty long. Blood hunt - medium or hard. almost no trash but has a good pace with bosses that feel like they got easier over the years but still arent easy. Battle of Rishi - medium or hard. last boss is hard for pug groups, length is ok. Crisis on Umbara - hard or very hard. first boss is cheeseable by hiding in the corner, last boss is hard with all the adds that are also hard to find with all the barrels on the minimap counting as enemies. Traitor among the Chiss - very hard. and please do something about the trash before first boss, it takes longer than the rest of the fp if you cant skip it. pug groups will often break on second boss. Nathema conspiracy - very hard. and very long, the trash packs between 1st and 2nd boss take too long if you cant skip and between 2nd and 3rd boss are super annoying to fight with the roots and knockbacks. Objective Meridian - medium. too much trash but you can just walk past it so whatever, also there were differences here between rep and imp and one was significantly harder than the other but forgot what was what. Spirit of Vengence - very hard. this might be my perception due to a bunch of bugs ive encountered here. its also very long but it has a lot of bosses so its not like there is excessive trash packs its just overall takes longer to do than most of the others. Secrets of the Enclave - medium. not sure how hard the final dps check on last boss is for casual groups but after youre in the there isnt much trash and killing the droid on the console serves a purpose. Ruins of Nul - medium. second boss requires some knowledge of what youre supposed to do and ive not done the bonus boss yet given it was disabled for a while. In general fps are lacking a bit of an incentive to do them atm and there is even less reason to do long or tedious ones other than purely for fun knowing you wont get anything form it and people might just quit the group in search of the next spammer station. People used to do them for gear last patch and now they just arent as needed for that anymore. Same thing for HM ops atm that similarly lack any real reward for completing the harder ones (dxun, gods, rav, tos and now r4 i guess havnt cleared that yet).
  8. im happy you are at least adressing some issues with balance and tacticals, really hopeing to see a workable tactical for tactics/AP again (other than overwhelming offense, thats the most annoying thing i ever used). Also im still hopeing to see Pacify/Obfuscate added back in for sent/mara, at least as a choice. Maybe make force choke baseline and put obfuscate in that choice instead.
  9. ah yes. 1.470.000 tech fragments for a full set of gold augments that barely provide a noticeable stat increase in current scaling is totally reasonable. im sure this will also not cause another 200-300% price increase to the mats by cutting off the current main supply and tieing the mats only to a currency everybody needs to buy and upgrade implants/tacitcals. just that upgradeing implants gives you more stats than upgradeing purple to gold augs.... At least i had a good laugh reading this.
  10. ok so im wearing full augmented 326 with one 330 relic (rest is exactly 326), mix of all gearing paths on my marauder and all my stats get reduced in warzones. from my understanding that was only supposed to happen for gear above 326 so i would expect to lose tiny bit of endurance and power i gained from my relic compared to a 326 one but as much as is the case. in warzones im missing compared to normal stats (rounded): 200 mastery, 2,5k endurance, 2,1k power, 850 crit, 100 alacrity and 800 accuracy. is this intended? does everybody get this?
  11. youre right i dont like that, it has no use on single target since flame sweep and searing wave are not rotational on AP.
  12. so whats AP/tactics useing now? I do welcome that you finally remove these but will the schematic just be removed from my learned ones or do i get my event currency that i spent on it back at least?
  13. After playing with these changes for a few days now i must say these are complete garbage but in a slightly different way than i expected. Nobody has an overview of what droped or who even got it, not even the people that got it. Chat is completely unuseable to track that as it gets spammed with all the useless crap everyone gets and it is a nightmare to distribute mats and set pieces that drop properly, especially since mats like OEM go directly into mat cargo. Please let us just need/greed/pass roll on things again
  14. I dont care too much about master loot, it has its use but overall its rarely used these days. But i do think just dumping everything on a random player that might not even want it will have the exact opposite effect here. I can see gear beeing a personal drop but why not keep the current roll system for everything else so decoration/mounts/mats etc.? This sounds like it will just overcomplicate loot distribution.
  15. ok ive been looking for information on this now as well as i came back to the game a few months ago and used to main pt tank and arsenal merc where both best in slot sets are now drop only. the thread is a year old and i dont know if everything said here is still up to date but i did get the emergency power boots from a renown crate on my pt recently. chance for that i probably very very low tho. did see a lot of apex predator drop on old NIM ops recently but no emergency power pieces as far as i can tell.
