How do we go about getting a refund on our subscription?? We paid the money based on the fact we are playing in servers known in some location and the ping that we would be getting. Now, it seems almost like a breach of trust and forcefully impose on players a higher ping for which we did not pay for. How to get refund?

Seriously Keith, what the hell are you thinking about when you merge West coast servers with East Coast? In case you've forgotten, APAC players suffered a huge blow to ping when Aussie servers were shut down. But at the very least, we could still play the game with 200ms at West coast ones. East coast ones are UNPLAYABLE because it's about 300 ms!!! Have YOU tried to impose that kind of ping on your own gameplay and try it out for yourself?! You missed my point for discussion. I definitely know that in a real fight, with multi dotting and cleaves and all, we can do decent damage. However, the same can be said for other classes as most classes or specs have got their aoe damage as well. Which is why, in my original post, I stated 'single target'. My point is (I reiterate): snipers do deceptively higher on a dummy than in a real fight (due to excessive roll), but other classes do deceptively lower on dummy than in a real fight (main factor due to reflect). But, other people do not see this. They mainly look at parsely and go, 'hey snipers can still do 10k. Buff my merc or sorc or whatever class', without taking into account the fact that roll is used on dummy to get that dps, and snipers have no reflect that help boost its damage. With this deceptive number, people can complain. Developers may too, only look at dummy numbers (as they said, 5 minutes). This could lead to a false inflation of sniper numbers, and lead people to think that snipers need more nerfing. Hence, I wonder, are we doing ourselves a disservice by posting parses that make use of excessive rolls, which cannot be done all the time in a real fight?

Just some food for thought.. Is it good for us to always try to push as high dps as possible on dummy (roll) and then uploading it, giving others the impression that snipers (virulence and engineering) are always doing more dps than other classes? Reason I ask this is because, for snipers, our dps on a dummy is deceptively higher than in ops (against single target), whereas many other classes (mara, PT, merc, jug, etc) are deceptively lower on dummy than in ops (against single target) due to reflect. By using roll excessively on dummy and getting a good parse, inevitably gives others the impression that snipers are doing really well, when in actual ops (single target), it may not be the real case. This false impression can lead to people who keep asking for more nerfs to sniper, or more buffs to other classes. This recent nerf has led to a v significant drop in dps, but one can still see people crying for more buffs to other classes because snipers can still hit 10k on dummy. Lol lol. They neglect to see the excessive roll used. Thoughts?

We are a group of returning old players who started raiding again in June, and are clearing HM content (done TFB SV DF DP, with EC left) before moving on to HM GOTM. We are looking for 2 more to fill the ranks, preferably a dps and healer, or 2 dps. For dps, please be able to do at least 9k on dummy, and able to translate into good effective dps during ops. For healer, please know your rotation well, how to do burst or AOE heal, off dps when healing requirement is low, etc. Tanks are welcome too as we can switch roles around. What we are looking for is the player, not the class. We are a small group of players (not the typical large guilds) and use discord for communication. If you're new to raiding (since there aren't many that raid at this time), no worries, just need to be open to constructive criticism and have the desire to keep improving. Do you activate a skill, then wait 0.5-1.0 sec before activating the next one after the GCD is up? If so, then yeah, there's absolutely no energy issues. Or do you use rifle shot a lot? Then, yeah no energy issues. His main idea was that it's manageable now, with the occasional rifle shot (roll on dummy) and use of other energy cooldowns, but with the 5 energy cost on weakening blast, it will cause a cascading negative effect in the rotation.

I resubbed recently to the game after a hiatus, and am looking for groups to raid with and have some fun at the same time, as all I really do in the game is raid. I was on and off from the game for past few years and my achievements are: ravagers - 4/5 hm, tos - 4/5 hm, DF - 5/5 nim, DP - 5/5 hm, TfB - 5/5 nim, SV - 7/7 hm I used to tank back in tfb, sv, df and dp, and also dpsed and healed in other groups. These are my preferred classes/roles: DPS - sniper, merc, jug Heals - sorc Tank - sin / pt I have more gear on my sniper but relatively few gear for other classes but if needed, I can play other classes as well. I also have an AC of every class on both pub and imp side, so can do either, but prefer imp.
