  1. Just north of Wardpost Landa beneath a pair of Bridges.
  2. Didn't know where else to put this so here goes. On Alderaan there is a cave called The Ruins of Jamona, there are a couple of spots at the back you can't get in to, at least not easily. I did make it into the spot on the left, but all I could do was stand at the end of the fallen column. I couldn't walk forward, and if I stepped left or right I fell and became stuck. Anyone have any idea what that space is there for? I thought there may have been a datacron back there but if there is, it's blocked. Was there something there in beta? Something I am missing?
  3. During Colicoid Wargames where you are fighting on the platforms, most players will force push the droids off the platforms. I was playing a Jedi Guardian and tanking for the group. I hit force leap right as someone hit force push, I leaped after the droid and followed him off the platform right down to my death. My team mates were laughing so hard, and I was nominated for a Darwin Award by one of my teammates. LOL
  4. Now that we have created the War Supplies : Invasion Force, what do we do with it?
  5. I don't know if it has been suggested before, I did a search of the forums but couldn't find it...here goes. I'd love to have a holostatue of my characters for placement in my stronghold. Is this possible? I know people have been asking to display old armorsets that they liked at one time, how about holostatues. Would it be possible to take a snapshot of my character as he/she stands now and place that within a stronghold. We could see our characters as their stories have progressed. I think it would be glorious. I don't know if it would be something that we'd have to achieve, or something that we'd purchase from the cartel market, or something that could be crafted by other players. A snapshot holostatue would be amazing in our strongholds though.
  6. I never took it as a joke, a dirty kick is a dirty kick to either sex, Droids are another matter entirely. Also Bleed effects seems to work on droids...hmmmm
  7. I understand what you are saying sir...and I agree. I am not complaining it's too hard, I am not complaining about unbalanced components. I am saying the learning curve is too steep to be thrown in with experienced players. Just as you said yourself...learning curve was steep for all of us. Imagine starting now, as a new player, what chance would you have to even learn the game. Also does Galactic Starfighter HAVE to be a PVP game? Could there be solo missions or non PVP team missions we could queue for until we learn it against progressively tougher AI, finally queuing up for PVP once we understand the dynamics? There must be a solution here. Tossing someone who has no idea of how this works in with people who have flown hundreds of times and expecting them to hold their own, and stay with the game is simply not being realistic. Galactic Starfighter will die unless something is done. It will become worse and worse over time with fewer and fewer new players until it's just a few really hard core guys flying over and over against each other.
  8. Hello, a few comments, the last poster really beat me to this. I agree wholeheartedly with him/her. The Original Poster did have some legitimate complaints. I have tried Galactic Starfighter myself, I didn't enjoy it, I would love to get into it, the learning curve it too steep, which by itself isn't bad as long as others were going through it with me, to have that steep a learning curve, and experts who have already mastered it, gives you no opportunities to improve your skills. The Devs here should find a way to tier this off. No newbies are going to join in, there simply is not a door for them to enter easily. The couple of posts here that give details about the game, might as well have been in Swahili, I couldn't make heads or tails of any of it, English would be nice rather than abbreviations, or Three Letter Acronymeese. To the DEVS out there Galactic Starfighter has a lot of potential it could be really great, tier it off, give new guys a change to enter and enjoy learning, it wouldn't be nearly so frustrating. You'd get lots of new players...which after all is what we need.
  9. Lafayette huh? Welcome to the thread. How long have you guys been playing? Give a little info about yourselves.
  10. For the better part of 3 years I think. I took a 6 month break in there but this seems to be the MMO for me. The Story lines hold me much better than most, plus being a Star Wars fan didn't hurt. I used to play Eve Online which is probably 180 deg off from SWTOR. SWTOR very story driven Eve no story at all, you make it, you are free to do everything you wan t to do, rob, steal, no place is safe from PVP and I did well but again with no story to drive it, it didn't hold me. I have played Eve on and off since 2006 I want to say, and that 6 month break I took from SWTOR was to go back to Eve because I really did miss it, but now I miss it less and less.
  11. That's correct I work in and around Lafayette. I am from Avery Island, just south of New Iberia.
  12. LOL yeah very cajun. My wife is a Thibodeaux ROFL! I play on Harbinger and yourself?
  13. I am from Avery Island La. About 20 miles south of Lafayette. (That's the time most people say "I didn't know there was anything 20 miles south of Lafayette") I have both republic and empire characters on Harbinger.
