I just submitted a ticket about this in-game as I didn't read anything about this change in the notes and others I've talked to said theirs still works like it used to. Glad to know I'm not to the only one I guess. All of a sudden my aug slots show a locked symbol and like you, now I need to use the station to add/remove the augments. I assumed this change happened with 6.0 but I've been away a while and wasn't sure if this was a change prior to this.

Was just wondering this as well. I wonder if they have some plan for them to be made available in some directly purchased way from the CM or something. They wouldn't do something like that though, would they?

I had a piece of Victorious Pioneer's gear set restored a couple weeks back, the Greaves piece. When they restored it for me, because I'm dumb and deleted it by mistake, it didn't show the set bonus on the piece. I equipped it, just tested it again after they sent me a 2nd response saying to equip it, and the XP is the same as before because it's no longer hitting the next tier for the xtra 15% XP. But, this happened literally 2 weeks ago and I'm on my 3rd ticket trying to get it resolved. And it's not a 252/258 armoring either. Is this possibly related to this issue?

I don't know. I'm not sure I'd plunk down that kinda money for an outfit by itself. Basically, for them to sell stuff individually in addition to offering them in the packs, I imagine they'd have to ask a pretty steep price. Now true, people who didn't want to buy it directly could still buy the crates/packs but having this option might change my desire to gamble for it. In this situation (without a direct purchase ability), these items could still be considered pretty rare and the cost I could charge on the GTN would validate this... but if people could just buy it outright, it could make the value plummet on the GTN so I wouldn't feel compelled to buy the packs. I think that makes sense but I just can't see how they could have both options work out simultaneously without affecting each other in some negative way. I think many people use the CM simply as a tool to get in-game credits and this could adversely affect the market - I think. And BW would feel it as well.

Thanks for having a calm response. I re-read what I wrote and came across rather rude and harsh so my apologies. And you have a valid point which I didn't consider. Sadly though I just can't see them changing since they're clearly raking in tons of money as it is and until they see it decline, they're in no position to change what seems to be working.

That's one of the big problems with these 'targeted' promotions. People might actually see the promotion in the launcher even though they weren't supposed to. On BW's end, they don't see the player as eligible for it yet the player sees the promo in the launcher. Player says they saw it, BW says they shouldn't have. I can't believe it would come down to something like that but in the end, it's the player's word against BW's and I don't know if they'd willingly 'give in' and just believe anyone who claims to have seen it. Either way, this has been handled very poorly overall with so little communication.

There isn't one. Never has been as the game wasn't designed to be played that way.

You say you don't mind spending the money and that you at least expect a decent chance to get what you want. Well you got the chance and didn't get it - you can still not get something even with a 99% chance. I'm all for discussing the mistakes they make with regards to the CM but this isn't one of them. All of these items can be listed on the GTN so no one is forced to buy them with real money. edit: I was quite a douche with the above message so my apologies now that I read it over again. Hopefully my point came across still but in a less jerk-ish kinda way.

Hrm... alright well yeah that makes sense I guess. I just see 'Cannot be interrupted' and then 'interrupted' when I use it so my brain is like... what the hell? Think that tooltip could use a rewrite.

This has been happening for years, I'm only now at the point where I figure I'm not understanding it correctly and wanting to ask for clarification.

On my Guardian, Blade Dance specifically states that it can't be interrupted but I've watched 3 times just now how it specifically does get interrupted from NPCs that I'm fighting. I'll start the ability and then something like a Killik on Alderaan will interrupt me and it shows 'interrupted' where the ability was channeling. Is the tooltip text wrong or am I missing something here? Same goes for my Jugg... Please ELI5 cause I'm not getting this.

Yeah logged in to find that all the work I did to complete that achievement was worth roughly 80k credits as that's what Gazebos were selling for on Harbinger. They've gone up since then but yeah... so much for having something exclusive.

It's on my Operative that's glitched. Just checked my Assassin and they're all at 10. Operative has played through Chapter IX and some of the comps are back but level 1 or 2. Assassin hasn't started the expansion yet so maybe that's why. Just saw that in the patch notes. Asked in-game and no one seemed affected by it. Glad it's not just me.

There have been so many thing I've read in the last week or two but I'm pretty sure my max affection companions were all supposed to convert to level 10 Influence, right? On my main, none of them are level 10. Did I read this wrong last week or is this something that's glitched? They're all level 1 yet on another character, they're all 10. I maxed them all on Imp side.

It's pretty amazing how many people supposedly only missed Early Access by a day. Everyone had something come up on one day that forced them to not resub and then remembered the following day. Basically, everyone is using that as an excuse and throwing the blame at EA/BW. It's pretty obvious now...

I guess the question I have, as well as many others I imagine, is that why wasn't there any type of warning in advance given? Reasons are good to have as to why it happened but that doesn't help the fact that it would have really cushioned the blow a good bit by letting people know about it like you did with materials being converted, etc.

I mean this in the most respectful way: Are you guys looking into actually fixing the issues this server continues to have or are you guys just addressing it as needed? Issues with this server have been going on for so long yet all you guys seem to do is rush to fix it if and when it needs it. Really needs some preventative measures to address this long ongoing problem.
