  1. Our group summons the repair droid immediately after Wookie Rage, unless we know there is a turret about to spawn. If that is the case then we will usually wait a bit and then summon the droid while shoot lasers is getting killed since there is usually enough time during the channel. If all else fails just have the off tank stand in front of shoot lasers and hope for the best. As for dps numbers our group usually gets around 3.8k dps if they are single target and our sorc that is on the turrets does 4.8k-5k dps. HAHAHAHA, best joke I have seen all day. But seriously I have seen him ignore a console for a healer many times before. In my group I am the first on the panel and the droid is only summoned after the first Wookie Rage (it's pretty hard to stuff up the first one) and I have had him bug many many times on me.
  2. Basically for doing questing scrapper/concealment is a much better option. You always want to dot the targets up and then cull them until they are dead (obviously it is a bit more complicated then that but you get the point). The problem with that as you noted is that the target is usually dead by the time that happens so it isn't really practical. The spec is only really good if a target lasts longer then 20 seconds, otherwise it just takes too long to kill groups of enemies. For PvP and Ops/Flashpoints though it is very good spec where long fights are the norm.
  3. You can stun them in force speed. Guaranteed to stop a sorc in their tracks. BAM Counterplay! But seriously, just because something is in the game doesn't mean that it has no counterplay. Heaps of classes have similar abilities that make them immune to roots and slows, Sorcs aren't alone in this. No one takes that point since there are many more useful utilities that you can pick up before that one. At this point it looks like you are looking through the sorc skill trees and naming abilities that are remotely strong so you can complain about them.

    Nerf Sorcs.

I have seen every class do that at one time or another. Sorcs are no different.
  5. Because it doesn't affect operatives, mercenaries or sorcerers at all who also can't use their raid buffs ...
  6. I was doing Oricon on my undergeared sorc when I decided to test it. That doesn't make the results any less conclusive.
  7. Yes it does, I thought it didn't do it once either so I checked it using combat logging and I was getting the expected heals. I did a test where I went to Oricon and hit a 5 man Death Field on the mobs and according to the logs I got 5x 512 heals at the same time. So it is the green numbers that are bugged and not the move.
  8. When talented with 2 in incisive action, injection is a 2 second cast and infusion is a 1.5 second cast. It has been like that since before 2.0. The only thing they changed for infusion in 2.0 was the heal amount (from all upfront to upfront and a hot) and the cooldown, the cast time never changed. So with the exception of the cooldown added, the changes to infusion were only positive.
  9. The old infusion was awful. It was a heal that used more resources than kolto injection, healed less, and only had a half a second less cast time. It was basically a worse version of surgical probe. As for lethality changes I would like to see some changes with the fatality talent. If it effect could be changed to "makes your next cull free and not require TA" and it's chance to proc was changed to "60% from shiv and 100% from weakening blast" it would help with a couple of different things. The change in the effect of the proc would allow cull to be used when at 0 TA, and the proc from weakening blast would allow for a cull to be used at medium range on a reasonably long cooldown. It would also clear the issue of proc dry spells you can get in a long PvE encounter.
  10. I think that Bioware have gone overzealous with their buffs and sentinels, vanguards and shadows are hitting to hard. It appears that the target dps level for this gear tier is 4100-4200, but classes sitting at 4300 is a bit too absurd. Closing the gap between the classes doesn't just mean bringing the lowest up, it also means bringing the top down.
  11. WTB 18k hit on max expertise target.
  12. Take all your gear off and compare it then. You might have more datacrons or something like that. (stim?)
  13. I am glad the old stim boost is gone and will never come back again. But I must admit it would be pretty funny with the current skill tree.
  14. For PvE content all 3 skill trees are good (both dps and heals) but scrapper is usually considered the best for raw damage output. However on some bosses dirty fighting is superior. In pvp heals is good, scrapper is pretty decent and dirty fighting is average.
  15. When I get on demand 12k crits at this gear tier then it will need to be nerfed. However the class doesn't have that at all so no nerf needs to happen.
  16. Heavy armour is 200% stronger then light armour so there is still quite a considerable difference. However when they have 4 stacks of their force lightning damage reduction and dark ward activated they are as tanks as the other classes.
  17. Wait 60 years and your opponents will die of old age, problem solved. Heals are fine, learn to dps
  18. Focus spec, as you can easily nuke groups of mobs.
  19. It would be nice if you could respec in the time before the game starts but it is locked out after that. You would have the best of both worlds then without having to worry about people changing specs mid game to better defend a node.
  20. That isn't true. Right now Deception Sins are right where they should be for PvP performance, high burst moments interspersed with periods of low damage. And I have seen 10k last hits on masterstrike before, so it isn't like a guardian can't put out some really high numbers either.
  21. I have a nagging feeling that Malgus isn't a high end boss, considering he was incredibly easy pre 2.0 as well
  22. I was almost inclined to take the OP seriously until he started complaining about operative survivability. I guess you mean operative healer because operative dps is arguably the squishiest class in the game. Also if Sins are hitting you with only 8k mauls then you are lucky, try playing a sage, scoundrel or slinger where more often then not it is 9-10k crits and not 7-8k.
  23. One was an execute only so it was fair back then.
