Restarting did not help me. And to even load this browser I had to force close the title screen. So now I will need to restart again. I didn't resubscribe yesterday to have the game not actually load.

That's a step backwards. Is group finder now forcing all roles like other older games? Also a step backwards. The result of requiring all groups to have a tank for example in Elder Scrolls Online is "fake tanking", players picking tank in group finder when they are actually DPS. The healer and the DPSes may vote to remove the fake tank but then they have to wait for another player and hope they are a real tank, Of course tanking in ESO isnt';the same as SWTOR tanking, less about taunting foes and more about debuffing them.

I still hoping that at some point saboteur's betray the Major to the Republic or the Jedi to the Empire. I want romanced companions to discover the betrayal and there to be consequences. I would actually like it saboteurs were found out had had to abandon the Alliance..

They are going to break the game. You don't change the games core mechanics 10 years later/. I just saw in the developers thread that its only going affect new characters, so seems to me they know it will break the game if they implant if fully.

If you are female jedi knight and married Doc you had your wedding on screen. If you are a male sith warrior and married Vette you had your wedding, off camera. If you are crazy enough to romance Koth you have to no his heart belongs to Lana not you. He asks you to a bad meal. No proposal.

Elder Scrolls Online has a nice little feature as you increase your skills your horse (I dont know if this applies to other mountas as I only have horses) gets better gear. Riding takes much longer to increase as you have to visit a stable once a day for like 3 months.. And once you have completed mastery riding skll to max speed than you work on stamina (resisting attacks as you ride through mobs) and carrying cargo (increasing your personal inventory). As you increase those levels your horse gets different things like it may get armor on its legs or saddle bags. You dont aactually have to do it in any particular order you good do ridning one day and stamina next and cargo next but to start with speed is most important. While each mount is available to all your characters each character has to do their own leveling. I currently have two different horses. I also have two pet cats and two pet dogs. The cats meow the dogs bark. And if your idle they find things to do like rolle around in the grass. Or maybe climb the furniture. When you set your mounts and/or pets in your free apartment or the house you bought they can be set to wander around not just stand still. So I have cat walking around before taking a nap on my bed. I think it looks silly to have a horse in your apartment, only rome for one but you can do it.

What race do you want to play (9 come with game 1 is extra) What class do you want to play (4,5,6 depending on which DLC content you purchased) ? What armor do you want to wear ? Every character can wear, light, medium or heavy armor in any combination. And they each protect from different forms of attack, have different strengths and weakness.. Light is more resistant to magic but weak to physical attacks. Heavy strongest against weapons but weakest against magic.. What weapons do you prefer? You might think a sword and shield is best for your tank but you may want healing staff. At level 15 you gain ability to alternate between two skill sets and most guides seem to suggest that if you are tanking the second set be with healing staff. but they have different variations on the first.

On the one hand WOW makes old raids soloable. On the other hand the final update of the current expansion is going to be a raid which wont be. What I find really strange, I think after 15 years they're bored, most players seem to want he evil side bent on wiping out the universe to win. Elder Scrolls Online is designed to "play your way". Of course that doesn't stop elitist end game players from trying to insist there is only 1 way to tank, 1 way to heal or 1 way to DPS for each class and you better have chosen the 'right" race.

So going to tell us either than Legacy of the Sith will be out for Christmas or that they were premature out they are not going to make ""Holiday 2021", that they meant "Holiday 2022". Whenever it comes it will probably break the game and I'll just stick with ESO. . I was never in the group that thought changing how classes work was a good idea and everything I've heard about it sounds bad. IF SWTOR was like ESO from the start, every class can wear every type of armor, use every weapon and fulfill every role, tank, healer or dps hat would be one thing, but trying to change things 9 (almost 10) years in is is very very bad idea. If you want classes not locked into a given weapon set make a new game.

I am already exploring WOW (which is not dead but may be killed off by Blizzard's legal troubles) and Elder Scrolls Online both of which have far more content so much so some one wrote an ESO new player guide explain how to play the game in story order for new players who want to learn the lore in proper order.

Galactic Season rewards enough gifts to reach level 50 one one character. per legacy. You need him level 50 on multiple characters why? There are way too many companions as it is. WOW each class can in Legion expansion have 1 companion following them around but only in Legion content. Some work better than others. The Demon Hunter companion almost always shows up after I have wiped out an army to claim "I have your back", My enemies are all dead at my fight as Demon Hunter tank is virtually unkillable at least in Legion which is what it was created for, but thanks. The druid one appears during a fight and likes to shout thinks like "Never challenge nature's guardians" or "No match for OUR power" as if he was your equal which he isn't but let him think so. Elder Scrolls online has two, one male and one female, I don't have that expansions so have no experience of them. BTW its slow but you can level him by sending him on gathering and crafting missions.

Stop it. WOW is alive and well thank you. These days I spend most of my time in WOW or ESO. IF WOW dies it will because of Blizzard's legal troubles not because the game at all. Sadly the article seems to put an end to any hope of returning to class missions.

Its still broken for saboteurs. So I cannot advance my saboteurs until its fixed.

I have tried FFXIV. I cannot understand it actually having fans. Its dull dull dull. WOW I like, and ESO which is most flexible game I ever played . Every class can DPS, or heal or Tank. I still cannot wrap my head around plate wearing magic users or cloth wearing knights.

No QT? THat must have been first months when I wasn't playing.. Since I started QT was a thing but you initially had to find and click on every quick travel point, just as you had to click on eveyr taxi. Now most (not all) quick travel spot are available as soon as you are in the zone. I also remember actually having to level up for the next plant by doing all the side missions and heroics actually needing 2 or 4 people.

I actually liked giving my old armor and weapons to companions. I also used to never leave starter world until I got myself and first companion the planetary token armor. which was better than any quest reward armor on the planet. Used to pass the heritage armor piece on two new toons so they could get a better weapon. I am playing WOW and listening the veterans complain about how easy us newbies have it. in that game now. "You can fly when I had to grind reputation to unlock flying" Thats still true in some parts of the game where they can fly and I am grounded. SWTOR doesn't need flying because it has all those Quick travel points which WOW lacks,'

Gus is in fact a Jedi in training/. He isn't your standard Jedi but then neither are Nadia or Jaease. No one commented on the fact that a female player Jedi who gives into Doc the first time gets darkside points. But not the second time. While a male Jedi receives no darkside points for seducing Kira. That is what is sexist. On the other hand, Doc actually marries your female Jedi. on screen. Sith warrior supposedly marries Vette but its off camera. Otherwise no one else actually has a wedding, they only talk about it happening at some point. On Bounthy Hunter, Maco just slices into all the dataases and lists you as married.
