  1. All of these elitist l2p posts remind me of WoW five years ago.
  2. Not insults, observations on his personality. He's condescending and overbearing in every thread and tries to browbeat people into submission with "facts" with nothing to back them up. I don't like the guy, he doesn't contribute anything constructive to any thread he posts in, and he's just a generally abrasive person. Sue me.
  3. Or just get your Sentinel of VG buddy to rip him a new one.
  4. I rerolled to The Fatman a couple weeks ago, so I'm not sure about level 50 PvP, but there is a VERY healthy amount of world PvP leveling up. Most of the Imps, like Azrael said, are pretty bad (at least that I've encountered).
  5. I think Annex summed it up nicely above me. Until you provide some proof of owning Operatives 100% of the time you're just barking, little dog. Find the best (or one of the best) Operatives on your server, take some footage of you dominating him 100% of the time, then come back here and prove me wrong. Until then, keep barking, little dog.
  6. I'm also curious about this. I kind of doubt it's possible though, otherwise other developers would have already done so to save or resuscitate their own dying games.
  7. Okay, so despite the fact that the developers themselves have said that SWTOR is a story-based PvE focused game and that they didn't realize PvP was going to be as popular as it is and they weren't prepared for it... You're still willing to sit here and argue that it's a PvP MMO? Because BioWare pretty much said that PvP was tacked on to compliment the PvE side of the game. Kind of like space combat, which also sucks.
  8. Yet you have no proof that you're right. At this point you're just coming off as an arrogant blowhard. Until you post videos of you "owning" Operatives 100% of the time all of your claims hold about as much water as a sieve.
  9. I never got to participate in Ilum, but I can only imagine. BioWare made some bad decisions and the worst one was a shoddy engine. It's the basis for the entire game and without a good engine (or even a passable engine) there's no way to have any kind of meaningful PvP or RvR in a game.
  10. Whining implies that I somehow care about your hilariously narcissistic sense of self worth based entirely on your perceived superiority over other people in a video game with no real world implications at all. You're like one of those little lap dogs with a big bark and no bite. You talk a big game, but I don't recall seeing any streams or even videos of your play.
  11. I'm not even sure what that's supposed to mean. But congratulations on being renowned on the SWTOR forums... For being a giant DB.
  12. Limitations on the number of players that the engine can reasonably draw before bogging down. Big battles between hundreds (or even dozens) aren't likely to happen, from my understanding. Just like how Mythic promised epic city battles with hundreds and hundreds of players in WAR and wasn't able to deliver.
  13. I don't understand how someone can have such an over-inflated ego when it comes to a video game. Outside of these forums and this game, nobody is ever going to give two shakes at how awesome you are at The Old Republic. The good news is you'll eventually inherit your grandma's house and you won't have to live in the basement anymore.
  14. I feel like you should just make this your sig, since it shows up in just about every single post you make.
  15. Agreed. I can't really argue too much about the first three on the list, but Gunslinger/Sniper blows Sorc/Sage away. Literally and figuratively.
  16. They have some of the best burst damage in the game. They can put amazing pressure on healers. A well played Sniper/Gunslinger is no fun to go up against.
  17. What? Are you for real? Snipers and Gunslingers are about as anti-melee as you can get. In fact, unless the Sniper or Gunslinger is brain dead or asleep at the keyboard, they shouldn't lose to a melee class one on one. In fact, Snipers and Gunslingers are one of the only hard counters to Sentinels and Marauders.
  18. Sniper at the bottom? Really? Not sure if trolling, drunk, or oblivious.
  19. Like Pokemon? You mean like Pokemon, right?
  20. is all I could think of when I read the title.
  21. If I had $300 mil I'd buy an island and forget about SWTOR.
  22. Which PvP MMO are we discussing, because SWTOR is clearly not a PvP MMO? It's a story-driven PvE MMO with PvP tacked on as an afterthought.
  23. Alright, I see what's happening here: You don't understand what data is. The server list is not data. The server list is a list of servers with general information on server capacity. The information from TOR Status and from EA specifically detailing the number of subscriptions they currently have IS data.
