  1. I was going to stream this game today, I'm just starting out as a streamer. How am I meant to do anything if the WHOLE GAME is taken offline for this long, all to fix one stupid little mount that, what, maybe a dozen people have tried to use? I will have to reconsider if I want to remain subbed to this game if I pay money and then cannot play it when I like.
  2. I've been away from SWTOR for some time, having grown bored of repeating the same content. Now, I heard some good things about Onslaught, so I re-installed and re-subscribed. The first parts of Onslaught are decent, even well-written story elements with missions that feel new and unique. Certainly better than the other add-ons. I actually found myself enjoying the game again. Then I saw that the story includes a mandatory flashpoint. Flashpoints are great if you're a lazy writer. Just put loads of enemies that don't even threaten the player in their way, slow them down a bit. Then, just stick an OP droid in the middle of the level, who despite being virtually immune to the powers of the dark side, still needs half an army's worth of support. To top off the tedium, don't forget to add two powerful Jedi to the mix - no-one will see THAT coming! Overall, I did enjoy the content, until the mandatory Flashpoint, which adds nothing to the game and is just an incredibly boring re-hash of the same old content. I feel I've wasted my time, and my money. Good job, Bioware. :|
  3. I joined and play SWTOR as part of the Dark Jedi Brotherhood, an online Star Wars fan club. Aside from ToR gaming, we also play a whole host of other games, as well as write fiction, make graphics, and, above all, have a lot of fun as part of an active Star Wars community. http://join.djb.club/hHzujn7
  4. This is a horrible, horrible fight. Valkorion's father gets thrown off an edge very, very early on by the most OP attack I've ever seen in a game, usually even before Arcann dies (how was he Emperor for so long? Vaylin's about a dozen times more powerful!) Fights that are this hard just make me likely to bin my subscription again.
  5. The AI resorting to cheating when it's losing. During the final fight against Vaylin, I was winning, so the AI took exception to this and threw me off an edge that I was nowhere near. It then reset Vaylin's health, and a bunch of new Skytroopers and Horizon Guards were teleported in from nowhere. This isn't a challenge for the right reason. It's simply abusing game mechanics.
  6. So I cannot seem to defeat the Skytrooper Constructor. The problem is not that I don't know what to do. No matter what I do, the Constructor teleports to whichever of the four panels I happen to be furthest from. Additionally, my character runs about as fast as a wounded Hutt, and simply cannot reach any of the panels in time. Is this because my PC is barely above the minimum specs? Is there something I'm missing here? It's impossible to complete without being able to second guess where the Constructor is going.
  7. This smacks of being too lazy to fix something. Can we just get Lokin for free, please? I wasted credits on gathering the stuff to get him to influence 10. Seriously considering junking my subscription. I don't play for staff to refuse to do their jobs.
  8. What the title says I don't want to trek around forever in the snow for some hunter. Why can't I just kill him/refuse him? Same for the Warzones guy.
  9. This happened to me too. I posted a ticket in game but it's not been answered in over 2 weeks.
  10. This mission is ridiculous, quite simply. For a start, my character, a Sith Sorcerer, would simply have told Qyzen to join her or die. Secondly, there's nowhere near enough targets, especially thanks to people camping. This and the warzone mission ask far too much in exchange for far too little.
