  1. As an update here. I found doing some testing the following: If I have one Relic AND one other piece like say an Ear at 338, I was getting either an ear or a relic as expected. If I have only a relic at 338 and everything else is 340, I was getting some random piece and not a relic. If I have both relics at 338 and all other gear at 340 I am getting a relic as expected. I'm 8/8 on this so I doubt it is random luck at this point.
  2. The original post does seem a big vague, so I am not sure precisely what they want, but I came here looking for an existing suggestion to increase the mission limit. I generally like to complete all missions, but I do not often have time to find groups for some that require it, or have time to complete the ops quickly. This will result in a number of long running quests in my log, like the Vehicle missions from the fleet, Training and Skills (which I've not decided on yet), Seeker Droid, Shroud, And when I encounter a story based operation during play through like Iokath, and Oricon, I may pick those up and hold them for when I do get a chance to finish them. As a result characters often have 10-12 missions that may be longer term. Then If I want to run FPs, WZ, GSF, or even a daily heroic set on a planet those add in. Today however I tried to grab the Ruhnuk daily, weekly, heroics. there are 15 missions on thus planet. That is enough to tax even the barest of mission hoarders. Please consider increasing the mission limit to 30 or 35 or more.
  3. I'm also very annoyed by this. This has hit me MANY times since 7.4 dropped
  4. I do like this in addition to have an indicator on the icon itself and the destroy warning.
  5. I was about to make a suggestion about allowing me to sort by Gift Type, then Gift Rank, in my hold. But your suggestion is SO much nicer.
  6. I would love to see an indicator in the inventory screen that would help show which items in inventory are affiliated with a loadout. I have a few characters with multiple sets of gear for diverse roles. When not in those roles, the gear from those loadouts is of course in inventory. When switching between them, if it is 1 to 1 sets of gear it is pretty good at putting them back where they belong and you can keep them pretty organized. It starts to get messy with a 3rd or 4th set and it drops these items on switching in 1st available slots. This makes reorganizing a little tedious, but worse is that its really easy to accidently destroy something if you are not very careful. If items on loadouts will continue to reside in inventory, please add some visual indicator that it is part of a loadout gear set. Additionally it would be nice to have it warn you that you are about to destroy/disassemble something that is tied to a loadout and get a confirmation.
  7. I'm also having memory issues with the game quickly growing in size from starting at 2.1GB to up 25GB. The exact number varies by how long its been running. or what I am doing. Restarting the game seems to reset it but it can climb within minutes to that values sometimes. I was basically sitting on the fleet talking to Zeke during this time and messing with gear. Additional Info: I also tried running in LOW graphics and other settings but the problem persisted regardless. I'm running an older system, i5-4690, 32GB RAM, GTX 960. Prior to the patch I would run consistently on Ultra or High and only lower to like medium if I was doing a laggy world boss in a large group, most times leaving it high or ultra with nameplates off was enough though. Additional update: a guild member reported memory issues as well
  8. Mine continues to be stuck with the Host_windowloadtimeout error 3 months later. I’ve been playing via steam, it is not ideal as I don’t love having to launch it through steam, but it works. I have not heard anything from dev since they requested logs from me in may.
  9. I have completed this request. Note: I have sent this in my original support ticket as well. Edit: Thanks for continuing to look into the issue.
  10. Players are unable to close the system alert when logging into the game The launcher is looping Players are seeing a Host_windowLoadtimeout error message I am getting the "Host_windowLoadtimeout error message" As I indicated previously, setting compatibility mode on the launcher.exe to windows 8 does not fix the issue. My scenario swtor/retailclient/swtor.exe does not exist because I uninstalled and the installer adds only the launcher which will not run to install the rest of the game.
  11. The scenario where it doesn't popup the Host_WindowLoadTimeout there might be an error in the windows application event log about: Faulting application name: launcher.exe_Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher, version: 6.1.2.80, time stamp: 0x63d3414e Faulting module name: libcef.dll, version: 103.0.11.0, time stamp: 0x62bf8a9a Exception code: 0x80000003 Fault offset: 0x06691afe Faulting process id: 0x1014 Faulting application start time: 0x01d982f6856702ca Faulting application path: E:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\launcher.exe Faulting module path: E:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\libcef.dll Report Id: eb14e273-4a1f-4b58-9e74-abb35cf9cf6d Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: That's what mine does when the popup is missing.
  12. Just as a FYI, support specifically told me to turn off compatibility mode on the launcher. Setting it on or off doesn't resolve my current Host_WindowLoadTimeout issue.
  13. I have resorted to installing the Steam version of the client and am able to log in and run that without any problems. I just prefer not to run it in Steam because it is extra weight I do not want. If I can eventually resolve my Host_WindowLoadTimeout issue I plan on switching back to the stand alone version.
  14. I am one of the people who are seeing the Host_WindowLoadTimeout error message. I'll assume you mean stopping the launcher (before it crashes), since the game never starts, with task manager. I have tried: 1. run launcher, crashes with Host_windowLoadtimeout, restart computer, run launcher, crashes with Host_windowLoadtimeout 2. uninstall, restart computer, download installer, install, run launcher, crashes with Host_windowLoadtimeout 3. uninstall, restart computer, download installer, install, restart computer, run launcher, crashes with Host_windowLoadtimeout 4. remove all AppData related to SWTOR or BioWare, restart, run repair install (or install; multiple tests), restart, run launcher, crashes with Host_windowLoadtimeout 5. launcher, kill all SWTOR apps in task manager (there are three) before they crash, restart, run launcher, crashes with Host_windowLoadtimeout And many other combinations, of uninstall, install, repair, restart, run launcher, clicking system tray to make it hang, and so on. So far there has been no impact on the crashes with Host_windowLoadtimeout. I have submitted the launcher log and dxdiags to support on my ticket (#39126928).
  15. My log looks the same, but weirdly is appearing on locallow instead of local.
  16. Thank you so much for this update. I appreciate that you are still trying to help. Please ask if I can provide more help or debugging info.
  17. I did find I am getting a log at: AppData\LocalLow\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher\host.developer.log. The end of this log contains the following: 05/09/2023 16:12:45 INFO - CEF 103.0.11+gb1e93e1+chromium-103.0.5060.114 05/09/2023 16:12:45 DEBUG - Crash reporting enabled 05/09/2023 16:12:45 DEBUG - Failed to localize (STAR WARS™: The Old Republic™) 05/09/2023 16:12:45 DEBUG - WorkflowManager - Overall Progress - -2.00 (0)
  18. Thanks for the tips. Unfortunately this still did not work for me.
  19. Downloading the Installer from the link, running the Repair, did not correct my issues. I also tried Remove, then Install When launching the launcher now I get the following error on Windows 10 Pro 22H2. The launcher appears in the system tray, but never opens then crashes out of the system tray. Faulting application name: launcher.exe_Star Wars - The Old Republic Launcher, version: 6.1.2.80, time stamp: 0x63d3414e Faulting module name: libcef.dll, version: 103.0.11.0, time stamp: 0x62bf8a9a Exception code: 0x80000003 Fault offset: 0x06691afe Faulting process id: 0x3a6c Faulting application start time: 0x01d982a1bb754978 Faulting application path: E:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\launcher.exe Faulting module path: E:\Program Files (x86)\Electronic Arts\BioWare\Star Wars - The Old Republic\libcef.dll Report Id: 8c9db9e2-3343-417f-9529-c15a6e984554 Faulting package full name: Faulting package-relative application ID: EDIT: For me it is inconsistent whether I get the app log error with no screen error or the Host_WindowLoadTimeout on screen error but no app log error.
  20. I have tried compatibility, resetting json files, and repairing the game (downloaded the installer), uninstall and reinstall and so far nothing has worked.
  21. This also happened to me this morning. Clicking the launcher results in a long delay followed by an error message "Host_WindowLoadTimeout".
  22. I did some testing and this only appears to happen when I am in tank spec with VG or BH.
  23. The pose happens to me no matter where I log in (stronghold, flagship, fleet, planet) with no training dummies near by. Neither character (PT/BH both tank spec) had switched specs originally (though the PT now has operative and has switched back and forth, but the issue happens only when logging in as PT).
