  1. Screaming_Ziva or anyone, can you tell me what gloves the merc Cordanya is wearing?
  2. Are you absolutely sure people are leaving the game because of slow queue times or are they leaving because of other reasons and you're just saying it's queue times to fit your narrative? I am not saying that you're wrong, because you could very well be right, but I'd like to see some evidence to backup your claims. I also like how you went from "demanding" another server merge to playing the victim in one of your replies because PvE'ers & RP'ers do not want their game play experience to impacted the way you want it to. I am not saying PvE'ers & RP'ers aren't toxic because you will find toxicity in any parts of a game, but I have ran into WAY more toxicity from the PvP community than I ever have from the other two communities. I just resubbed this month. I have been here since day one. I sub when the mood strikes me and take a leave when need be, but I always try to stay up-to-date on what is happening with the game when I am away by reading the forums, SWTOR Reddit, and etc. During my time playing SWTOR, I have been a PvE & PvP player. I like to think of myself as equal parts both as I do not do one more than the other, but since I have been back I have not ventured into a warzone. The reason being is because I am unfamiliar with the new maps(Yavin, Odessen, new Huttball, and etc.) that have been introduced and do not want to encounter any toxicity if I "mess" up. I am not the greatest PvP player by any means, but I am a team player(I call incoming if guarding a node, I assist when a call for help goes out if not guarding, avoid going 1v1, mark & pressure healers, and etc.) who plays the objectives to help the team to succeed, but I see so much toxicity on fleet from PvP'ers against others that it makes me not want to even be a part of it. I can't speak much on solo & group ranked PvP as I have never done those and never will because that seems more toxic than regular PvP. Sorry for going off on a "tangent." I'm just one player, but until I am given evidence that people are leaving because slow queue times I am going to side with the PvE & RP communities on this topic because my experience tells me people are not PvP'ing or leaving the game because of other reasons.
  3. I'm not even going to lie, I did not read your post past the first few sentences because it is WAYYYYY too long. TLDR would be helpful next time. I know people have their things that they are passionate about, but dude/dudette, it is only a game. It is not that serious. I can't say I'm a fan of fighting with the "enemy" either, but if it gets people into matches faster and keeps queues popping, is that really a bad thing?
  4. Hahaha! Since my return, I've basically started over with new character since most of my old characters lost their names. I've toyed with the idea of maining a PT, but have been reading how bad their defenses are. I do not go for OP classes at all, but I do not want to play something that will frustrate me either. Might still do it anyways, but yeah, EAWare, this is a +1 for me too. EDIT: Nothing against sorcs/sages, but I'm here for the PTs!
  5. I can get behind this idea. Can't lie, I have been wanting to play a double-bladed lightsaber wielding guardian or juggernaut since beta!
  6. What are you (going) on about? You're talking about a situation that is not even being discussed in this thread. The OP did not spend real world money on the CM. At least, it was not mentioned that they did. The OP brought something, that is advertised on the CM or that you originally get from the CM or cartel packs, that was on the GTN with in-game credits. The OP is talking about companions being nude and them not wanting them to wear the same sets they wear (not sure why, but I'm not the OP), companions not using the same weapons as they remember (this one confused me too when I returned, but I adapted and moved on), and a lightsaber they purchased from the GTN with in-game credits that is "missing". So, again, what are you (going) on about?
  7. I am not claiming to be a PvP god, nor am I saying that you're claiming to be the same, but I find it nice that not all classes can do everything. You say 3 juggs could not kill 1 operative, but 3 operatives can kill 1 jugg. Me personally, I do not see a problem with that. I find it fun to go into a match not knowing the team compositions and finding ways to overcome team "limitations". Sometimes you do and win, sometimes you do not, but that is joy in for me. I think PvP would be pretty boring if every class could do everything at once.
  8. I'm just here to read the comments, laugh at the OP, and eat popcorn! *passes popcorn to the left*
  9. Okay. But the way you're going about voicing your displeasure is not going to help you get your concerns noticed. Instead of voicing your concerns intelligently, you come across as, equal parts, whiny and trolling. Maybe that's how you want to be portrayed, I don't know.
  10. I am going to readily assume you're trolling, but on the off chance you're not, I have to ask, "Why are here/subbed?" It seems you dislike this game so much that if I were you, I would not care how badly my friends needed help raiding, I wouldn't return. Also, I have never played KOTOR and despite all the accolades it has received, I have no interested what so ever in playing it.
  11. I could not agree more AlrikFassbauer. I have been back in game for about 2 months now and have been very apprehensive about getting back to into PvP'ing. I used to PvP a lot before I took some time away from the game a few years ago. I would like to get back in it, but have been apprehensive because of some PvP'er attitudes. I was never the best PvP'er, but played objectively, was a team player, called inc if I node guarding, and etc. I also see people asking people to join Ranked and I know I will never join that part of PvP ever!
  12. Even if they did that, someone would min/max it and then you'd be back to square one. If you what you're proposing even gives a slight "advantage" min/maxers will find it, use it, and then others will follow suit.
  13. I was on Time Warner, but now I'm on Spectrum due to their buyout of Time Warner. I think some of my problem may stem from me using WiFi instead of ethernet, but I noticed this issue yesterday. I randomly go from 4 bars to 2 bars to red. It happens mostly when I'm fighting something, but it does happen when I'm just standing there doing nothing. Been trying to find solutions to fix this and the only one I've come up with is to go wired instead of wireless to play the game. If anyone has any other solutions, I'd love to hear them.
  14. And what makes you think you're relevant? And you wonder why RP'ers act like they do to non-RP'ers like what the OP described in his original post. OP, you should not have been treated that way. Like you mentioned, courtesy works both way and if you were respecting them, they should return that same respect. I do not RP, but unlike NickEmory, I offer them respect in the way they choose to play/enjoy the game and that same courtesy should've been extended to you.
  15. Hello Star Forge. Early launch player that has been away from the game for a couple years is looking for a guild. I'd prefer Pubs since they are smaller side and I need to complete all the class stories on that side, but will play Emps if you have an active, friendly guild. I'm interested in PvE & (reg) PvP. I do not RP, but am kind, courteous, and friendly to those that do as Ebon Hawk was my main server before the mergers.
  16. Bought the Revered Master's Set, but got my eye on: Secret Agent Armor Havoc Squad Armor Malgus Armor And a few more armor sets who names escape me now. I've never been one to give EA extra money, but I think in this instance I will.
  17. I'm not sure if this line is a joke or not? EA could learn something from NCSoft? HAHAHA! NCSoft is just as bad as EA, but I'm going to continue to let you think otherwise.
  18. I've been reading these threads about these companions since they announced giving them away again and BRKMSN, you have been a part of the vocal group voicing your displeasure with this decision. Dude/dudette, they are only pixels. When SWTOR inevitably shuts down, and make no mistake it will shutdown some day, those pixels will be gone. It's really not as big a deal as you & some others are making it out to be. Just be happy for the ones who are being given a chance to acquire them and try to move on because in the grand scheme of things, it's not that big of a deal. Also, you expected loyalty from EA? A company that has been voted the worst company I do not know how many years straight? They value your money, not you! You have every right to feel special, but EA does not care about your personally, only the money you spend.
  19. I'm generally a lurker when it comes to the forums, but wow you're an angry person. Why do you care what people spend their money on? Just because you choose to not buy CCs, CM items, or whatnot with your money, does not give you the right to call people names because they spend their money differently than you. It's their money, not yours, so let them spend their money however they see fit.
  20. Hello JC, Firstly, let me apologize for this post because with the announcement of 90CC to transfer toons, I'm sure you're going to be seeing a number of these posts, but I wanted to know how the Republic side of this server? I play mostly Imperial side now on another server, and thinking of moving here Republic side permanently. A little about me: -Mainly a PvE player, but I dabble in PvP. Not the greatest PvP'er, but I know the basics and nuances of PvP. Mainly do it to break up the monotony of PvE. -A tank(ing) player mostly. -Interested in eventually moving into endgame raiding, casually/for fun. (I won't be transferring alone as my girlfriend will be moving here with me. She's a healer, so if anyone has any guild suggestions, feel free to leave them here also. Thank you in advance for any and all information.)
  21. The reason people are suggesting PT/VG is because they are the easier of 3 tanking classes to learn. Their rotations are simple, they have less buttons to push usually, and they are fairly straightforward and easy to use from the beginning.
  22. LuxDragon is referring to this part in your original post Trevallian. If you were doing Cademimu, there's no way the guy could've been a sentinel, is what LuxDragon is saying.
  23. PM me an extra code someone if you have one laying around. Thanks!
  24. If someone has a spare code laying around they'd be willing to give, I'll take it.
