  1. Wanting to RP with a Devaronian, I had to make a Sith and add in a backstory to explain the loss of his horns. OK, that was fun, but why not sell a Devaronian headpiece? That would allow others to create a species at little cost to the developers. Then, chatting with a friend, we thought of other modifications that might be done either as "armour" or, perhaps, on the appearance customisation system that would allow you create your own alien. For example, long tusks. If you can put a toothpick in a character's mouth, why not tusks? Who wouldn't love to run a sabertoothed Cathar? Weird eyes, ears, etc. A headpiece of writhing snakes ala Medusa? Even thinking of it has brought joy to my heart. Pretty please? At least the horns!
  2. Love the format and the things on sale. I especially like the cape/no cape option. So many times I've fallen for an armour set but been deterred by a single feature that was a deal-breaker, almost always either a hood or a OTT shoulder pad. Anything you do to make those optional would be greatly appreciated. I know I'm far from alone in wishing them away to suit my characters better.
  3. While we are on the subject, I understand that the e-motes that are unavailable but visible on the menu are relics of by-gone special offers. Might they be made available again?
  4. I also have HK and enjoyed the bit of story that granted his company. I'm all for letting people have access to it! It was a fun little chapter, and it would be a pity for it to go to waste. Personally, it wouldn't bother me in the least if it was just made available to all--other people's enjoyment doesn't dent mine. After all, early access is often given as a reward in this game, and it's been one hell of a long period of early access! But making it a reward for six months or even a year as a subscriber would seem to please those who feel a bit cheated, so by all means do that! Just don't let it go to waste. No one is served by that.
  5. I so agree with a GSF training area--one that allows you to try and hit rapidly moving targets. I've never got the hang of that and really don't like holding my group back while I learn. That said, I am looking forward to 6.0! I love how you are giving your players an increasingly active role in the creation of the game we play. The ability to tweak our gear to suit our style sounds wonderful! I've watched as each new patch adds something to the game--better graphics, more depth of characterisation (yes, Darth Malgus, I'm looking at you), and surprising "throw-away" things to discover such as a bird's nest with eggs or an unexpected loot chest in an area on Ossus where few players would ever be. Not to mention the ability to design personal PvP areas, transform into a Wookie or a Hutt (temporarily) or permanently become a Nautolan (high on my wish list). I think you are doing wonderful things, indeed, and am confident September will exceed my already high expectations. Speaking of tweaking gear, I have one request. A covert head armour piece. If you can make hoods disappear with a narrow head band, why not with an invisible one? Oh! and an e-mote for leaning against something with arms crossed. We will get the hang of it just as we learn to sit on chairs. These little things would mean a lot!
  6. A certain Darth whom I have to take as my companion while on Ossus Imp side refuses to heal even if set to that. OK, it's in character, but.... While on Ossus, either side, I understand that, while doing the class story, I am restricted to your choice of companion. But why can't I have the others gathering and/or crafting at that time? But I also want to say I've really enjoyed the story on both sides. The NPC characterisations are well crafted and worked into the story. The area is so intriguing that I am not using my mounts so I can check it all out in detail. Well done! I am so looking forward to 6.0 now. I know I have a long wait, but all the elements of great storytelling are there in this prelude.
  7. The higher numbers of characters to be killed would be too much if it were like the present rampage where your only purpose on that planet is to kill your quota. If, under this new system, you chose to repeat a chapter, it would be hard not to kill 250 enemies. Run a flashpoint? or an Ops (if kills in Ops count)? Again, 250 would be easily reached. I, for one, like adding purpose to the rampage--and the chance for variety as well. I think in practice this will turn out to be a wonderful change to conquest.
  8. Some warning of shutting down the servers would be greatly appreciated! It happened while I was downloading the PTS. When I first tried to install it, I still had the Rishi PTS program in place, and this caused the computer to freeze. Getting rid of the old program fixed that (and it would be a good idea to inform people that this would be the case--many of us have little expertise). Then, just when I thought the new download was complete, it announced that there was a mistake in the program and it was going to fix. That fix froze my computer and damaged an important Windows 10 file, requiring a reinstallment of Windows 10. Yes, big hassles! I understand the urgency and that you were probably not aware of what the consequences could be, especially to a computer troglodyte like me. But even I know something bad can happen when the server is shut down in the middle of a download! Warning is essential.
  9. I am eager to test Ossus, but I cannot download the patch. I never deleted the PTS patch for the Rishi SH. Could that be interfering? It gets as far as Main assets 286, 66%, then everything freezes. No other programs on my computer work properly at that time--terrible lag (we're talking minutes between clicking on a program and it opening if it doesn't time out altogether). Any suggestions? If I need to delete the old PTS files, where can I find them or what are their names. I don't want to delete the entire game by accident!
  10. Yes, please! Spending hours popping coins into a slot machine (and then coming up with no Certs) is not fun game play. Command Crates could use a goody-boost. Win-win, right?
  11. All the RP'ers in my Guild want one emote above all others: arms crossed and leaning against whatever wall is handy. Yes, positioning a character would take a bit of skill, but we've learned to perch our characters on barstools without their derrieres floating in space (most of the time, anyway), so we could learn this. Arms crossed with your character's weight more on one leg than the other (the way most people stand, it seems) would be useful when no wall is handy and easier to execute. Pretty please?
  12. I and my friends have been laughing helplessly as we play with these disguise terminals. They are wonderful! Kudos to everyone for making them. Jawa would also be my choice for the next one. And I know someone who has been moaning because he has come up with a Rodian character that he can't make for RP purposes. Thank you, thank you, thank you!
  13. I, for one, want to thank you for delaying the Double XP for a week. The alts we want to test out new content with may not be the ones who need the Double XP. This way works much, much better. Thanks!
  14. Yes, yes, yes. A possible romance--surely they could manage some sort of time together!
  15. It has to be legacy base--Speedy is like a deco, and your decorations don't change when you change the characters you are on. I agree, if you get the title, you must lose Speedy and enjoy Scritchy I'm just peeved that I lost Speedy and didn't get the title. One or the other. Or is this a case of crime not paying?
