  1. Let OP live in his idyll. When you deal things like raid management, guild management, handling players, raiders, kicking whiners, finding replacements, dealing with bail-outs, RL problems, 12 out of 16 showing for raid, people being idiots in raids, lots of hold-handing and explaining - then you burn out quite easily. 16 skilled players who always show up, buy their stims, adrenals, medpacs, grind better mods, know how to play well, actually play well, know the encounters, have good situational awareness - they are harder to find. If OP is in such guild - good for him. But not everything in the world is the way you are experiencing atm. For some people 16-man is harder. Many players have been playing 8-man for a long time and need to adjust to 16-man. Any factor (higher raid, random, tank damage and higher hp of bosses) should be take into consideration because there will be adjustments to raid configuration, tanking and healing. DPSwise it is the same. Just nuke and avoid ****. It is harder from raid management PoV, more planning. Nothing else.
  2. I also think that HM FPs should be a step up to operations and not vice-versa when you facreoll EV with people in half-greens and struggle on a simple boss in HM with the same people.

  4. I remember Justice Points in WoW and how nobody needs them. Remember comms in Tol Barad and how quickly useless they become. You either do dailies or do not. You can still sell boe stuff, send to your alts, equip on companions, send mods to alts. Otherwise, let them rot. BW could be more creative with tokens and crystals by introducing some vanity stuff to grind for.
  5. One of the reasons I left WoW. Here I know who I play with. I know many players since I group quite often. Yes, it is frustrating making a group and also little reason to do HM FPs but hopefully all this will change someday.
  6. I have another real world example: Fabricator where raid gets damage from boss, stun droids, explosion droids, tank from fire. The damage is constant. Healing is constant. If you stack alacrity - you just use your ammo very quickly. Since you heal 0.4 seconds faster but your heals are weaker you have to spam heal until you run dry. My guild is playing on nightmare the damage is higher than hard mode. Managing SCC while relying on crits is more beneficial than heal faster and less. PvP is another matter. I don't care about PvP. Maybe alacrity works better there.
  7. Very nice calculator. Thank you. Funny, that 2 and 4 piece bonus decrease HPS almost by a hundred. With my stats. HPS 1. without bonus set is 1423 2. with (both 2 and 4) bonus set is 1341 Although, shorter CD on AMP allows more 1 ammo MP casts. And shorter CD on BT allows more frequent use of a ammo-free ability.
  8. You have: 1. One instant cast ability 2. One free cast ability 3. Recharge cells to 60-70% of max capacity. It's a lot if you plan right.
  9. Never die on the final boss. One person should be alive otherwise you will be locked out of loot. If you see you'll wipe - don't kill boss. Wipe. Some people kill boss at one of the farthest rooms of the instance - behind the little room with the staircase. Some people kill him behind the corner in hall leading to his room. Some people disable two turrets, CC other two and aoe adds killing him where he stands.
  10. You know, with all this commotion around surge I really appreciate your efforts on a whole new level. Your spreadsheets allow to adjust to changes a lot quicker. God bless you for all your work. As a noob, I like your spreadsheet more as of moment. Although the new calculator gives a new helpful info. I appreciated SimulationCraft (SimCraft) application made for WoW. I mean, if people help you with that - it will be the greatest asset to the game.

I found this enhancement http://www.torhead.com/item/bPhxWY2/advanced-reflective-enhancement-22 (haven't found in game but if there is a green schematic then it is possible to progress to purple) +27 power, +27 crit at the expense of surge with my stats gives +HPS Cunning 130 Aim 1773 Crit 270 Surge 376 Alacrity 77 Power 1502 Crit from Skills AND Buffs 14 Alacrity from Skills 9 Surge from Skills 15 Aim from Buffs (not skills) 5 So sacrificing surge for power, crit combo gives better results. At least as I see it from calculator. Also, Alacrity is still strange with me. The aforementioned 14-16% don't really sit well for me and I feel it's a waste of stat to invest so much into alacrity. I do feel though that 9% give a slight advantage in OMG burst situations with AMP/MP is but it's a gut feeling and nothing more.

  15. Commando is not nerfed. Yet. Class feels quite balanced. But who knows.
  16. It's been a joke in our guild for several weeks. Pylons were hyper amusing. Now our tank almost crit his pants with SOA resetting aggro bug. On a side note. Yesterday, I was boosting guildies in Cademimu, and some mobs are still evading. Almost 2 months and not fixed.
  17. Most of the problems exist and are not exaggerated. There are many things which are beyond bugs. That is conceptual design and the future development of the game. More people complain - more feedback developer receives. BW is totally new in MMOs. They need to grow. Our criticism helps them grow and mature. They should be happy.
  18. Thanks. Healing is easy in this game. Tanking is a bit harder. And we, healers, love to see players alive rather than dead.
  19. Because many players feel the same way? It's not a statement. Just a question. Personally, I am bored to ****. I am playing because of the guild I am in. I hardly do dailies. Don't do FPs. Just Ops three times a week. Reminds me of good ole times in WoW just 6 months ago. Same boredom.
  20. Hi again, RuQu. Thank you again for all hard work. I have another question in light of Patch 1.1.3. What do you make out of this change: Surge rating has been re-balanced. It now reaches diminishing returns the same way as other damage ratings, and its per point damage contribution has been reduced by approximately 10%. Thank you.
