Yes Meddani that's the one I'm talking about. it's super annoying and wish it would get fixed. this is going on a week now of having to do this and I'm currently having to patch again with the same patch. Changing compatability mode and everything else didn't fix it.

I have. Those issues aren't mine other than the server mismatch one and the issues leading to that aren't the same. I'm not infinitely launching, searching for patch, crashing and relaunching again. Mine is a very specific sequence of events with the french language "hack" being able to fix it. ti's the intitial redownload in english, then french then english again that is frustrating but it is fixed after the third download. Launchin in frech first to patch then revert to english, doesn't fix it. I MUST patch in english first, then french, then english again to be able to actually play my game. this takes over an hour each time I want to play and is making the game darn near unplayable now as I only have 1-2 hours to play each day right now.

Ever since the last patch, I have to RE-download the patch and then I get the server mismatch error and have to exit out. do the switch to french version hack, exit out of the game from character launch screen, set BACK to english, redownload the patch for the THIRD TIME in english and then finally I can launch and play a character. This has been going on FOR DAYS NOW. What is the problem? How do I fix this?? I've been playing since launch and have dealt with many bugs but this one is cutting into the little time I have to play each day and is getting really upsetting. How do I fix this?

Thank you for the clarification. As I said in my OP, my memory may have been off no surprise these days when I don't remember what I ate for breakfast sometimes!. I got treek and HK pretty quickly so I always seem to have had a surplus of companions just lolly gagging around the ship. Still just wondering if that is going to be upped soon.

We haven't had an increase in the number off companions I think since beta (my memory may be faulty). Is there any plan to increase the number of companions you can have crafting or on missions? 8 was fine when the level cap was 50 but now that it's jumped 30 levels with increasingly complex requirements for crafting, it is just tedious to scroll through multiple alts just to try to make enough stuff for augments and conquest. Sorry If this has been asked before but genuinely curious. Like even increasing it to 10 would be amazing.

Is there any way to advance this companions affection once you run out of tokens for him? I've got him as a companion on multiple toons but don't get a corresponding number of tokens to advance his affection on each toon and the regular gifts don't work for him. is there any option other than dropping a couple million creds and a dark project or 3 to instapop him to 50?

I'm on star forge. My mains that I'm playing GSF on are aeladarkstar, blueberrystalker and killpril I'm going to be starting on my healers korendurron and deia'neira next and I'd enjoy that!

Actually yes it would thank you. I am trying to learn and like I said I've only been doing GSF for maybe 3 weeks I think, but I do have my bomber mastered so I'm trying to learn to help better. The first few times I tried going out and fighting it was a disaster of epic proportion. the last match I did, I actually moved out of my nest and made a field around an asteroid and suddenly I got some kills with my drones but I also got smoked a few times too so that's a learning curve for sure.

How am I not doing something when I’m keeping 3 gunships safe and alive? I do my part and for the most part people have said they’ve enjoyed queueing with me. When I get in matches with toxic people complaining about me flagging afk for literrally 30 seconds in a 10+ min match then frankly I’m happy to get out of that match and into one with a better group. I suck at dogfights and cant fly to save my life so I choose a ship that allows me to contribute in the best way that is not going to end up with me being killed a dozen times while trying to evade.

This is actually not true. I’ve only started playing gsf (3 weeks now)and suck at dogfights so I naturally gravitated towards bonbers where I could go in and lay a sweet minefield where I have bombs and heals and the game marks me as AFK because my drones haven’t fired a shot at an enemy ship for a minute or so but my healing drone has healed 10 friendlies as they flew by. My guildie and I were vote kicked when we were both in bombers even though we had a sweet minefield with three gunships parked inside raining holy terror on the other team and our bombs were keeping the baddies away. We were kicked from the group for going “afk” with no warning. Low and behold the members on my team were then whining in fleet chat about 5 minutes later when they lost. Point is, know the class of ship and if they’re on a bomber and showing as afk they MAY be in the middle of laying a minefield or waiting to plant a new bomb because bombers are prime targets and dont dogfight worth crap many times. I’ve been marked afk AS I’m laying a minefield and every time I start a match I start with I’ll be laying a minefield with heals at x location. Please dont kick me for going afk as I’ve got my field and heals out. Many times people are surprised when I say thay and ask why they would kick me. But you bet your bottom dollar those nasty comments and behavior stuck with me when I was contributing in the best way I know how.

My guild and I have all been running SM OPs and have enough currency to up our gear past the 322 tokens that we've upgraded through the grind, but none of us can access the vendor even though we have currency to burn and 322 tokens. Are SM ops people not allowed to increase their gear beyond 322 at the vendor?!

You forgot the Thrysian gear boxes. 1 in 3 boxes doesn’t contain loot every single day. I’ve hit report and recieved so many “there’s nothing we can do about it” messages I’ve lost count. One of your gearijg avenues is barely usable because of the fact that the gear vanishes from a reward box so often. Multiple people in my guild are experiencing this issue. Why isn’t this fix included in the gear box patch when it’s been reported ad naseum?!

Okay thank you. Like I said this is the first new tank I've had in a long time, so haven't had to level from level 70. Appreciate the help! EDIT: Just hit 73 and now it's proccing depredating volts. Looks like they moved it up the Combat proficiency scale which is way lame. This used to proc much lower. Way to go messing around with abilities we're used to at a lower level instead of giving us new ones. *RME*

I've got a new tank that I instaleveled to 70 because I want a back up to my back up tank for raiding. She's built identical as all my other Sin Tanks but at level 70, my depredating volts isn't proccing to build any dark protection stacks even though I'm using the exact same rotation as my other 2 tanks. I checked the other tanks, one is an 80 and one is a 75 and they both proc Depredating Volts using this rotation and I build stacks, but this rotation on my new tank doesn't proc depredating volts so I can't build any stacks. is anyone else having this problem? Is this now only a level 75 or above useful ability?
