Hey OP, I feel ya. One of the most difficult parts of an MMO is finding the guild/group of people that we connect with and create a positive environment for everyone. If we look hard enough I think the toxicity is there in most MMOs. You mention wow classic, and I dont think there has been a more backstabbing, toxic, soul crushing environment as unlocking AQ40 and the race for scarab lord. Also, the PVP in that game in order to get to rank 14 sounds so horrible it would be difficult not to live off the salt. Something I found helpful was to find new growing guilds to jump onto. Maybe there weren't doing the same content as me, but I could guide them through said content and those individuals made the game far more enjoyable.

While I am glad you got it sorted out, I wanted to express my sympathies that you had to restart the quest. I recently returned due to the Steam release and I remember the search for all the parts to be absolutely dreadful.

As the title states, I have 11 days left before I go to preferred status. I would like to make the most out of these days by doing only stuff that I will be able to complete as a subscriber. I will then be taking a break and buying a sub later in the year. The only thing I can think of is to farm heroics and get as much cash as I can and blow it on bank space/race unlocks/ HK unlocks on all the alts. PvP does not interest me. Neither does galactic star fighter. Edit: I also have at the time of this post 2300 cartel coins. suggestions on how to spend these to better improve my time as a preferred would also be appreciated.

Heads up, After I subbed for the first time (two months prepaid) all my current characters got the rewards, new characters got the rewards and I was given a 7 day extra sub time (5/31/2017)
