  1. I think that's exactly what they were going for. In the new cinematic, Malgus pretty much confirmed that's what it is. And it was found in Darth Nul's fortress on Elom. Whoever Darth Nul was, it seems like she was interested in the Force Sensitives that the Jedi didn't want. Nul probably was recruiting said Force Sensitives into the Sith. I bet Malgus wanted to do the same. Find those Force Sensitives and make them strong. Strong enough to fight both sides. I just realized something while typing this. That holocron was in the fortress of an ancient Sith that no one knows anything about. So that holocron is probably pretty ancient too. But that holocron had information on Sahar's brother, right? Would an old holocron have information on people in the present? Or is that holocron and machine that got destroyed new? Or am I stupid? But yeah. I'm interested to see what Sahar does. Will she be with Malgus or against him?
  2. Yeah. I've done these heroics many times on all of my characters. But the first time I went to Mek-Sha, Shaar didn't recognize me. So I immediately went to Belsavis to do her heroic and then went back and the dialogue changed to "It's been ages since we worked together on Belsavis." It's kind of annoying but that's what you have to do if you want these characters to remember you.
  3. Actually yes. But I believe there are only 2 heroic missions that change anything, both on imperial side. There are 2 Sith that give heroic missions that you meet again later on. You'll find Lord Malichose on Alderaan. He gives the mission "Shock Doctrine." Malichose is the Sith that's interrogating the captured Jedi with those 2 acolytes in the last imperial base before you reach the Panteer hideout. If you do this heroic he will recognize you when you meet him on Corellia. He is one of the many side quest givers in the imperial base where you meet Darth Decimus. The other Sith is Lord Shaar who is on Belsavis. She gives the mission "Old Enemies." Shaar is at the Southern most imperial base on Belsavis, the first place you go to if you do the bonus series of side missions. You meet her again when you arrive on Mek-Sha during the Onslaught expansion. If you do her heroic she will remember you. I believe those are the only 2 heroics that change anything at all. However, since heroics reset daily, you'll want to do these heroics the same day you reunite with these characters. So, if you're going to the last area on Corellia, you'll want to do that heroic on Alderaan first. And if you're about to go to Mek-Sha during Onslaught, you'll want to do that Belsavis heroic first. And just to be safe, I always talk to them to receive their missions instead of using the terminal on the planet. If you travel to every base that has a speeder and fast travel station you won't have much trouble finding them.
  4. There is something I noticed that I think I should share. During every race you get "bonus mission: time trial" or something like that. Like all bonus missions, you will see green text saying you completed it. Whenever I finish a race on Dantooine I see "completed bonus mission: time trial". However, I have never once seen that text on either Onderon or Tatooine. Which means I don't receive credit for finishing the race with time remaining. I'm assuming I'm not the only one experiencing this bug. That said, I'm willing to bet that this is the reason we are not getting these achievements. I hope the devs see this.
  5. With how long he's been gone, I wouldn't get my hopes up. However, during the livestream, when they talked about dangerous fringe groups rising up across the galaxy and that Sith cult that's messing with that superweapon, the name Darth Jadus did spring to mind. If he is finally returning then I bet he will have something to do with one of those.
  6. To receive all of the rewards, do you have to login every single day and complete every single objective? Or will you be able to get all of the rewards by logging in a few days per week and complete a few objectives per week?
  7. Actually, you can kill him. When that Voss confronts you on the space station when you're about to leave, you have the option to kill the Gormak if you choose the dialogue option: "I'm sorry, my mistake." So we're probably never going to see him again.
  8. We have been seeing plenty of familiar faces in this game recently so why not? I am glad that instead of creating a bunch of new characters for Jedi Under Siege and Onslaught, that they have been bringing back old characters that we've completely forgotten about. However, some of these characters we've never met. Darth Xarion and Darth Anathel were introduced in a diplomacy crew skill mission of all things, which I think is weird but that does make them returning characters. Darth Savik is a random mini-boss that Republic players kill on Corellia. I think bringing Savik back from the dead and giving her a backstory wasn't a good decision but that's just my opinion. Darth Shaar has a heroic mission on Belsavis and is now either on the Dark Council or one step below it, or dead I guess. Anyway, my point is I'm glad old, forgotten characters are returning, I just wish the characters that were returning are characters that we know better, like Hargrev and Nurin. I think Darth Nurin should be Savik's replacement on the Dark Council if Savik is removed from the Council. If anything ever happens to Darth Anathel I think Hargrev would be a good replacement. Another character I would like to see again is Darth Charnus. I think he would be a good replacement for Darth Krovos or Darth Xarion if anything ever happens to them. Charnus was the apprentice of a Dark Council member and it's his apprentice that sends Imperial players to infiltrate the Order of Revan on Dromund Kaas.
  9. Agreed. As much as I love characters like Revan and Darth Malgus, the dead should stay dead. However that will clearly not be the case anytime soon now that a certain someone has returned at the end of the Echoes of Oblivion update. Even Darth Savik, a random nobody that is killed alongside Decimus, has returned. Instead of bringing Decimus back from the dead, I'd rather see his apprentice return, Darth Charnus. As far as we know Charnus is still alive. He was present during the battle at Corellia and it is his apprentice that sends imperial players to infiltrate the Order of Revan on Dromund Kaas. I'm kind of surprised that Charnus hasn't been on the Dark Council yet. I think Darth Charnus would be a good fit for any of the seats on the council, except maybe the Sith Doctrine seat. Either way, I'm still waiting for the option for imperial characters to be able to recruit Darth Malora, and republic characters to be able to recruit Darth Savik.
  10. This flashpoint has been broken for years. The problem is after grouping up and going through the whole thing, it's always impossible for one member of the group to finish it because the survivor in the spaceport at the end is in a different location for that one group member. For everyone else in the group she is in the correct location: up on the walkway or whatever, but for one group member she is directly below the place she should be, meaning she is always "out of range" and that one group member cannot participate in that end cutscene. it's extremely annoying to not receive credit for doing that long, tedious flashpoint. It's also a very difficult flashpoint to solo. Master mode Kaon Under Siege is also a requirement for one of those [VEHICLE] missions you receive from that one terminal on the fleet, making one of those missions impossible to complete. Also, why aren't veteran mode Kaon Under Siege and Lost Island on the group finder? It's weird that every flashpoint in the game is on the group finder except for those two.
  11. I just thought of something. For agents that become the Hand of Jadus, you are sent on a mission to recover datapads from dead Imperial Guardsmen on Hoth. In recovering these datapads, Jadus learns of the Emperor's plan to wipe out all life in the galaxy. And so Jadus leaves the galaxy. Given Jadus's disappearance and prolonged absence no matter what you choose to do on the Dominator, I think its safe to assume that he learns the Emperor's plans and leaves the galaxy no matter what. I think Jadus hasn't returned yet because the Emperor has been alive this whole time and the galaxy hasn't been wiped out yet. Someone as powerful as Jadus could no doubt sense if either of these things changed. With this in mind it would be foolish of Jadus to return when a galactic threat like the Emperor is still at large and could potentially annihilate the galaxy at any moment. But now the Emperor is gone forever, which means there's nothing keeping Jadus away. This is just a theory that I thought of today, but it does make a lot of sense. Hopefully with the Emperor gone we will see Jadus return sooner rather than later.
  12. I still can't log in so I haven't played it myself, but I did watch someone play it on YouTube, and I have to say it was pretty epic! I remember how disappointed I was at the end of KOTET. "Kneel before the dragon of Zakuul" is what ultimately destroyed the Emperor? Really? I knew that couldn't have been the end, and I'm glad to see I was right. Echoes of Oblivion is a much better ending for the galaxy's greatest evil. The only thing I didn't like was the lack of dialogue between certain characters. Anyway, I think this is one of the best updates that this game has received. This is what drew me to the Old Republic series in the first place: the great story telling.
  13. Disconnections are a common thing in this game, and more often than not, the second you disconnect you are kicked from the group and replaced. People don't even bother to wait and see if you reconnect. Groups should have to wait 5 minutes or so before being able to kick a disconnected player. I have spent countless hours trying to form groups for operations and I have been kicked from my own groups countless time for disconnecting, and I always reconnect less than a minute later. If there is any way to make what I suggest possible I'm begging you to please try and make this happen.
  14. Glad I'm not the only one that's annoyed Ravage and Mortis haven't returned yet. A can of worms was opened by showing us who could die on Nathema. They could have made it so the Eternal Empire had killed them all but they went a different direction. So as far as I'm concerned, unless your character watches them die, everyone else that could die on Nathema is still alive in that character's timeline or whatever. That doesn't really make sense but you know what I'm trying to say. It seems like a waste if we never see any of them again. Jedi Under Siege and Onslaught were great opportunities to bring back many of these characters but that didn't happen. Now that the Republic is focusing on rebuilding the Jedi Order it's a good opportunity for some of these characters to return. I know it's unlikely we'll see any of them again but one can hope.
  15. Just because anti-"Disney Star Wars" people aren't here on this forum doesn't mean they don't exist. I've seen plenty of people calling out Disney's BS in plenty of other places, mainly in the comments section of certain YouTube videos. I've also talked with plenty of "Disney Star Wars" fans and they all confessed to know nothing of the EU. Meaning many Disney supporters haven't been exposed to what Star Wars really is, and even many of them agree that the newest movie was ridiculous. However, I do agree that it's good that Star Wars finally has gay people. As someone who's ever only had one real friend, who happens to be a trans person, I appreciate it. We are all human.
  16. If you can't be bothered to read the entire thing or click on the links under appearances I can't help you.

  18. Sounds better than anything Disney and EA have made. And you're right the best Star Wars games came out in the late 90s and early 2000s. There sort of is a game like that: Empire at War. On the Imperial side, Vader is tasked with identifying and hunting down the Imperial traitor that gave the Death Star plans to the Rebels. Later on it turns out it was Moff Kallus that did it, so you hunt him down and deliver him to Palpatine. Whatever happens then is left to our imaginations. Also Empire at War is just a great game in general. Actually Boba survived and blasted his way out of that Sarlacc. There are many comics and novels with him in it after Return of the Jedi. He even became Mandalore. https://starwars.fandom.com/wiki/Boba_Fett/Legends
  19. The more I read on this thread the more uncertain I feel about Jadus becoming the Sith Emperor. Ever since the battles on Corellia and Ilum, the Empire's focus has been survival. Marr and Acina have both done much to end Sith infighting and powerplays along with not letting species limit what people can become in the Empire. My agent joined Jadus because he said he would change the Empire by doing these same things, but Marr and Acina have done more than he has. I like what the Empire has become, so if Jadus becomes emperor and doesn't change too much I'd support him, but if he does do a complete overhaul then we might have problems. Besides I thought it was obvious that the Sith are the good guys here.
  20. On Onderon before Imperial players go meet with Akoru, Darth Savik tells you about Lord Brutann, Akoru's brother. Brutann is killed by Republic players on Hoth and at the time Brutann served Darth Jadus. That is what you misunderstood.
  21. No. No matter what you choose when you confront him Jadus lives.
  22. I think I speak for most of us when I say Jadus has been away too long. However, the Empire has fallen far from when he was on the Dark Council, so I doubt Jadus has any interest in ruling the Empire now. I wouldn't be surprised if he wanted to wipe the slate clean and destroy the Empire, Republic, and the Alliance. If you side with on the Dominator later on he tells us he learned Tenebrae's plans and then Jadus leaves the galaxy. Who knows what kind of things he has accomplished and followers he has secured in the amount of time he's been gone? I don't want to be his enemy, especially since my agent joined him, but I have a feeling we won't have a choice in the matter. Tenebrae even called him the "greatest Sith my Empire ever produced." So him being the next big antagonist does seem very likely. I hope agents get some unique moments when Jadus does return, especially considering how many different ways the confrontation aboard the Dominator can go, but that's probably too much to hope for isn't it? I'm actually kind of hoping Malgus and Jadus will team up. Malgus will definitely want revenge on the Empire and Jadus will most likely see Malgus as a useful tool to accomplish whatever Jadus's goals are. One final note: before Jadus leaves he says, "I see the shape of the galaxy as only five others can. To intervene directly would be costly and pointless, but I do not abandon the game." WHAT DOES THAT MEAN?
