  1. I don't know what GW2 game you're playing but that game still has queue's for WVW and multiple instances of Lions Arch where everyone gathers. That games player-base hasn't dwindled much at all.
  2. TLDR: This game is in bad shape, hope for the best.
  3. Fine this game is as good as other failed MMO's such as Age of Conan, Star Trek Online and Warhammer Online. I'm not saying this game will close down soon, it will be a while, believe me I have played several other failed MMO's and they don't close down right away and yes subs and player population do stabilize but it becomes a niche MMO for a small community so if that's your idea of "the sky isn't falling" then great for you guys. F2P is coming and that will initially boost numbers partly out of curiosity but unless this MMO brings in something fresh and new which it overall has not then the playerbase will drop again, servers will consolidate more and (it might be several years) this game will close down.
  4. You're deluding yourself if you don't think this game is losing players. I logged in yesterday on a Friday afternoon after not playing for several months and both fleet had about 180 players and only one instance. That's less than what I saw several months ago and this is after several servers closing down/players moved. GW2 on the other hand still has queue's for World vs world and second instances of maps where many players consolidate. In addition you see many players with items that cost much more than your average 1 month subscription.
  5. This would just make PVP queue's take longer unless they implemented cross server queue's.
  6. This game is losing people, during peak hours on my server the empire has two instances of the fleet and republic always has one.
  7. This game was a huge let down, I didn't buy another MMO so I could play WOW again. I really hope they change some aspects of this game to differentiate it but I doubt that's going to happen. So if it doesnt happen I hope this game dies and EA/BW learn from this disaster.
  8. Like many people have said that fact that they attribute such an enormous loss of players to their subscription mode shows they don't know what they're talking about. You lose players not because of your pricing model but because players are no longer having fun in your game and don't see a reason to keep subscribing.
  9. the repercussions of the grind, people try to minimize it as much as possible. Another reason why TOR endgame is just plain stupid.
  10. This whole system they're following is just stupid, it just makes the whole system convoluted. Next they'll add a second augment for every piece and scale the game to that.
  11. Playing this game doesn't make you a hardcore PVP'r, it's a faction based warzone PVP game, this is a carebear game at it's finest and we're all just carebearing it up in here. So the thought of anyone here claiming to be a PVP'r is what we should all laughing out loud for.
  12. The 50 grind is stupid and the only people who defend it are those who have gone through it because if they had to suffer though it then new players need to suffer through it as well. That's the generic MMO mentality behind that need to be superior. But every so often you get people with brains and a real sense of a competitive PVP who realize the grind is dumb and there should be a less repetitive and mind numbingly boring way to achieve end game PVP gear so we can all be competitive and get this war going and kill us some imps/pubes.
