  1. I'm interested. Gonna check this game out again. I used to play a long time ago and really enjoyed the PvP.
  2. People hate your guild because its hamayzeeeeen! There is no beating a US premade--too good!
  3. Actually, Juke could teach you a few things...just saying
  4. Pubs, hands down. Impartial...honest!
  5. NOTE: None of the node guards imp side for my last 25 matches may have their names entered into this thread.
  6. B/C they are often not recognized (except when ninjad), here's a thread giving the JC PvP community a chance to publicly recognize the efforts of those elite few. The few who have the ability to survive more than 3gcd's--the ability to type "1 inc g"--the ability to not give in to the temptation to afk, no matter the score... I'll start Two of the best pub side that I've had the pleasure to play w/: Jaenx and Quesadilla--both great players, both willing to guard, both knowledgeable typers.
  7. WTB, but if you're interested in the following items, they're up for trade as well: New lightsaber New assault cannon New blaster pistol New blaster rifle Adv blood-red end crystal ...other various items. Thanks!
  8. Ty very much! Very helpful! And no, I had not seen that guide. The only guide I came across was primarily focused on PvE and did very little to answer my questions. Thanks, this is just what I'm looking for.
  9. I am currently gearing my vanguard for PvP. I'm curious as to what is commonly accepted as the best way to go. Here are my questions (any help from experienced players is greatly appreciated! ty in advance). -What augments most benefit the spec? Shield, defense, absorb or fortitude? I would think shield but I've also heard I should just stack hp. Any advice? -Is it best to just go full supercommando? Or do diminishing returns on some defensive attributes make a mixture of dps/tank gear the best option. -What should I shoot for as far as final hp? Should I just max it as much as possible? Or would it be good to keep my shield/absorb numbers up and settle for a lower number? Again, thanks for the advice ahead of time! (btw, advice like "the best way to gear a vanguard tank is to roll a guardian" is unwelcome )
  10. Friday would be much better for me too.
  11. depending on who you are, this may not be a problem
  12. There are also 3 new developer threads that are attempting to garner feedback from the player base on what needs to change. Is this also typical? Imo I think we are in for some real player/developer communication that will bring about good changes. Call me an optimist...buuut would they create three threads (in addition to the communication via the class representatives (which were also complained about - lol)) for the purpose of turning around and ignoring the responses? I've been around a little while. Been playing for just over a year. Have they initiated this kind of thing before? Not to my knowledge. What does that tell me? That there seems to be a renewed focus on addressing player concerns. Flame away.
  13. because everyone who doesn't cry is a developer....rightmmk
  14. @ Jaenx Don't abandon tactics just yet, my friend (cf. pts patch notes post)
  15. I transferred two characters today. Seems available.
  16. The only alternative, though, would be what? Not balancing for arenas? Where would that leave arenas? And tbh, it seems like balancing for arenas might actually complement balance for the pve content because of the emphasis placed on composition (1 tank, 1 healer, 2 dps - for non ranked comps). Tweaking the classes to perform well in arenas based on the classic trilogy comp, imho, will only help pve in general.
  17. First of all, I'm sure there are many that would disagree with you about tactics being nerfed by these changes. Second, how can you say "nerf" when the damage mentioned is not specified. The post simply says "damage increased" or "damage slightly decreased." It is amazing how you already call judgment on something I am positive you have not yet tested. On top of this, there is plenty they have not yet put on the PTS (e.g., the entirety of the pve update) so obviously there is more to come. Whether more balances is yet to be seen. You do not know that they will not come so stop pretending you do. Further more, don't you think its wise for them to allow 2.4 in its current state to be publicly tested before tweaking? Apart from internal testing, they have no idea how things will work out. Your assessment of what classes need nerfed and what classes are op'd based on 8v8 will not be as accurate as the assessment the devs get from the PTS play this weekend. Don't you think its wise to start with only minor tweaks, see how the current state is in an arena setting, then make further tweaks as necessary? I mean, why tweak something that may turn out to be absolutely fine in this new environment only to have to go back and change it once again because the original state was better? Do you understand now? lol btw, loving your ability to predict the future on what bw will and will not do...your opinions are fine, but i dont see how you think cynicism contributes at all to the community
  18. "The patch notes published for the Public Test Server are intended to guide testing. They are not final and are subject to change." So ready to complain when this is clearly stated at the top of the post in large red letters....some people
  19. Def looking forward to this. Will be great to have the rated scene more accessible for those who can't put together 8 ppl consistently.
  20. Sounds like you are solely thinking of PT dps. If they run their PT as a tank I do not see a problem whatsoever. However, we can only hope its them checking out tweaks to the dps that has hopefully been buffed.
  21. For those of us unable to play on the PTS until tonight, feedback would be awesome, thanks!
