  1. Lets say you have 2000 comms. Buy a weapon from the PvP vendor for 900 comms. Now you have 1100 comms and a weapon worth 900 if you refund it. Lets say in about 2 hours you get 1000 comms from warzones. Now you have 2100 comms and a weapon worth 900 but since its been roughly 2 hours you have to return it or you have to keep it. Buy a new weapon for 900 comms (bringing you down to 1200) and then refund the old weapon. Now you have 2100 comms and a weapon worth 900 comms for a total of 3000. Keep doing that cycling the weapons until you hit 40. Be very careful though if you forget and have any of the weapons expire you lose all those comms. Its dangerous but if you're careful very helpful.
  2. Is that new with update 2.0? How does one do that?
  3. Question will ranked warzone and normal warzone commendations be reset? Also will the amount that you can hold change? I've been saving up comms for the expansion but if its just going to reset I've been wasting my time and I want to find out.
  4. There is an alternative method no one has touched on. Bonus missions. I highly suggest looking up the bonus missions for every level and doing them as soon as you can. Gives you an alternate series of missions to do.
  5. I've leveled multiple characters to 50 Imp side and this is extremely rare. Much more common pub side.
  6. Honestly all I see happened with a 10-30 bracket is an increase in Q times. I personally love to PvP instead of doing the same quests for the 100th time and I really don't want to see Q times increase. So instead of having a 10-30 bracket why not make 20 the req level for PvP (it should be anyways 10 isn't enough to get a handle on the class). Also I know BioWare is probably against this because they seem to love this incredibly outdated MMO concept but why not make it so more vital abilities are learned earlier on. As it is now some classes like Assassins can do very well early on while others don't get their required abilities until like 30 or 40.

Please? Or some sort of small scale PvP.
  8. The PTS is just that. A test. When the servers go live you will not be able to level to 55. Look here: http://www.swtor.com/rothc Increased Level Cap is the very first thing they show. "Continue your Star Wars saga with a new level cap of 55! Earn new abilities, skill points, gear, and more as your character advances!"
  9. This doesn't change anything...? I mean on the PTS you will be able to be 55. On the live servers you won't be. Are you pointing out they may add more content? Possibly but I doubt it.
  10. I have. And I get that. All this stuff is being introduced but when it hits the live servers you'll need the expansion to play. Sure we respec and play around with skill points like in we did in WoW but most of the content is locked for the expansion.
  11. If thats the case than that means 2.0 brings 0 new content because the Op and the FPs both require 55 which you can only get with RotHC.
  12. I've noticed people throwing their hands up in the air like they just don't care and acting as though 2.0 is awesome now that we have details. But I'm taking the opposite stance. I don't feel as though this is much of an expansion. Maybe I'm used to real MMO expansions like in Rift or WoW but usually an "expansion" means tons of new content. Even in Skyrim it's usually a sizable addition. As a PvPer the only new content revealed thus far I'm interested in Makeb. I don't plan on doing the new Op. "Well what about the FPs?" There aren't any! There's new difficulty modes for Flashpoints I've already run a hundred times. "What about all the class balance changes?" Frankly I'm not sure about the changes yet. They could be good they could be bad. But I expect major class balancing in a major patch. This isn't necessarily something that stands out. There is 0 new PvP content. There's 0 new flashpoints. I'm basically paying 10 dollars for Makeb and some balance changes. Also despite all the criticism they've gotten BioWare still cannot put out new gear sets that look great. Anyway these are just my opinions. Maybe you love running the same flashpoints over again on a new difficulty or maybe you'll be spending all your time in S&V so you don't care about anything else. I would have much rather had a 30-50 dollar expansion that was substantial or at least a guarantee of another 10 expansion coming soon than what we got. What do you think?
  13. This is my most hated ability in all of gaming. I know many who feel the same and I would ask that if BioWare removed it what do you think they should replace it with (as in not something that stuns you over and over)? I know Sorcs need buffs so I'm not saying nerf them into the ground. I'm just saying this is one of the most poorly implemented abilities I've ever seen.
  14. So I just now have time for Gree stuff. I'd like to hit friendly before the week is over and I have 3 50s. Can I hit friendly before the event is over? I know there's a weekly cap of 12k and I think the event ends next Tuesday so it seems impossible.
  15. Bump. Come on people share some knowledge.
  16. Anyone know of a good farming route for these? I mean like an actual route (a picture or a video). If you don't have a route telling me where to go is the next best thing.
  17. Anyone know a place where I can farm Upari Crystals and Primeval Artifact Fragments? Preferably a place on Corellia.
  18. I'll be frank PvP is waaaaaaay more harsh to newcomers than PvE. In PvE you start at a low tier and work your way up. In PvP you'll be facing players far better geared than you who probably know what they're doing and often will have friends who are the same. I personally have never found PvE fun. The concept of fighting a bunch of NPCs in which the outcome is tied to the numbers on my gear is simply unappealing. In PvP (in SWTOR at least) in a lot of ways its the same. Your gear is the predominant factor in whether you will win or lose. With that being said get the recruit set. If you have MK-1 get MK-2. It gives you Expertise which is vital in PvP. Don't go into a game with PvE gear. Also another equally important thing is don't rely on the terrible pictures BioWare supplies you so you can learn the Warzones. Go on YouTube or the PvP forums and just spend 15 minutes learning the basics of all the Warzones before playing. If you do try good luck. It will be very very frustrating at first and you'll lose a lot but over time (a few weeks) you'll be on a more level playing field.
  19. Is there a simple black robe in this game? And by black I mean actually black a la the Phantom gear not something that barely qualifies as gray (like the Supreme Inquisitor's Robe). I also don't want any nasty highlights either. Just straight up black.
  20. I've just started to do dailies but now I'm turning to my crew skills for profit. I currently have 3 characters: 50 Juggernaut with: 362 Biochem 400 Bioanalysis 400 Scavenging 50 Sniper with: 400 Scavenging 380 Slicing 400 Underworld Trading 47 Assassin with: 326 Synthweaving 314 Archaeology 312 Underworld Trading I want to start turning a profit so I'm dropping Slicing on my Sniper for Cybertech but what else should I drop and what should I pick up? In the past I looked at all 3 characters separately but now that I've played a bit I realize that they really aren't separate and I can send different things to different characters.
  21. Hello all I'm about to hit 50 and I was wondering if anyone can point in the direction of: 1. A general Assassin PvP guide that's up to date. 2. A thread where I can see a list of all the currently viable specs. Arika, Full Deception, Full Darkness, etc. 3. A thread where I can find out what stats I should be stacking based on what spec.
  22. When I was playing Scav was the money maker. So what should I switch too? What should I drop?
