I don't feel the current system is complex at all and players that think it is......might not be the type you want in raids or pvp teams......you know those folk who always stand in the fire. As for balance, it won't do a thing for it. There is not an MMO out there that is balanced and there never will be

What I fear the "new system" will do is show that our dev team is lazy and couldn't balance pvp so they took away many of the players choices. Plus it is unlikely to bring back players....after all it isn't new content....just a revamped skill tree. Hope it is a great change but I won't hold my breath

The main worry I have is if this will greatly change the feel of the game. I am not just talking buttons but the community. When wow did their change it also changed the community.....brought a lot more ********s into the game that don't have to think to spec a character.

My solution would be to make new post planets of Tython or Korriban that you can access only after completing the quest chain, don't even shown them on the star charts until you have completed the quest and then once completed don't show the pre quest planets( have an option to allow them to show in case someone wants to group with friends)

One of the main problems games like SWTOR, pokemon and other multiplayer games is that different states and countries have many different laws about on line gambling. Here in Hawaii it would become and issue because of the poorly written gambling laws here.

I disagree. What they did was use Revan as a cash cow. I is not about writing a good story but about getting people to play just to find out what happened to their old character. What they delivered was a mary sue character.

Wouldn't matter if you had a solo mode or not. If you want to group with others......no one is stopping you. Why force your method of playing onto people who don't want to follow that method? Having different types of options will keep a greater number of people playing.

When a game is brand spanking new it gets what is called the honeymoon time. This is when everyone flocks to the game and starts playing it. After a few months to maybe a year, many people start leaving due to all kinds of reasons and this starts the whole the game is dying panic. The game is not dying it is stabilizing and it is common to lose 60% of the player base during that time, servers get merged and haters yell the game is dying and so on. Then the becomes stable and the game goes on.

When you buy packs you are gambling with your money. You might get lucky but most of the time you just waste your money. My advice buy items and unlocks that you really want but stay away from the gambling packs since you can pick them up off the GTN . It is not hard to make 300-500k credits. Also set yourself a limit of money you are willing to spend per month and don't go over it.

Here is the deal. No matter what type of server you are on there will be tools and there are all types of tools as well. People that you do not like, you do not have to group with. People who spam chat with stuff you don't like, you put on ignore and poof you don't see it. The community makes the server and you the player makes the community.

I don't think you understand how guilds work. Even with the best guilds you have large number that will either park an alt in it and never play again, quit it or decide to play some low level toon elsewhere. Trying to judge subs by the number of guildies you can keep is just plain foolish. Your guild might just suck

I call BS. Even as a guild leader of a guild of 200 plus I never knew 40 people that well to say if they had quit the game or not. More likely 40 is a number that was pulled out of the air

I think they are going with the tried and true method of silence. Most companies do this since anything they say is taken as law my a fickle community that will read tons of stuff into whatever they say and then start category 5 drama storms over what they believe they heard. I think they would rather have a category 1 drama storm over the silence than a bigger storm over something they said.

In most MMOs its a single island that is the expansion or other little land mass. I'll wait and see what this planet is like before judging it
