  1. Also, I went from 114, to 88, to 78... then back to 87. BW can't even do queues properly.
  2. It's "Light" according to the server status. No idea what's going on.
  3. The lowest priced were 300k, you're right, but until today, there's been over 100+ on the market at all times. No shortage. And yeah, it's annoying. Not sure what happened to the market.
  4. First things first. Anyone selling hypercrates at a sensible price should message me (Bvirus) in-game or on here to arrange a purchase. I have more than 400 million credits to spend. And now for those people currently selling hypercrates on the servers - can't any of you guys do math? Individual packs are going for 300k each, and most of you are selling hypercrates (30 packs) for 10 mil a go.
  5. Question for admins: Will any changes you make to cartel packs affect hypercrates/packs already in the game? I'm guessing they will, but I just want to make sure.
  6. Great depression, you say? How many children are being sold in game at the moment? This is a game. It has no debt. Credits are infinite. Depressions are impossible. Let's not trivialize one of the worst human tragedies in history, O.K?
  7. No idea what your point is but O.K. then. Thanks for that.
  8. As the title says. Pretty sure they shouldn't be.
  9. Wow, you're just not going to shut up are you? Soloing Athiss, regardless of gear, is not easy and an achievement, especially with that annoying 5-droid pull that can easily wipe an entire group if people aren't paying attention. Stop being a jerk and just let it go.
  10. A bitter tragedy that a man who made so many laugh, myself included, died probably more miserable than he had ever been. Rest in Peace.
  11. You said I wanted to ignore you because of a difference of opinion. I did not say that. Ergo, you did put words in my mouth. Buddy.
  12. If you want to think that, then go for it. But the fact is that healers rarely get credit for what they do and often get the blame. I haven't got time for this kind of thing. I want to get in, do the thing and get out. Most people aren't doing flashpoints for the pleasure of it. We're doing it for comms or gear, which allow us to do other content we actually do enjoy. Also, I wouldn't be ignoring you over a difference of opinion, so stop putting words in my mouth. I'm sure we disagree on many things. It's just on this particular issue, our difference of opinion directly affects my ability to do my job. People continually complain about bad healers and yet a healer who takes their role seriously is called anal. At least I took the time to learn how to do my role properly, which enables you to do yours without fear of death.
  13. Why is everyone on these forums suddenly an economist? There won't be a crash. Stop worrying.
  14. I apologize. I didn't read the wall of text. As someone who has studied economics, I didn't really feel the need to read something by someone who has obviously not. Something I don't think you've realized is that a lot of this money being "sunk" from the game is earmarked for that sink. People have been saving. This is not money that would have been used for another purpose anyway. Other people have had this money for a long time and would not have spent it on anything else. Many others will probably be buying the strongholds with cartel coins. In short, think of this money being spent as surplus money. It's money people have earned specifically for the stronghold or who wouldn't have used it for anything else anyway. Prices may dip a little but it won't last long. If anything, the introduction of a vast array of new items will probably increase economic activity. I'm even willing to go as far as to say that we're currently playing in a SWTOR with an artificially high level of credits because of people saving for the strongholds and this will correct itself with their introduction. Remember that it isn't how much money is in supply that's important. It's how much is flowing. The 2008 Crisis didn't occur because money "disappeared". It occurred because the flow of credit shutdown almost overnight. The money was still there but it stopped moving. The introduction of strongholds will not do this. Finally, this game's economy is nothing like real life. This. This right here.
  15. Are you on The Harbinger? If so, can you give me your toon names so I can put you on ignore to ensure I never, ever have to go through the misery of trying to heal you.
  16. I wasn't aware of that. Thanks for clarifying.
  17. It's called peer review. If it's good enough for the scientific community, then I'm going to be bold and say it should be good enough for the SWTOR Suggestion Box.
  18. ^ This. Reset the quest in your quest log. I edited my original post to make this clearer. Just an update on this spot. There is a limit on the amount of times you can reset it in a day. This limit probably exists with every quest in the game, although I don't know for sure. I also have no idea how many times you have to reset it before hitting the limit as I wasn't counting when I hit it, but unless you're farming this for more than three hours, I doubt it'll be an issue.
  19. This really does belong in the Customer Support forum. You're more likely to get a response if you post there.
  20. Dark Maul is my favourite star wars. I like dark vader, but dark maul is better because of his sword.
  21. This is correct. Even vendoring all the drops will get you into the 300 - 400k region. If you put them on the GTN, it could be higher, depending on prices on your server. Unfortunately I believe this is only doable for Imperial side.
  22. Firstly, apologies if this is in the wrong forum but I honestly had no idea where else to put it. Secondly, an acknowledgement and thanks to Gouken on The Bastion for showing me and the rest of his stream this method of credit farming. Great guy and great streamer. For this, you'll need to go to the Gehn's Overlook Skyhopper taxi point on Voss and from the mission terminal pick up [HEROIC 4] Cleanse the Corrupted. Once you get inside the cave, pull the first two mobs and the elite, Vara-Sol. AoE them down, loot, leave the instance, reset the quest and repeat. In total, the 2 mobs and Vara-Sol drop between 8,000 - 10,000 credits, a couple of greens and a blue or purple (dropped from Vara-Sol). The loot varies but this is usually the minimum drops. This mission can only be reset once every two minutes and it's very easy to kill everything within those two minutes. Gouken estimated that you could make between 300,000 - 400,000 credits an hour doing this. From testing this method personally, I would absolutely agree. A few things: AoE is essential to make this economical. I'd say that if you can't kill them within four minutes, then you'll probably make more credits per hour just doing dailies. I have no idea what the minimum gear requirement would be to solo this and I haven't tried this on my main but I had no problems doing it with my PVP-geared Rage Juggernaut with a poorly geared Malavai healing. For 55's, the mobs don't hit too hard. Vara-Sol has only one mechanic of note. He'll immediately attempt to Force Lift you. Whether you interrupt this or not is at your discretion but he will keep trying to do it and can't be stunned or knocked back, so I prefer to get it out of the way at the start. More often than not, one of the other mobs will break it anyway. It seems to have a long cooldown so if you encounter it again, you're probably taking too long. I think that's it. I'm sure many people know about this already but I wanted to write something up in-case people didn't. With Strongholds and Guildships on the way, everyone can do with as many options for making credits as possible.
