  1. What is the definition of "type 1" or "type 2" ? There is so much terminology for GSF, that it is hard to follow at times.
  2. I'm not talking about when someone leaves. With respect to those who don't accept the queue, that should be managed by not loading the team until it has a full team who have accepted the call. That code exists for the Flashpoint queue, and it needs to be added to the PVP code.
  3. Loading incomplete teams into warzones is a complete waste of time. Please fix this code so that only complete teams load in from the queue. Why is this still happening TWO years after launch?
  4. I have a top end gaming rig. SWTOR loads so slow I often find myself ALT+TAB and sometimes just go do something else completely. The loading times are a major break and distraction from entertainment. I do love the single player story arcs for each class, some of the best I've ever experienced in any game, but the loading nonsense is killing me. As for GW2, I had some friends insist that I get a copy to check it out with them. After 15 minutes of watering corn, carrying rabbits and feeding cattle, I logged out and mowed my lawn (which made my wife happy). I figure I might as well do a real life chore and get meaningful recognition from a real person (wife) over doing virtual chores in a game that was supposed to be a form of entertainment. I won't return to GW2, because if a game can't "grab" me in the first hour, it isn't going to keep me. For what it is worth, I didn't mow my lawn for almost three weeks when SWTOR went live. It definitely beat the "lawn" test.
  5. I'd like a couple more slots to explore alternate advanced roles on both factions.
  6. Edit: Never mind, I found the main thread.
  7. Since there hasn't been much communication on SGR content, it's most likely lower in priority at this time.
  8. Michael Richards (aka Cosmo Kramer from Seinfeld) thought he was funny too, and then... It's cool. Some folks crack themselves up while others scratch their head in confusion. I crack myself up often. Keep laughing, it's healthy.
  9. I'd love this. However, I'd "settle" to just have a chance to transfer a few on a limited basis using Legacy, etc.
  10. So the dev statement back when the temporary vendor was in place stating that the colors (other than white) would be available for crafting by artificers is no longer true? That would have changed my decisions back then to acquire enough purple crystals for my future alts, and not to bother leveling artifice on my first character. Can you please consider adding a feature to use a Legacy unlock, even with a long cooldown like 30 days, to allow the transfer of a BOP to BOL? This would still keep things rare, and yet allow us to transfer up to 12 per year among our characters.
  11. The suggestion would imply other means to keep your precious stats, just not on the color crystals. Add a power crystal, or other device, to maintain the stats. Free up the color crystals to just add color and flexibility.
  12. It is running on SSD in my high end rig, and it doesn't make a difference.
  13. I'd like to see color crystals lose their stats (endurance, crit, expertise, power, etc), and then increase the use of these color crystals for a variety of things like you suggest here for armor.
  14. Won't that just have "expertise" stat on it? What about power, endurance, crit, etc?
  15. What if we don't want the "expertise" stat and need "endurance" or "crit" as purple? I would have taken vacation time and ground out dailies for credits to buy more of these as well, but it was clearly stated that the purple would be available to artifice crafting after the vendor is removed. Now they are changing that statement months after removing the vendor. I'd like to either craft, purchase or transfer these within my legacy, even if the mechanism and timing are designed in a way to be challenging and limited.
  16. It isn't group finder. I find this to be the case with any FP I do (with guild, with PUG manual build, with PUG from group finder). I don't mind if someone hasn't seen the content and wants to let it roll, and most other folks don't mind either. After I have seen it a couple of times, I spacebar it. If nothing else, to actually keep from hating the repetitiveness of hearing it all so many times.
  17. I'm in TX as well with big rig and high speed pipe. It takes me on average 40 seconds to load in and out of everything. It should be 5 to 10 seconds. SWTOR is the slowest loading game I have installed.
  18. I posted in the general discussion forum about a dev chat quote that contradicts previous statements, and opened the topic for discussion. This thread is placed in the suggestion box forum with details that outline a possible future mechanism to accomplish a limited use work around to the situation, while still meeting the vision the devs have to keep these "rare" in the game.
  19. This isn't a QQ thread about not getting the crystal. It is: 1. Pointing out a dev chat statement that contradicts a dev chat statement just three months ago where it was said that some of these would be craft-able (back when the temporary vendor was available), and now are not able to craft them. 2. Identifying that some of us may have gotten one or more of these crystals, and would greatly desire the chance to transfer them (via Legacy and cooldowns or other means) to our other characters who would benefit more from the color, and/or because we are focused on an alt while waiting on new content and/or after switching main characters. 3. Pointing out that new characters, even for founding veteran players, do not have a means to obtain these crystals and would like to have access to them by some means (ie: Legacy transfer, high dollar vendor credit sink, or crafting community) as a way to further enjoy that new character.
  20. High end rig here running 64 bit, installed on SSD, 8GB RAM, 6 core 4.2GHz, and 4GB Nvidia GTX 690, and highspeed Internet connection. This game loads so damn slow I often ALT/TAB and read entire news stories while waiting to load into different zones, or in and out of PVE/PVP instances, etc. Sometimes I get so distracted that I forget to even bother coming back to the game. Horrible!
  21. Suggestion: Add a Legacy feature that allows the transfer of ONE bound item to another character in the Legacy. Put a 30 day cooldown on the feature if you like, which limits this to only 12 items per year. There are some rare items that many players would like to move to other characters as they explore other alts, story arcs, etc. In some cases, they may retire a character after finding they like a different one as their "new main". One item in particular that I have is a purple crystal from the temporary vendor that I acquired on my first character which is a sniper, and the color didn't enhance the combat visuals at all. I would much prefer to move this bound purple crystal to a lightsaber wielding character in my Legacy.
  22. Same here. I was fully expecting to be able to craft these on my artifice sniper (first character). I could only afford ONE purple colored crystal from that vendor before it was removed. I don't have tons of time to do dailies and grind credits, as I work about 60 hours a week. That purple crystal didn't do anything meaningful in terms of color enhancement for the sniper. I would LOVE to transfer it to a lightsaber wielding alternate character, and could do it if they made these legacy bound. It would be great if they offered a limited legacy usage to move one bound item once a month (30 day cooldown) between legacy characters. Limited to 12 times per year to use a feature like that? Sure would help with folks wanting to explore alts, which extends subscriptions while we wait for more content.
