  1. maybe so, if that is the case then that is pretty cool, i havent played imperial agent all the way either, lvl40 dark side was as far as i went before it got old never being able to group up, and i rerolled a bh on a better populated server. so if thats the case, i apologize for speaking too soon, i was just trying to give examples oh how maybe they could allow someone to switch sides.
  2. i agree, switching sides now would make the class stories redundant unless they really had some good reasoning in the new story that they would inevitably have to add. Say for the trooper, maybe the republic does something that is against ur beliefs? forces u to question their motives. Kind of like an order 66 thing, in which u had to decide to leave the republic behind for what it has become, or stay loyal to it through and through. the new stories would have to really show a weakness or a change in the faction to cause someone to leave for stories involving a trooper or imperial agent.
  3. or they couldve remedied the enitre empire/republic thing by going way way way back in star wars lore to when the jedi first split up into dark jedi and jedi or whatever. then there only is ONE faction, and u make ur choices on where u want ur story to go. maybe someday.... but i have to admit, i still like swtor, it has flaws, but every game does, still waiting to see what bioware does to fix things.
  4. they just should have never had "factions." if you take out the factions, keeping the stories the way they are but just make it so you could visit any planet, not only would there be more people to interact with, but the whole light side/dark side thing could actually mean something other than grabbing gear. Being light or dark could determine who u play with in pvp for example, or they could have made light side/ dark side change ur story... for example: lets say u start as a sith inquisitor, u still begin ur story on korriban, and then dromund kaas but if u decide to make light side choices, planets like tython become available to you. they cant do this now, its too late, but it would have been a much more flexible story if the player was allowed to determine his so called "faction" from the choices he made, and not be stuck wanting to play an SIS Agent but cant, or whatever.

  6. i want to tank, but i want to be viable in pvp as well. so far all the trees ive researched havent gone all the way up for pvp, but have for pve since heat blast gives u the extra -8 in heat, i guess im just stuck between a pvp and a pve build lol!
  7. Im fairly new to MMO's, with SWTOR being the first MMO ive played. Ive ran a few characters (Sith Inquisitor, and Imperial Agent) but eventually deleted them as i was just trying to get a feel for the game. Ive now started again with a Bounty Hunter, Powertech AC, and id like to spec into the shield tech tree but put 11 into the adv. prototype tree for retractable knife. My question is, the current build that i have planned out (28,11,0) looks like this http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#301GorbdRbRGZMsbMoZb.1, what should i do with the final two points? should i put them in iron fist for the extra dps or should i put them into quell or electro dart for more disrupt/stun? Ps: i welcome any advice on the build in general as well, being new ive just looked around at different guides to get an idea of what id want, but any advice from the community is welcomed
