  1. how is it balanced for new players? I had game before anything like interceptors were even introduced and i can tell you its not balanced for new players, for example you have a character for a year and train it to be a ****** scorpion pilot guy who has had it for 3years and has also trained caldari+warfare will dominate you 99.99% of time because player skill is irrelevant to character skill. Warcraft - for fun but fairly competitive gameplay id say World of Warcraft (arena mode is great and you can have fun in 3v3 as well as play to win) but the balance is never right Guild wars - I would never say the game has ever been unbalanced. and I had guildwars pretty much from release.

So after seeing that the vibrosword i wanted wont be available for my new Guardian and most vibroswords don't have images on torhead and other db sites, so i thought it would be helpful for not only me but for many others im sure if those with vibroswords to equip them , take a screenshot for and post it here (along with the name of the weapon)
  4. I play it... its probably the most balanced class of all. the heals are fking terrible. it only just outheals 1 person at a time.
  5. OH COME ON GUYS. EVERYBODY ONLY GETS LIKE.. ONE MEDAL A GAME RIGHT!?. lolJK. l2play issue. get 6+ medals a game and you have more than enough money for skills. i spend 50% of my leveling time in war-zones. and i had way more money then required. in fact i spammed crew missions and vendor 99% of the rewards from them and still had money spare for skills. I've had game like 2weeks now, so that was my first character so i had no money from alts to fall back on either. care to lie some more?.
  6. learn from losing. premades vs pugs shouldn't be allowed? why ever not. premades can be beaten. and losing is only "not fun" if you are playing competitive which means your playing purely to win. im happy enough to just have Queues pop on my server win or lose.
  7. @OP if you were winning and getting the same reward as the loser you'd be complaining that you aren't being rewarded for winning. you can't be pleased. "oh i lose why shouldn't i get a better reward, oh why are losers getting the same reward as us when we are winning" better reward for winning makes 100% perfect sense. quit the QQ
  8. LOLOLOLOLOL oh look a heroic 4. OH WAIT IM ON MY OWN. well im level 50 i guess i could sit in a pvp queue or look for a group. FOREVER. im just kidding everything will be possible to do with just you and your companion only this time.. unlike any other game like oblivion or something where u just roam happily in a large open world.. except YOU'LL BE PAYING A SUBSCRIPTION. but don't worry op at least did state a "lower subscription" better still .. why not just roll call of duty style and release new full games that are the same game in every way just with a different look. and then bring out addons for those games that will end up making you pay the price of the game again! this calls for a facepalm?
  9. server merges will me too much hassle. good luck merging say 2-4 player serves into one. having 2-4 players with the same player name and fighting to log on first to keep it, wondering who the people are they knew from there server before the merge because the players have different names everybody having to choose a new legacy name.. guilds no longer existing because they have to be remade again because of guilds sharing names. cross server pvp is the only thing they should worry about atm, if you want ops/hm's that badly then just join a small pve guild.. i play on a low pop server and there's still several guilds that will run hm's and a couple that run an op like every 2nd day. a form of cross server instance finding is not needed anytime soon in my opinion. mainly because it requires a smaller amount of players (4 for hm, 8 for op's ) where as pvp needs 8+8, and it ofcourse means that your waiting around for 8republics one side and 8empire or worse to get 16 of the same faction.. and seeing 16 people of level 50 online on the fleet at the same time is classed as like middle of "peak time" RantOver.

Frustrating that.. your expected to last 8seconds without being stopped. if your lacking defense on that door they will probably zerg you down and have many jump on the bomb plant. if your trying to zerg a door expect aoe to stop you. which may i add is mainly what ruins this for me... aoe should NOT prevent it. only aoe stuns/knockbacks etc. 3sec plant time.. should be increased to 5second.. and again just damage from aoe should not prevent the effect. teach people to use slows and time knockbacks correctly. the idea is fine.. but the way it's actually working out.. just irritates me to the brink of nerdrage
  11. Merge realms?. then what happens when people from different servers that merged have the same name?. The same guild name even? the same legacy name? if people have to be forced to change these , who's to say which of the 2 players/guilds should be entitled to keep the name , first online on the new merged server wins?. no. dumb idea. also what about if the only way you contacted some players you were friendly with on swtor was in-game and not on a chat program or skype/teamspeak etc.. because you wont be able to find em again because chances are they wont have the same name or surname... or be in the same guild or under the same guild name. cross server is what makes pvp available 90% of the time even if you only merged like 4low pop realms. that's in theory 4x faster/more chance for Queues to pop. if cross server isn't implemented the games pvp community that isn't based on the either the German or English heavy pop servers or the american fatman will pretty much die. no doubt about it. and people shouldn't have to re-roll just to wait 4hours for "peak time" to get pvp queues. so basically... Dumb idea. get out.
  12. its not that i need to, since i haven't really played sential much yet. but i usually have a pre-decided build for when i level before i start the character then once i'm more exp at the class from using it ill change it around a lil more
  13. Okay.. so i wasn't sure fully on what some of the skills are etc.. and whats a must. But when i was looking at it the combat tree just seemed so much superior for pvp.. but i realized that if i dropped the top tier skill i could get another gap closer.. something along these lines. before flaming on bad choices read above where i say that i'm not sure on all the abilities and what they do its more focused around the idea of dropping combats last talent for an additional gap closer im asking about. http://www.torhead.com/skill-calc#501ZhGbRRMrdGZGd0Mz.1
  14. any level of cross server warzones . that would please so many people and myself... had game less than 2weeks... joined server of irl friend.. somewhat dead server -_- , already crying for cross server wz
  15. Arena's -> YES. in games current state-> NO. Ranked Warzone-> Like the idea. but it wont be a good system imo. just like warcrafts wasn't... and if they introduce this i want to atleast see cross realm Queues already because i'm sick of waiting half an hour per queue on my server for non ranked. and i'm saying this from a healers point of view. the heals are way too low. and 3dps teams would destroy any healer without having to use a single CC. if they can work on making healers self survival and healing output better without making them unkillable or take targets from 20% to 60% in a single heal then GOD YES ARENA.

  17. okay.. so it turns out it was only a temp fix. not sure if it just randomly decides to lay itself on top or not after loading screens or if tabbing out could be causing the issue.
  18. Forget it all. after entering a warzone (hitting a loading screen) it seemed to fix the issue.
  19. dislike todays patch. broke my interface... don't like you guys no more </3 so yeah. Basically for my target and focus target i have there cast bars sit on top of where it says target/focus targets name. so when they cast its between the buffs/debuffs and health/resource bar and it fits nicely. when my focus target casts the cast bar shows up perfectly fine, but my actual target's cast bar is in a sort of back layer and sits behind my targets name meaning i cant see the full name of a casting spell or how far into the cast it is, and since i like to play to win i usually interrupt on the last 0.1-0.3 secs of casts.. any suggestions on how i can make it show on top again ? tried lowering the alpha on the target bar but the writing is still showing up too much
  20. l2play issue. learn to 1) Set focus target. 2) Learn to use focus modifier 3) learn how to shutdown a healer.. 4) learn how to use the focus target+modifier to shutdown a healer 5) learn to use knockback abilites to push somebody out of sight of a healer before the heal lands or even to interupt the healers cast 6) if its a melee damage dealer your vs , drag them near to the healer and fight there briefly so u can use an aoe CC/knockback to interupt the healer whilst proceeding to damage deal Basicly several of these don't work out as intended 80% of the time.. but guess what? yup. they still work. im a healer and even i can interupt like.. 3casts in a row from another healer whilst pulling out moderate damage output on a target.
  21. being rewarded for being beaten up doesn't sound like a good idea.
  22. indeed and not only that but if u cant leave once the Q pops then people who decided to go afk will come back once you've already lost and be like "oh... the Queue popped while i was away... oops"
