I have some serious issues with clipping my DOT damage on my sent. I was wondering if anyone has came across an app that once a keystroke is pressed it starts a timer to let me know when my DOT would be finished. Its to difficult to for me to tell which burn is mine on a boss. I haven't had my sent long and im not good with knowing by simply basing it off where I am at in my rotation.

My main is a VG been playing him for 1.5 years. I rolled a sent got him to 55 about 2 weeks ago. My first parse on him was horrid 2100ish. I can now get it to maintain around 2400 but I think I can push it to 2600 with my gear. I am at a bit of a loss how I can increase my DPS. I have read some material on these forums as well as olaf's guide. I leveled in the focus tree but once I hit 55 I switched to watchman. Some objective types would be nice. They should have done solo Q for ranked along time ago. I wish they had/have solo ranked Q for 8v8. With a cross server Qing. Obtaining ranked comms is easier then ever.

Your rotation should be gut, fire pulse, SS, HIB, IP,IP, pulse cannon. It more or less is that simple sometimes you may need to add a filler while HIB is on CD sometimes its 1 sec offset from the rotation. Which for me is usually shoulder cannon. There is a very long and very detailed post on the tactics rotation. I am to lazy to find it for you.

Yeah its flows much better once you hit 55. While leveling i would use AS its just easier.

Can do 95% of the damage?? Where people get there information I am not sure. For one you cant get the auto crit for HIB. Secoundly if you have actually played this spec you would know that you have severe ammo issues to put out sustained DPS. Third the amount of DR you get from ion cell is marginal. The only reason I used/use this spec is to be able to DPS down a target thats on my guard. As going full VG tank was/is still pointless. I have used this spec for the last year. I am not sure why people are finally now QQing when there are other class balance issues that are far more concerning. Or perhaps people remember getting 3 shotted by a VG/PT in a WZ and now hold a grudge pre 2.0.

**** NOOB, but no really I didn't say your a noob that as a team you might have made bad decisions on who to focus first. I started arena's with my guild there mostly all PVE we went 0-6. Then I went 6-3 solo Q, honestly our defense got a nice bump. However once CC'd PG/VT go limp as per usual. I actually advocated burning down the PT/VG a few times in my group first if he was AS/Tactics as I now how squishy I can be. Take also in to consideration you most likely are getting a aoe/single taunt applied to you and if he/she has our bubble popped anyone with that much DR will seem invincible.

O lawdy I knew once PT/VG got a small buff the first QQ thread would be following shortly. 2.4 burst is still no where even remotely close pre 2.0. What your seeing is people actually dusting off there PT/VG and you associate your teams horrid play with a higher population of PT/VG in WZ.

Remeber kids its better to get a small buff then to get over buffed and have people QQ'ing in the forums again to only have the class nerfed back into the ground.

I havent been playing as much as I used to. I still have equipped both EWH power relics. Was wondering if anyone had thoughts static or dynamic relics? What are peoples set ups these days for vanguard pve dps? I have always min maxed my gear for low crit high power > aim set up. I have gave up on pvp for the last 5 months and recently have been doing alot more pve endgame HM. Here are my stats. I haven't ever put to much thought to it however why does the combat tech bonus lack the + crit% that the eliminator set has?

There is no real reward for grinding pvp gear other then it collecting dust for some time. I dont think bolster has a place in end game pvp. Either eliminate expertise or create a new set of starting gear with less of a stat gap between the first and secound tiers. A person that has grinded a full set of basic gear w/ implants, weapon etc shouldnt be out geared by somone new to pvp but has ran some OPS with there guild. PvE players wouldnt like me out performing them in PvE if i was bolstered with my pvp gear.

So to be truly better geared in pvp gear one must min/max w/ purp augments in RWZ gear to stat wise be superior to pve gear in pvp. I thought this was the case I suppose I will sadly continue to bank my pvp gear.
