  1. Yeah, I feel your pain. My biggest annoyance: * The sheer volume of people who don't use the Interrupt skill. Enemy paints a big bullseye on the ground, and entire groups will just run away rather than using interrupt and carrying on. Or just take a Full Auto or missile barrage without trying to interrupt it. * Being in a group that just pulled an entire group of elites without bothering to let you CC, and you just about manage to keep everyone alive, so they continue doing it. * Jedi Knights - We realise that you don't need downtime between fights and that Force leap is fun, but try to let your healer and group re-gain at least half their energy back before force leaping into the next group of elites. * Looting during combat - Almost the best way to forfeit your right to be healed.
  2. The AI issues people have mentioned with Qyzen are not limited to him, all companions suffer them. The couple second delay when being told to attack happens with all non-lightsaber melee companions. Khem-Val, the trooper companions, etc all have this delay. It seems to be due to the animation for them drawing their weapon. Dropping out of combat when in a party, happens with all companions aswell, probably a lot less noticeable with ranged companions as you won't see them walking out of the middle of the fight, but it does occur with them all. Breaking CC - that's just bad players, not an AI issue.
  3. I've noticed the AI thing with all companions I've used, on my Sage and other classes. They all seem to be set to "Protect" by default, and don't engage enemies until you use a basic attack or start taking damage. Once Qyzen is in combat though I've never noticed him have any problems, just the little pause before entering combat. It's an easy workaround, you just send him in first before attacking yourselves, not a huge issue. As for him not automatically attacking enemies going after other group members, none of the companions do that, you seem to be wanting player level intelligence in a companion tank. Considering you are Duoing missions meant for 4 players, you can't really complain about the companions. On the other hand since I've started using Nadia, I've noticed on several occasions when in a group she would start walking back towards me after killing one enemy, and completely ignore the rest of the group in combat. Something I never saw happen with Qyzen.
  4. This isn't a flaw, it is a feature due to the story system. There are various points in your class story where you can make decisions that will affect things later on, the only way for Bioware to have interesting story decisions like this is to limit your story mission progress to one person. Otherwise you could end up doing a story mission where an NPC turns up that one of the participants killed. All other missions should be fine though, the only things I've noticed is that when you have missions where you need to collect xxx number of items, sometimes only one of you has to do it and it triggers for all party members, and sometimes everyone in the party has to find all the items. Not sure if these are bugs or working as intended.
  5. I use WASD to move and various key binds to use skills. Only use the mouse for selecting group members quickly really. Depends on personal preference, but I bound the second quickbar at the bottom to: Q, E, R, T, F, X so that I can quickly use skills while moving. Only time I use CTRL is to order my companion to attack at the start of combat or switch to passive to avoid AE.
  6. Also, after picking your Advanced Class. Visit your trainer, look at the bottom of the window for a new Tab with your advanced class skills.

  8. It was removed by the devs during beta, no idea why or if they plan to replace it.
  9. I ended up giving in and calling Qyzen out, he happily soaked up the punishment while I interrupted Stark's heals.
  10. If you check your map, on the south side (I think), there should be an elevator that says Coruscant departures when you place your mouse over it. Go through there and you should fine the flashpoint entrance straight ahead, ignore that, to the left there should be transport back to Coruscant.
  11. It's really simple, perhaps seeing the system yourself once you get one will help. To break it down, any Orange piece of armor will have 3 mod slots: Armouring Enhancement Mod You can get these mods from various vendors, mission rewards, drops, and they can be crafted. The armouring mods affect the level of the piece of armour itself. This is what enables you to keep one piece for your entire game life. As you level up you just obtain a new Armouring mod that is around your level, slot it in, and the item is kept upto date. The enhancement and mod slots purely affect the stats of the item, and a huge number of combinations can be used to tailor your equipment to your own needs. The variety of stats available increases as you level.
  12. Because Orange items are just shells. Without mods they are all the same. They only gain a "level" rating when you place an armouring, hilt or barrel in them.
  13. I tend to lead with Mind Crush for single Strong and Elite targets and Force Quake for groups of enemies. Got the timing down with Force Quake so the first shockwave hits just as Qyzen lands on the enemy.
