  1. Well, that's the way it's set up now and people are cancelling because of customer service as much as other reasons. And if like you say, the developers see it, do they have any control over customer service? It was a suggestion I made because what is currently available does not seem to be working. It's a shame someone from the company don't answer as quickly as you.
  2. No, that's the forum you're supposed to go to for help from customer service. We need a forum for EA and Bioware upper management to see exactly what their customer base has to deal with. I have never at any business been denied access to a supervisor until this one. There is no customer service oversight or Quality Control. If there was a place just for customer service complaints it would give them a better idea of what they can do to keep some customers. I really doubt a customer service rep that sees a complaint against himself would do anything other than delete the post.
  3. If you read the other forums, there are a lot of posts regarding customer service. I think sutomer service here is an illusion.
  4. I think it would be a great idea if you would create a new forum topic for Customer Service Complaints. It would put all the posts in one area so you could see the scope of the problem rather than having it spread out amongst all the other forums. It is a very real issue for Bioware. People are cancelling thier subscriptions at a fast pace and I really don't think it's going to be stopping any time soon. The customer service for this game is not only lacking but to be honest, it doesn't even exist. It's just an illusion created to think someone is actually there when it's just autoreplies that seem to be set on a timer. If there is really a person answering them, they have no clue what thier job is unless they were told to just placate people and handle as many tickets as you can in a day. Not only do they not read the tickets, they close them without any solution or pass the buck for someone else to do it. That's like telling someone you can't help them that you need to wash your hair. Which means...our customers are not important to us as we think they will continue to play our glitched game and help us fix it while offering no support for anything they lose because of glitches in the game. I hear that a handful actually do get items back after a fight, they must have friends there. But seriously, someone needs to look at all the dissatisfaction of customers leaving due to no customer service.
  5. Good Luck with that! I'm not sure if you noticed but you can only call them if it's a billing issue...that means they are only interested in the money. I agree totally that the customer service in this game uses the term very loosely. Keep in mind tho...They are "Galactic Customer Service Reps" they haven't a clue how it works here on earth. Best thing to do is put it behind you. Looks like they went for the big rush when the game came out, offered the extended prepaid subscriptions to make sure they got the money, then they dropped the ball n went on vacation.
  6. Personally I can see why a lot would leave. SWTOR has issues in the customer service department. I think it's all automated myself. Personally only get generic replies saying no I can't get item back cuz there is nobody wanting to take any time to verify anything was lost. Same with son. Can lose stuff in mail or get taken by a vendor but they don't care how much of your time it wasted. In WoW..I think best time was 5 min and longest was 4 days. In Rift...best was about 15 min and longest 2 days. Both of those returned the items... SWTOR...10 days later wrong answer to ticket, 12 days later update to wrong answer..14 days later no we cant verify..then less than 2 hours to say NO! There will be no returning items when game is at fault...ok..your loss As far as content, I have had many glitches so far...have only had game lil over a month so I'm sure there is more I haven't seen yet. I think when I went to log in there was a hotfix for matrix cubes and asking not to notify customer service that the items will be returned. As I have no clue what a matrix cube is.. I know I got lucky this time and don't have to worry about it. What I have noticed is in order to play the game, a person has to spend time on the forums looking for list of known glitches and try to avoid. Every time you send mail...you need to take a screen shot I guess...Not too sure how to prove you mail something to alt and don't get. Every time you buy from a vendor...take screen shot to show currency before and after said purchase...It's a bit much. I cancelled my sub because of lack of "true" customer service. When glitches in the game cause you to waste hours of time and customer service blows you off, why bother? I decide how I waste my time....You can't pick up the phone and talk to a supervisor..they only take calls in the billing department..thats where the money is...everyone else has to go thru game or forums. Tried getting a supervisor thru game and it's impossible. My point is, if I have seen this much bs already in just the first month...Not gonna pay for more of the same.
  7. I really feel customer service in this game is very lacking. Even when putting in a ticket at the time I was ripped off, it took almost 10 days to get a reply to an issue that was not related, then it took less than 24 hours to be told each time on 3 other tickets that my item could not be restored because the event is over. #1 at the time I put in the original ticket had no clue exactly what the issue was only that dna samples came up missing, updated ticket with new info on more missing the next time it happened....I found out later it was a known issue...why did customer service nto know this and handle accordingly? #2 also at the time, I had no idea that there was a mail issue, but thats the help if you want to call it that, that I got from my ticket. #3 while I am sure you wish everyone was patient and understanding when it comes to being ripped off...reality is, we aren't. #4 KNOWN ISSUE...if its known it should either be fixed or disabled immediately, not continue to cause havoc and frustration for weeks. It has been weeks for me since first ticket was put in on 4/16 and updated 4/18 with the vendor ripping me off. And I just got final answer to come here and post this suggestion here as I can't seem to talk to anyone on the phone or get to a supervisor in any way. #5 Would really be nice if things worked correctly when paying $60 for a game that is not finished. Most customers do not want to pay to find all the bugs in your work. I have now been playing this game for 31 days, funny how I got final answer of no that i am a liar and the things i am missing can no longer be verified the day after my sub renewed. I only left it up to get the answer to ticket that was supposed to have the codeword jupiter and i get my dna samples back but apparently just another hoax as far as i am concerned. The post with that info should be removed if you are not going to honor it. HONOR...haven't seen any around here yet.
  8. It's Friday the 13th. We all know how unlucky it is. Even the game can't get away from the "curse". Don't worry tho, we'll be playing again in no time. Maybe it's a good time to clean off desk, get some stuff done so when game is back online, can play till the cows come home.
