  4. I just bought 5 of each Frogdog and Rotworm personal decals, only to find you can only unlock 1 each? Is this intended? I was pretty stoked to have my own Huttball teams but now I only get a team cap and wasted ranked token...
  5. I used to be an avid player of this game but stopped for awhile because lack of balance and wzs. As the next expansion comes out I started to recall past expansions and it got me worried. I remember when this game was going through a huge loss of population because of lack of content and little communication from the Developers. Then IT came out. The Super Secret project that BW was flowing most of it's resources into Galactic Starfighter! Possibly the BIGGEST waste of time and resources I have ever heard of in a company, such a waste in fact that we no longer see balance updates, never see new ships, maps, or queue pops for that matter. My point being, before you guys start another super secret project at least give us reskinned versions of the warzones we have. For example maybe Novare Coast is covered in snow, maybe it is a beautiful night in Alderaan. Maybe the Voidstar is filled with Rakata Tech. Maybe we get a reskinned hutball where instead of flames you are frozen so the enemy can kill you. Maaaaaybe we get a hutball league with a hutball only queue so we can use those hutball outfits(especially now that we have outfit designers! *hint hint more hutballl outfits*). If you can flush thousands of $ into a unpopular project like GSF then we should at least get some sort or recolored wzs to try and make us forget that we have only 6 warzones in a multi-million dollar game that has been out for over 4 years... Last thing. You BW devs were looking spot on at the end of the last year, you guys were picking on on communication, balance, and content. Then the Revan Expansion came out and I feel as if the devs said "eeh we can take a break now" as you guys took a several month break and stopped being innovative. The communication went down, the livestreams were the same story being played over and over and over and over and over again. I felt as if the Devs stopped caring about the game. That I can appreciate, if you are working on any project for so long it becomes monotonous. However it's you're job to care, to be innovative, to search for new ideas on how to improve the game. On a lighter note, after taking a couple month break I have been back playing for a couple weeks and I enjoy the game! I love the super xp boost from leveling story it definitely brought me back to the roots of why I play this game, lightsabers!

  7. We just had a *12 experience and a *2 experience. Everyone should have a few pubs at 60 now. I wish I had that queue sync with pubs. I'll get 2 troll games imp side, head pub side and face 3 teir 1 players and an assassin. -_-
  8. IMO the problem isn't gear or bolster, it's trolls. I have seen plenty of people who are in almost full Dark Reaver gear who do absolutely 0 dmg either by running into matches and dieing, straight standing alone, or leaving matches after the start. I can't even get 3 matches (if I'm lucky ) without landing with one or two of these guys. What's funny is because I get trapped with these guys my rating goes down with them and I will be trapped in Elo hell. This problem has been going on Since season one and each season it's a new set of toons killing the queue so banning accounts doesn't fix the problem. There needs to be a vote for trolling button so that those players can be taken out of queue for a few hours if they get 9 reports in a 1 hour time span.
  9. I am not sure why you think I was posting L2P as I never typed that anywhere. This is a feedback thread and I was providing a detailed feadback from actually playing a merc in ranked matches. I even detailed how they should be changed, the class does not need a complete overhaul. Do mercs get globaled sometimes? yes, however that happens to everyone, even Top Tier sorcs get globaled. Guides are for PVErs, if you level through pvp you don't need a guide to know how to kite or set your burst up when enemies are attacking you. Ps the fact that you read positive feedback about a Merc as some L2P advice makes me think you may actually need to L2P....
  10. lol excactly this^ good example of someone who doesn't understand a class. Each attack is not hitting for twice the dmg it should be hitting. However for someone who doesn't understand the class, the look at the scoreboard and say, " they should have half that dmg".
  11. Instead of crying about hatred assassins and praying for their nerf explain what you think could be changed about the class. A lot of people cry about classes because they tear them up yet have no idea what is being done to them so they cry nerf and then *poof* Ops are nerfed. IMO the only thing that could be done to nerf hatred without breaking the class is by taking away the dot spread from a death field. Anything else would be nerfing the assassin class to punish them for killing you. Maybe it's utilities that you want nerfed but honestly utilities aren't that crazy, except for the dmg reduction while stunned utility in the first teir when it is in the sorcs masterful teir. The anti cc utility is fine as the cd is a long one and it is a masterful utility. Assassins are scary because they are stealthers with cc, burst , and mobility. However the player base's fear of them is the biggest defense, if you know what their cd look like they are as squishy as a sorc without his bubble. Yet because the assassin is a big scary class it is usually the last to be attacked therefor gets the most dmg done. The spec is very easy to play don't get me wrong, however is is hardly different than a class that can charge at you, has anti cc, can hit you for 9k and has lots on cc abilities, whos aoe spreads their dots, aand has heavy armor. And no one talked about that other class being Op. ( Jug def not Op don't nerf! D: )

  13. Bastion. I play arsenal. I have 8% alacrity 22% crit and 74% surge. I am min/max dark reaver except for 5 armorings which are exhumed. Here my feedback: The merc is a glass cannon that plays like a heavy hitting lightning sorc with less aoe in its rotation. The most confusing thing I found when I first looked at the Merc after not touching it is a few months was Kolto shot. At first it seemed like a wasted of a move because of its low heals. However as I got used to it I now appreciate it for its quick heals while I am kiting around humping pillars those 1.5-2.3k instant heals will offer some relief while refillingy 10 charges for my supercharge. Instants: with the new move priming shot out tracer missle is now instant making it not only easier to kite but easier to get to your 5 stacks of tracer lock makin your rapid scan another instant heals. In this respect a merc actually has better TEAM offheal capability than a sorc does because the merc now has 3 instant heals. (The rapid scan generally heals for a little over 5k however I have had it crit for 10k) . The problem with rapid scan is the CD. There are times when I know I should be able to heal however both of my instants will be on CD. My solution is to make rapid scan have a 8 second CD from 12. Heavy hitting: What makes this class fun is how hard it hits. I can regularly hit for 12k and got a 15k for the first time last night in a rank match even with the opponent wearing pvp gear.With most of the Mercs abilities being heavy hitters or armor de-buffers and the crippling power of electro net all it takes is a little bit of teamwork in order to blow someone up very quickly. The sorc is my main and while I love the bubble, unnatural preservation, and a super self stun force barrier the burst and electro net are a great counter. Now what can be improved on: Hydraulic overrides needs to have its cd reduced. I don't know the exact numbers it should be, however it does not compete with force speed, roll, or force charge. The range needs to be increased on priming shots: right now sorcs and snipers have 35 meter range on a couple of their moves and Mercs seem o be forgotten about. Obviously no heavy hitters should be a 35 meter range. However a priming shot with a range of 35m would give the merc time to get a couple tracer missiles off because he is hounded and interrupted by all of of the enemy. I would say tracer missle should have 35m range too but that's not as much of an issue. Kolto overload: The problem with a merc is if you bring it up to the survivability as a sorc then it would be OP. The Mercs job is to be a glass cannon and not meant to be the last man standing. That being said Mercs are one of the first targeted and have very little to defend against getting ambushed while most classes do have an Oh $h!t ! button. I think making kolto overlaod giving a 15-25% dmg reduction would fix this enough For new Mercs: Don't come into ranked with anything less than full purple augmented pvp gear with your left side dark reaver your mainland dark reaver, and min/maxed mods dark reaver. If you come in any earlier than that you are going to have a bad time, Mercs are very gear dependent. Conclusion: I honestly enjoy my merc. Other people don't mind when I come in either generally because they know I actually know how to play the class, and because I'm a fat pink twilik named majin-buu who looks pretty spot on. It could definitely use some tweeks but merc is in a lot stronger place than it was pre 3.0
  14. They will no longer be going over slot machines, even though the walker icon is bugged and certificates rate limit nerfed so hard that having legendary rep is useless. Smart bait and switch from them though. Get everyone to legend rep quickly then nerf certificates in order to force people to buy packs to get certificates+Blame the community for requesting the nerf=profit.

  17. This wasn't an easy fix apparently because the walker mount is a 90% speed bugged piece of trash. my point being that this was not a issue that needed to be rushed. It was not even a bug! The Contraband Slot Machine is not bugged. It is 100% not an exploit to use the Slot Machine. If you feel the desire to sell access to your Stronghold, that’s totally up to you. As a reminder, do not scam people as that is against ToS. We added the Slot Machine as a fun idea based on the positive feedback from the Nightlife event, so spend those credits to your heart’s content! With that being said, we do hear the concern from many of you around the effects of the Jawa Junk’s drop rate on the economy. We are going to take a look at it and make changes accordingly. I will let you know once I know more. In the meantime, have fun So this was not a bug and not an exploit yet it was nerfed so hard that the Jawa scrap may as well not even be a prize. I spend $222750 credits and had a single blue Jawa scrap to show for it as apposed to last night when I would receive 1 certificate, 3 purple jawa scrap, 3 blue jawa scrap, and 5 green jawa scrap from $50000 worth of tokens. It is unbelievable the size of this nerf.
  18. This nerf is ridiculous. Bw you changed this machine from a fun excuse to hang out in my stronghold to a complete mind numbing moneysink . Not only did you made the useful loot almost non-existent. I used 3 stacks on 99 coins and Got a total of 1 jawa scrap. 0 certificates, 0 green jawa scrap, 0 mount. I got plenty of worthless rep tokens that I had maxed out on last week. I thought, this rate is terrible but I usually have bad luck I wonder how others are doing. What do I see when I check online? Over 50 pages of posts with thousands of posts with similar results that I had. Even the walker mount looks to be bugged after being rushed into the game?! You guys made me so happy when you brought this into the game. This weekend I was thinking "man swtor has really improved is qol for its Subs this was a great way to start 2015 I'm looking forward to this year". That no longer seams like the case. There are literally dozens of things that could and should be fixed/implemented into this game before the slot machines were nerfed into oblivion. You guys could have put the change in 3.1 when you had time to actually look at the drop rates and actually put the walker mount into the rewards correctly. That synthetic energy matrix being required for Dark Projects for example would have been a MUCH better fix to put into the patch( and a whole lot simpler I would imagine. I makes absolutely 0 sense to implement the change so soon because obviously no one actually had time to look at the rates. The post came out on Friday afternoon, I assume you guys don't work Sundays, Monday was a holiday. So you had 2 maybe 3 days to look at it. Keeping in mind that this was said specifically that using this machine was not an exploit by the community manager, the community assumed that the drop rate would change slightly. not destroyed. I can only hope that this was one of the many bugs that happen after a patch and your dev team are going to take a look at it and make changes accordingly Ps. as a side note. If for some crazy reason these changes were intended then change the walker mount to a faction specific Rancor mount. I would pay millions for the chance at another of those. You guys have started to overdo it with walker mounts... Also the lack of communication is terrible. I understand seeing the posts that Eric may want to talk to the dev team before getting back to us again but at least let us know that you checked up on the issue and are looking into it, instead of letting your community spend literally millions of credits for next to nothing in return.

  20. IMO the best solution is to make the bracket 50-59. War hero gear at 50 bolsters very well especially augmented at 51 everyone gets a special move, and lvl 53 gear bolsters very well. I honestly don't think this would make queue times that much slower. I know that once I hit 30 I don't feel like pvping till 50 just because that is a huge gap to be fighting.
  21. I'm not sure why it's taken 11 pages to go over why a 8 second self stun is not OP. If you want to make their barrier useless then cc and or knock back the sorc immediately after barrier ends, effectively making the sorc useless for about 13 seconds and cool downs usually depleted. This is a 3 minute cd that makes your team work harder when you use it. And if for some reason barrier was taken away(it won't be) sorcs will receive an even stronger move that will make them more mobile with the same indestructibility. If you have a problem with barrier it is a l2 cc issue, the same u would use on classes using ED,UR,KO,FS.Evasion.
  22. So I debated testing out alac just because of its uselessness pre. 3.0 I started out going with 6% alac. Which turned out to be giving the same advantage at 3.5% so I decided to give up on the alacrity and just go with dark reaver power/surge combos. Once I had just about completely min/maxed and augmented I decided to test out the alacrity so see if I could tell the difference. I took my alacrity to 10%. What this ended up doing was took my thundering blast and a couple other moves to a 1.1 sec cast time. I noticed my instant moves went off a whole lot faster and I could get a several moves off before my enemies could finish a cast. I noticed a slight increase in survivability because of the increase speed at which I could l apply my unnatural preservation, bubble, and resurgence. My final conclusion for whether or not to go full alac or surge: If you are going to go alacrity build wait until you have about 10 pieces of alacrity. Go with surge until then. Also if you are new to the game don't spend your time trying to gear this way. You most likely not notice the difference or be worth your time. Keep in mind. I queue almost exclusively ranked arenas so my experience is only for this. I also play primarily lightning spec, now dots will be tick faster and activation and channel times will be lower so madness should have even better results. However I haven't done enough testing with it since 3.0 to give a strong enough opinion. Also your surge will be significantly lower. With all the alacrity my surge was brought down to 51% which is crazy low compared to the usual 75%. However in situation liked ranked where life is usually a dps race , I find that getting off more abilities comes in handy more often then the increase in surge. Now my dps stays about the same number wise (with a slightly lower "biggest hit"). So you won't notice a loss in dps because of the surge. I will try and upload a pic of my character and stats later on tonight or tomorrow.
  23. So my sniper earned a the weapon reward box. I read on the dev notes that this would contain every weapon, however there was no offhand vibroknife. I find this to be equally as important to the offhand saber and blaster. Was this intended or a bug?
