  1. Maybe they hired a designer from WoW... I remember being shown by someone at work the various armors his characters and classes were having... **** those armors were ugly as hell (even he said so) and had all the freaking colors of the rainbow.
  2. Who cares how old you are... On the I'net you are as old as you make yourself appear and even that is of no importance. People who are annoying or give trouble because of age, just put them on ignore and have fun with the majority who just does not care.
  3. If it was trully à mask I would not be bothered! But this "mask" is part of their face. As if they are genetically mutated aliens... (and I was under the impression that the Sith were mostly Human/pure blood fascists)
  4. Didn't read the whole thread, but still like to spend my 2c... The fact that Quinn betrays the warrior is not so much à major annoyance for me. For me it is à major annoyance that nobody else from the crew is supposed to know about it. I want to be able to place the shock collar removed from Vette around his neck. Then whenever I feel like it I activate à special "shock collar" ability and hear Quinn behind me scream in terror. Killing my only competent healer would be stupid... Making him suffer for his mistake is not. Right now the movie cutscene is cool, the whole you are angry thing... Untill you get to the point that all you say is..."bad boy... You are lucky I need a pilot or else you would be dead now" I flew from Dromund Kaas to Balmorra with only Vette to assist me, why would I suddenly need him.
  5. The difference can arise from doing your quests while in a rested state (green experience bar) instead of the yellow experience bar... The difference is that while rested you gain I believe double experience per mob that you killed while doing your planetairy missions. In comparison to mission rewards the experience gain per mob is low, yet in the long run it could cause this difference.
  6. I actually like the system from KOTOR 1 and 2. Despite it being a bit too easy for a MMO it was easy to understand and use. I am also highly in favour of gaining skill only in skills that you actually use. I never understood the reasoning behind why using a sword at the same time makes me able to fight with an axe with the same ease. I actually loved stonekeep despite its boring grind for this very reason
  7. The most important issue that I see on this forum in general is that the behavior of some of the players can be called underage... This is I am afraid a direct reflection of today younglings in general. Since I have seen it not only in various MMO’s, but also in real life. The younger generation tends to be a lot more: - Impatience (every error that is discovered has to be fixed right away or else I will whine on the forums about the fact that I will quit soon) - Lazy (every thing should be made as easy as godly possible and if possible even more easy). - Seeing only black/white (No compromises are possible and only their views are truth). To me personally all the whining on the forum makes me smile, because it is truly the same on all the MMO forums… Well except maybe SWG when it was still playable since that was heavily moderated especially after the NGE patch and punishable not only with a forum, but also ingame perma-ban. I just have to quote this for truth… Plenty of F2P MMO’s available. I currently pay for 1 sub of SWTOR from the moment my 30 free days are over (because I do not intent to quit just yet) and 2 subs in an MMO called Istaria, a small PvE niche MMO that is in my eyes atleast a million times better then WoW, but it is a nice game only with very limited PvP and while I do not play it anymore it still deserves the funding for all the hard work the development team keeps doing. Some of you I agree with and have a right to complain (thanks to all the whining on the forum about servers with very few players I chose the best filled EU server I could find back then), but there are players who whine just to be heard it seems. As far as I personally go with MMO’s is: 1. I play a trail. 2. Do I like the trail I sub for 1 month. 3. Do I not like the trail I uninstall and forget about the game forever if possible. Even when I decide to go beyond the trail period and start paying or when I decide to take a leap and just pay for 1 month when the game has no trail I keep playing and paying up until the moment I no longer see fit to. To put is simple… Is the game fun for me or is it worth my money? If yes I keep paying, if no my account is cancelled the game uninstalled and they will probably never see me again. As for actually giving Bioware time... First came a game called Dragon Age: Origins … Really cool game. Then more and more expansion were created… Each expansion more bugged and disappointing then the next.
  8. During a fight there are abilities that use focus or rage, and there are also abilities that regenerate a certain amount of focus or rage. I am not sure if à Jedi Warrior type character gets the same abilities as a Sith Warrior, but as à Sith I have the standard slash attack, charge, choke ect. to recharche my rage. Read the descriptions for your abilities. It mentions which ability costs or produces focus or rage. Hope this helps!!
  9. Annoying!!!! These kinds of threads are verf usefull and could use à bump time to time.
  10. I had the same thing happen to me while I was on that prison planet. Never happened before and after I left that world it also never happened again and I finished my class quest as Sith Marauder. Stil I understand your pain. It was quite annoying.
  11. I really think that you fail to complete all the quests on the Planet. Taris for example had my intense hatred because of the LONG never ending questline. Both from class quests, losers who need your help because them are stupid, but alsof the neverending bonus questline were 1 finished quest results into at least 2 new quest givers. I suggest looking in every taxi exit on the planets... In general those places have the most quest givers.
  12. Better yet... When will we be allowed to place a shock collar on Quinn. Killing companions will never be an option, yet selecting one to wear the collar might be fun.
  13. At the end of chapter one...
  14. Species who are rare and very uncommon should never become common... Not even as compannion.
  15. I am growing quite fond of this game, the only problem that I currently have with it is that it is even more linear then SW:KOTOR 1 or 2... In both SW:KOTOR games you started on a tutorial planet, after which eventually you recieved 1 quest consisting of 3 parts, which could be done in any order. The planet you finished last would be scaled to your level (up to a point). This allowed me in all my run throughs to choose which planet I would go to first this time. Right now I know that when I finish my Marauder to lvl 50 and start actively playing my Sorcerer I have to do the exact same planets in probably the exact same order that I did before. Also some planets are not Huge... There are simply too many quests. I have grown an intense hatred for Taris simply because when I finished a quest I got 2 more in its place and when that was all finally done you got the Bonus series also with about 15 quests or so.. and you did not receive all the missions at the same time, no off course not 1 or when lucky 2 freaking quests at a time. Some more planets instead of the bonus series would be nice or lvl 20-50 planets with instances that scale to the lowest or highest leveled partymember. It does not have to be so that the entire planet should be accessable from the start...
  16. With all due respect, but I didn't discover about the event 5 days before it ended... Before maintenance on Tuesday I got 2 lvl 50 xtals and 1 lvl 31 xtals. I was already playing when the color xtal vendors were still ingame, but never knew they existed untill after they were removed... Sure it sux since I would have loved to see what the vendor had to offer, but thats the game... It changes I agree that the event was fun, but after finishing the daily quests quite boring... Standing in a large group waiting for the explosion to come.
  17. I have not come this far, nor will I with my current Sith Warrior since I am heading towards Force Crush in the Rage tree. However I still wanted to reply... Why would a Sith Warrior be walking around with a broomstick instead of 1 or 2
  18. I am not quite sure how OP a sorceror really was, but so far I am having fun on Dromund Kaas and have died atleast 10 times less then with my Warrior while on Korriban. I ran through the missions while on a high speed train, due to healing, but also the lightning attacks.
  19. This indeed... I am a Sith Lord who kills those who annoy him (when possible) and then a medical droid is talking to me like that... I would rather kill the droid then my ships droid. At least my ships droid aplies a fresh coat of paint to my quarters... The same colour only fresher.
  20. This topic is hilarious eventhough I didn't start to read it from page 90'ish...
  21. Please do not forget that for you it might be overnight, but for others it might be during the morning/afternoon or evening. Not that I care about the downtime since I got 200+ dvd's over here to watch if I wanted to... That is a whole lot of freaking downtime. For me personally this patching is happening during most of my prime time. Home alone, wife is still at work so just peace and quiet... I could have had a 15'ish hour game day... Now it is only 8... But I think that I will survive. Anyway according to their own estimates it is only 45'ish minutes left before servers should be back online.
