Well, it was back before all the nerfs, and I remember one time I failed to mount the throne and click a crystal properly. Everyone got frustrated and the group fell apart after one wipe, even though I was very clear I was new to the fight. Another time there was one wipe (don't remember the reason), and someone ran out of time. I do study - read and watch vids, but watching and doing are quite different.

Thanks for the heads up, on one hand I feel ya about it being a shell. That's how I felt about DF and TFB as well. Too easy, and I'm a storymode casual if there ever was one. But sounds like I'll finally be able to clear it, maybe on all my tanks, so that's good. Once I get my full 216s and my set bonus, I'll start getting into some hard modes.

Hi all, DP is in group finder tomorrow, and I'm itching to do it. I've tried to tank the OP a couple times in the past on my Guardian, but have not done well; whether it be due to my lack of experience or impatient groups as I learned the mechanics. I've cleared all bosses except the final fight with the council. What I'd like to know is, how have things changed in 4.0? What mechanics have changed? What is the same? How have your PUG runs gone? I'm in a good guild, but my availability doesn't line up with their schedule. Thanks in advance for your answers!

16 man ops groups form ALL THE TIME on the Red Eclipse, and are successful many time (because of overhearing and a few knowledgeable leaders)... My suggestion would echo others I have read - increase comm rewards for 8 man ops to make them more attractive. And OP... Relax dude.

IMO by far the most useful things to use your CCs on are legacy unlocks like rocket boots, ship droid gtn and mailbox, repair droid and field mail, field respec, stuff like that.

Yes you can. The only thing that can't be moved between armor sets is a dye module. Keep in mind thought that if your gear has a set bonus, the armoring becomes bound to slot so that the armoring from a chest piece for example can only be placed in another chest piece and so on. That may be true for non- set pieces as well, come to think of it.

Force breach is NOT a shadow's AOE taunt... It's called mass mind control, if I recall from playing my 50+ shadow tank...

I get what you're saying, OP, I do, but for me, the few ops I've run have been the most fun I've had in-game. I am the epitome of the casual player. I have run EV on all modes and cleared them - most recently NiM for my infernal title, which I wear proudly. I have cleared SM KP with guildies, and failed at HM KP with mostly pugs - a bit disappointing, but still fun. And my pug EC SM group absolutely failed and fell apart at the Vorgath puzzle. My highest aspiration is to clear TFB and S&V on STORY mode... Give EV SM a chance, then let us know how it goes. It is an epic experience, and I recommend trying. And guilds are good to run with.

Wow, this cracked me up... Good luck man, and yes, you need lots of "mony" and/ or you need to farm the Gree event on Ilum when it is running - check the swtor website... It comes around,what everyone, maybe every 4-6 weeks? Oh, and the next round is supposed to be tuned to level 55 so you will want to get all leveled up- you will need ROtHC to get to level 55.

Tython and Ord Mantell DO have lowbie world bosses, of a sort... There is the large droid who hangs out in the pavilion on Tython, and on Ord Mantell there is a Savrip Champion on the island where all the heroics are...

I REALLY like this idea... Maybe just 1 or 2 coins per piece, but yes!

You do it at a modification station, and if I remember correctly, you should unequip it first. I think there was once a bug and I don't know if it has been fixed. When you unequip it, it goes in the mission items tab of your inventory.

Honestly yes, it's your level. Even with bolster, you don't have the abilities needed to keep up with players at level 30 and 40+. Don't worry, as you level and get experience, things will get better!

Absolutely. Never mind the fact that you need the experience in lower level content in order to learn the theories that make you successful in higher level content. The gear is only one part of it.
