Space missions should only help gear up versus space missions. Maybe more orange gear from the rep vendor but giving elite coms makes as much sense as giving warzone coms.

EA/Bioware signs contract for Star Wars Licensing for the game. Disney purchasing LucasFilm and all assets does not null and void said contract. Whatever the terms of the contract were, I am sure there was a time frame in those terms. Disney would have to buy out the remaining contract, which I imagine would be FAR more expensive and less profitable than just allowing the game to remain under those terms. You have nothing to fear but your own distrustful psychosis.

I prefer it as it is, you see a 50 in custom gear, you know they not only bought it via GTN or Cartel Market and liked it enough to go through the mod work to keep it. If the effort doesnt meet the reward for you, dont try and take away the effort portion because you see it as unfair. It isnt unfair, unfair would be taking away the accomplishment of others so you can have it now without any effort.

Tionese, Columni and Rakata were all left with the set bonus in the shell because people modified their armor big time beforehand and if they changed the armoring... they would of lost the bonus. It prevented them from retroactively making the bonus attached to the armoring. The higher tiers began at this update, so there was no pre existing conditions with it so that tier and beyond were attached to the actual armor mod. Only feasible way I could see them bypass that issue is to make set bonus armorings for sale independently for all tiers like campaign, or at least crafted by cybertechs.

This is NOT pay to win, this is pay extreme amounts of $$$ to simply be on par with win. What cartel items are worth that much credits? What are your chances on getting a Revan Mask, Diplomat Mount or anything worth while? The chances are so low that this model you claim to exist, in fact does not. Can you augment your end game progress with credits funded from the cartel market victorious bag RNG rolls? Yes, but as a means to completely fund it? Not a chance. The amount of cash it would take is so insane I say let them try, their funding will bring profitability and new content.

Run content for $$$ and buy it off the GTN. You can even role play it that the item you desire is being sold by a shady black market merchant and you are taking on odd jobs to get the credits necessary. Not every relic of lore is waiting to be unearthed. Some lie in dust on the bargaining tables of the galaxies most nefarious of vendors. The cartel market only is an issue if you actually let it be.
