  1. So I know the sith were inately force sensitive and bred with the order and yada yada yada. my question is, in the event of a Miralukan in the empire (however rare) would they be treated as a sub-parr race(alien racism) even though they're SO similar to humans? or would they be fine because they're pretty much humans with very high force sensitivity?
  2. not spoiling where it says, but there is somewhere in game where I believe it says if The empire was whiped clean of ALL original sith blood, that it would be over 95% of the imperial population. Meaning that the majority of the entire empire at some point or another intermingled with the sith species itself.
  3. I despise the rule of two. I always wondered though...if there's that ONE sith who doesn't quite do what every other sith is, and moreso allows the force to flow through him as it wills rather than bending it to his will (I mean...not every sith feeds off hate and anger, the fact that in this era force sensitive people are forced into it...) Would they be exempt from such a thing? What if they didn't take an apprenctice? etc.
  4. from what I know(vaguely and I don't have a specific source) Those with mild force sensitivity are only taken to korriban if a sith detects that they would be able to manifest the force into use. Example: if someone can FEEL the force but not use it, they are more than likely going to be put into the military and subjected to working closely with the sith, but will probably not be trained at the academy due to it being useless. The only problem with a miralukan...is that because of their race specifically, I feel like they would automatically be powerful enough to manifest the force. an exception, in your case...would be if they could only manifest the force as far as their own physical body, and not being able to extend it outwards. Someone with connections in the military or with a sith family member would also probably be able to evade even being taken to korriban initially. I love the idea of a miralukan sniper, I feel like they'd be really good at it.
  5. He talks about it in one of his companion conversations.
  6. I RP my sith as being heavily aware of it, and still...holding his own judgements, but he's smart enough to be willing to awknowledge power regardless of if somebody is a slave or not. I don't think it's JUSTIFIED...but I think if you're going to RP a sithy sith, then yes, you wouldn't exactly be overly friendly to alien species(even if they aren't slaves) Then again some non traditional sith might not care as much.
  7. Healer classes....in every game, should be that way. Healers should be able to heal themselves and not die, untill they run out of power(which if you aren't a horrible player, we eventually do), or you team up on them, in which case they will not be able to keep up and will probably fall. Also, along with their power eventually dying out, yes they can sustain themselves, but typically as a healer(at least for me) although I can stay up for a prolonged amount of time, I(the healer) would probably not be able to simultaneously fight you off offensively without depleting my power. When they start to fight back and heal at the same time...it really just comes back to who's hitting harder and whos power and utilities will run out faster. wanna talk about unkillable? bounty hunters =.=
  8. the perspective helps a bit, I just need to maybe alter...1 or 2 pieces of gear to ratio correctly. but the quesiton still kind of remains. around what should my alacrity % be on the character menu?
  9. indeed. so should I swap out some of my +power augments for +alacrity ones? I checked and I'm at 7% for alacrity. all my other stats are balanced fine. I don't do much raiding, since I'm always at school and work...but yeah
  10. yeah I agree, at the timeline she appears in-game she's not very interesting. but I have to say isn't she one of the only people who's ever stopped a lightsaber using the force? so I'd say lore-wise she's pretty damn interesting. I feel like...I also agree in that the interesting jedi are almost never grand masters/masters or even council members. Lower ranks have more room for a more interesting present story. Sith, oddly enough...I find really boring BECAUSE they're so unique
  11. agreed on the crit that everybody else is saying. playstyle comes into it a bit too I'm unaware as to the current need for alacrity as mine is at 7% but....I know surge and power are major factors. my surge is at about 75% or so...I think. and I super pump up my Power stat with augments.
  12. ok so....two questions. I'm re-optimizing because I've come back and just reached 55. While my equipment I got at 50 is still better than a lot of normal equipment, aside from the new raid stuff, I've been slowly upgrading to new stuff....along with all of the augments. my question is...what % should be alacrity be at? should I sacrifice some willpower and +power augments to increase alacrity? mine is at about 6-7% right now I don't quite recall. my second question. are there any tree points in seer that aren't really neccesary? I used my last extra point to get rank 1 double-project, but ideally I'd want rank 2 of double-project...I'm not really sure what I don't need from the updates to the seer tree and what I don't. and i guess a third bonus question: if some of my older raid gear that's 50 has better enhancements than the new stuff...is it acceptable to mix-and match?
  13. so I saw a post yesterday about this but upon searching for it, I can't find it. Does anybody know if there is a fix as of yet for the infinite load screen? stuck at 25%, can't log into either of my mains.... I don't have many days off lately and I'd like to get some play time in. I don't feel like puttering around on some low level character, and I'd rather not be stuck out of my 50's forever.
  14. So I specc'd into defense so I didn't get swattedl ike a fly, but I'm getting close to getting my healing companion, so I figure I can switch back into DPS. I was using focus before, but never even considered a vigilance build. Anybody mind telling me the pros and cons or Vigilance and focus? I largely only PvE, the only time I PVP is for daily missions.
