  1. Watching as the entire enemy team chases our ball carrier in huttball up to the first fire pit mid level on their side: as it looks like there is no hope for our ball carrier to survive, I jump down from the upper rafters right as the fire ignites on my Sith Assassin named "Hope", then using overload to knock all 8 into the fire during a full respawn lockout. Hexakill.
  2. The problem is however that I have never been pulled by anything other then a BH or trooper pull. The Shadow and Assassin pulls seem to be resisting like they are suppose to be.
  3. There are times when force shroud resists the bounty hunter and trooper pulls completely, like intended. Then other times when I've clearly activated my force shroud, the pull effect still works and moves me. I am thinking it has something to do with the talented version of the BH/TR pulls (maybe resisting the pull but not the root, and moving me to the spot where the root was intended. I have so far tested the untalented version of the pull, and it does not move me, as intended. I will have data on the talented version ASAP.
  4. There are many people who called the end of this game prior to its release. I, like a few others, tried to argue the fact that this game is being made by, not only, the best RPG gaming company of this decade, but also being produced by one of the largest, most profitable media companies on the planet. Sadly, at the moment it seems like my group of Bioware junkies may be wrong this time. As with the current ending of Mass Effect 3, Bioware seems to be making all the wrong decisions and getting all their companions killed in the process. At this point, it almost seems as if Bioware is giving up on their near masterpiece. I am here if only to try and raise some eyebrows. You already know about your subscription losses, in fact I think after this mornings news about the EA stock drops, many people know what you're doing to the game. Here's a little advice, whether to care to take it or not. Don't hold things back. The players that stayed with you this long may have complained left and right about bugs, but they didn't leave because of them. In fact, this could be the buggiest game in history, but as long as you keep producing new content quickly, provide what players want in the game, and most importantly, keep us up to date ALWAYS, then we don't mind that it takes you the 2 months to fix the Soa bugs that made it a random kill chance. Yes, they're annoying, but at least a month after release you gave us a new raid. The only way you can save yourself from dropping below 100k subscribers in the next year is to step up the pace and give us what we expect from an MMO. Please don't screw yourselves. We love you and we love Star Wars, that's why we're here. Give us reason to trust in you, not force us to stay with free game time...
  5. Very bad choice. The majority of players and guilds looking forward to 1.2 had rated wz's as priority. Even if there were bugs or imbalances, weekly patches to fix/balance would be infinitely better then it's removal.
  6. You attempt to program 19 GB's of info into the half baked Mac OS programming language and release it without nearly doubling the cost of the entire project and increasing the release time by 1/3.
  7. For assassins, Khem Val uses vibroblades. Also it would be cool for a Jugg to have one geared out.
  8. I like the idea of Space Station battles and open world objectives on every planet, but other then that, I disagree. A lot of the ideas you have are good and might be fun, but they would take away from the base concept of this game. This is Star Wars. There are always two major sides. Empire at War tried a third faction and it turned out feeling like a Starcraft wannabe. Star Wars has amazing, epic battle moments without the need of dramatic third person fluff like in almost every other sci-fi movie, game, or other. I signed on to play Star Wars. Everything else is secondary. And don't get me wrong. I'm a PvPer at heart. I'd rather pvp for 6 hours straight just queueing for warzones then do one quest. But I joined this game so I could be a part of the next Star Wars saga. Not another wannabe ripoff like galaxies that tried too hard to fit everyone into the original movies.
  9. Huttball is amazing. We need more warzones like it, and especially more destructive environments!!! More things that hurt or stun players! Maybe something like the on-off shield generators in Star Wars Episode I! Or traps around a map or something!

  13. "Items placed in a quickbar are no longer removed when training abilities." WooooooooT! Aaaand... "Added several new preferences for cooldown appearance: Show Ready Flash: Toggles a bright flash when an ability finishes cooldown. Show Global Cooldown Ready Flash: Toggles a bright flash when an ability finishes global cooldown. Cooldown Style: Changes the art style for the cooldown graphic. Global Cooldown Style: Changes the art style for the global cooldown graphic. Show Cooldown Timer: Toggles cooldown time text on top of the ability icon in the quickbar." WooooooooT! x2
  14. Incorrect. Alacrity is not as useful due to the fact that it ONLY effects cast times. The small amount given would be fine if it had similar effects to WoW, meaning more heal ticks on HoTs and perhaps gcd buffs for the BH's auto attack heal; giving operative/BH healers a less reason to stack crit/surge because their abilities all would stack evenly like they did with crit/surge. At the moment, the only heal class given incentives to stack alacrity is in fact sorcs who rely on channels and cast times for everything.

  16. Most people look at Assassins as having "weaker" mitigation then Juggernauts. When it comes to standard armor mitigation, this is true. However, Assassins unlike Juggs have more even stats. Being able to mitigate up to 22%+ from internal/elemental damage unlike the Jugg and BH's 12%. Taking about 5-8% more damage from energy/kinetic damage, a bonus 10% from internal/elemental damage types as well as the higher base health then the Bounty Hunters, and barely lower then Juggs; all plus a constant stream of life regenerating abilities with dark charge + HD mixed with force lightning, I find the Assassin to be the most useful tanking class in the entire game. Check out my Stream and follow my channel for more information on how to play Assassin! VVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVVV
  17. This is mostly true as most stuns are around 3 seconds. However the resolve bar will fill up at around 6-8 seconds worth of stun. Using an ability such as the inquisitor's whirlwind will bring the grey meter to full even though it is an 8 second mezz with 2 seconds of true stun. When the Whirlwind ability is talented for the extra 2 seconds of stun after it breaks, one whirlwind ability will create a full white bar from nothing. The reason for this: The initial 2 seconds of true stun count as nearly half a resolve bar. The additional Mezz counts for the remaining bar even though it may not last the full period. And the talented 2 seconds extra will pop the full bar and bring it to white. In most cases, two 3 second stuns will create a full white bar. Though two 2 second stuns will create a (2/3) grey bar requiring a third stun to pop resolve. This is where most players get confused and assume that resolve isn't working. It is important to note: ALL STUNS ARE NOT THE SAME. When you understand this, you can begin to recognize which stuns will pop your resolve and which stuns will hurt very little to sit through the duration. In SWTOR, roots = snares. The sniper leg shot along with the warrior charge are both 100% snares, effectively stopping a player in their tracks. These abilities are unaffected by resolve on purpose and can also be cancelled by abilities such as the Assassin's talented force speed ability, or any CC break/immunity (such as the Juggernaut's charge cc immunity).
  18. I was 9 when it came out. I've seen Episode I easily 100 times. I'm going tonight!
