  1. There is freedom of choice. You want to play solo with only solo queue players without groups? Go solo ranked.

    Ganker's Haven

This is so much true. Because ganking is attacking someone with much bigger number of players or attacking some low level who can't defend himself. Both things are not applies in warzones as you have them always same numbers and thanks to bolster you can have almost same stats as anyone else if you pay any attention to that mechanic. So no, it doesn't apply in warzones because its impossible.
  3. Oh ok I missed some BGs I was taking it from WoW wiki so might not be so accurate. Btw, WoW has arenas as well. Not in the same queue but thats just Biowares thing that they didn't make is separate yet which I would gladly support. So no, Equivalent is really 4 since arenas don't pop up at all as often as warzones. At least not to me. And even in arenas its easy to beat bad premade or lose to good pug.
  4. WoW BG's are one for 10v10, one for 15v15 and one for 40v40. As you can see they limited the number of premade players to exactly half of theirs smallest battleground. Same as here. They didn't make specifically special number for 10v10 and another for 15v15. So if it works for WoW and Blizzard has the metrics as you pointed out so much they should know that half is ok.

    Operative DPS OP!

Oh that Underdog buff seems crazy. Bad players won't like facing scrapper scoundrel. Even noob like me can now almost kill an healing operative alone if he doesn't have guard doesn't use or doesn't have cd on cc breaker. I think I use standard chain of skills (maybe not ) Flechete round - shoot first - sabotage charge - dirty kick - flechete round - back blast - tendon blast - blaster whip - punches (as many as I can, sometimes with pugnacity too) - quick shot. It hurst now, after those punches having 30% bigger crit? I don't complain against smashers anymore.
  6. Yes, blah blah blah. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Confirmation_bias - that is what you do. We are dealing here with anti-premade believer, nothing more. I hope you don't play on ToFN server.
  7. Wow man I thought you'd understand the article but hey understanding of the text is not taught everywhere, is it. They so obviously talk about full premade vs pugs (that I was even able to quote it twice from two short articles) which is big difference from half premade half pug. Well, I thought you are smart guy who can admit defeat, I was wrong. You are in denial sir and you'll never get better in PvP this way. Maybe you should try to check the link in my signature, its a topic I made for guides. Check some of them it might help you to become worthy opponent. EDIT: You don't simplify it for me btw, but for yourself so it meets your requirement - an excuse why I lose.
  8. You can always make another guild or check the Fight Club http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=698925&highlight=fight+club
  9. Have you also noticed that when you click on link in your link it says this? No automated PvP queuing for groups greater than 5 people In this game its 4 tops. Also it says this ... a full, organized Battleground group.. and All premade vs. PuG. Notice the word FULL and ALL in there. I don't see half premade being an issue there. Actually 5 people is half of 10 which is WoW battleground full team. So Bioware probably learned from the same article you are posting here because they made it the same way, full warzone is 8 people and 4 is half, tough math I know. I'm against syncing two 4 premades groups for warzones. That is clearly a big advantage and unfair. I have seen it myself once only. I'm not masochistic I simply like a challenge and to get better in PvP, which you can do mostly by facing better players and hence learning from your mistake. I'm playing PvP in different games for around 15 years on and off so kinda 10 might be more accurate. I know what PvP takes and that dying is part of it. My PvP motto is "I'm ready to die." and it works perfectly for learning how to PvP. Seriously man, read the link. P.S. I agree that there could be some dailies for ranked warzones or allowed to complete dailies there. And please stop manipulation by posting link
  10. Please more talking about things we don't know about yet.
  11. Ok you make a scoundrel or shadow and go play it without stealth. Good luck with that.
  12. You see when all those anti-premade guys send premades to ranked or to new queue, why they don't just queue for solo ranked after they get augmented conqueror? Problem solved. Small group of bad premades? Oh yeah because most guilds today who enter PvP are PvP pros, right? Oh wait, thats not true. You can't seriously compare hack to a premade. But funny story on these forums is that noone yet was able to answer me how come I don't play premades very often, in fact I usually go solo queue in both regular and ranked wz and sometimes I get smashed. Especially by Drama, Jen'kaar, Ministry etc. premades - you know, those from really good guilds who know theirs PvP play so even if you'd met these players in a pug from different guilds together you'd still lose. But sometimes we beat them. In ranked wz there are people syncing for solo queue so you have 2 or 3 man premades but yet, I don't complain about premades as a solo queue guy I even encourage Bioware to make ranked possible to join in 2 or 3 man premade so more people would join. So how come as a solo queue guy in both kinds of PvP I still want premades to be able to queue with us? Will you be the first guy with actual balls to answer that mysterious question or you "bush" out like the rest did? P.S. Its also different issue from server to server. At least some claim that being the truth.
  13. I was complaining about this too, hell I even made a topic in suggestion part of forum. BUT! All this time I was on PvP forum I wouldn't probably moderate is anyway if I think of it. Many people here don't follow the basic rule - check for similar topic already made and post there. Some people just felt it would be better to spam topics instead of arguing in one. What moderator would want to merge 20 topics to one and still see new topics on the same issue being made like we see here.
  14. Hey I totally get you man I've got same experience with some players as well. Sometimes I get so upset I'd like to find em with a shotgun. But I never give up in warzones and since there is no way how to ignore those "FU noob" guys because ignore doesn't work in PvP I at least try to give some advice in ops chat. Even if one of those guys would read one topic, its an improvement.
  15. Well I'm not a pro myself so noxxic was the first guide which I looked at since google spits it first under "swtor guide". I'd say it is better than nothing since I found other websites with even more weird builds and usualy very old stuff. People at least can find some builds and to me it ment that I thought about builds I have I tried the noxxic build and now I have my own slightly different from the first one. But if more people will complain about it I'll remove it since already two people said it is bad stuff. And as Cycao said I take it as very basic build "guide" which is just to show you some options. I'm not fan of just copying a build and going with it without thinking about why you have that build. Btw Lotharofxev if you know some better website I'd really appreciate if you could post a link here.
  16. Oh yeah I'd love ignore to work in PvP as well. And people don't understand that those bad premades wouldn't have a chance against good premades either, it would be the same as it is now, just in premades queue. There would still be sync premades in solo queue like are now in ranked arenas solo queue, there would still be people who understand teamplay and would beat baddies every time. But hey, those bads will find any excuse just to make theirs ego happy, because it never is them who sucks, its always others who do something evil and unfair that makes them lose.
  17. Well what you say is just to give up, since I don't do it in PvP either I don't want to do it in this. I noticed in warzones that sometimes if you try to give advice to the team or suggest a strategy sometimes ppl just try harder after that even if they don't listen to your suggestion they get theirs own or try something else. Sure, sometimes they don't care at all and they ignore you, but sometimes not. Giving up won't bring any help, trying to somehow help those players to get better might. They think those who beat them are "cheating" somehow and not just better, but those better players (some of them) think that those bads will be just bads. But everyone was a badie one day.
  18. Howdy forum dwellers, there is a lot of people sick of this "premades ruin my fun" thing going on. I was asking myself how we could help it? Well I think that guides are only way to improve this issue. If those people won't choose to read those guides and will keep whining about premades, let them, its theirs fault they don't do anything to get better and expecting to beat people who are getting better and better is impossible task for those who don't. Maybe one day they'll get it. Hopefuly there will be those who will read some guides and get better. So I encourage everyone to post guides you know on these forums, twitch, youtube or anywhere else. Of course try to check if those guides are not posted here yet. I know a few so there they are: http://www.noxxic.com/swtor - can give you some example of what stats you should aim for, equipment or talent trees, also you can find there something about UI, binds etc. - some people find this website not so accurate and with bad information so take it lightly, it should server only as an example of possible specs or stat priority http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=358815 - ** New Player's Guide to PvP ** http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=635414&highlight=bolster - Bolster guide http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=54647 - Huttball guide http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=427695&highlight=pvp+guide - Short PvP guide which in my opinion covers the basics only, still good to read for new players or those who complain about premades etc. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=630047&highlight=pvp+guide - Another short basics guide which covers gear, stims, augments, medpacs etc. http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=283474&highlight=pvp+guide - Fun guide called It's not me! It's you! A guide to SWTOR PVP which should be read mainly by those who think its others who are the issue in PvP and not themselfs or those who like funny topics For class guides I've found http://www.ezpvper.com/ which has guides on youtube on channel VulgarBroadcasting. Might have same issue as noxxic and it is not so accurate since it is for patch 2.4. Also they don't have guides for all classes. There are some other class guides I've found on forums here and seemed interesting to me: http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=682467&highlight=pvp+guide - Kev's PVP Tanking Guide http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=647540&highlight=pvp+guide - Vigiliance Guradian / Vengeance Jugg PVP Spec, Rotation and Gear Guide http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=390843&highlight=pvp+guide - Sang's Operative PvP Healing Guide http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=695170 - Megapt's Advanced Prototype PvP Guide - Multiple Rotations, CD Management, different Gearing Setup http://www.swtor.com/community/showthread.php?t=701510&highlight=pvp+guide - Koozie's Powertech PvP Pyrotech Guide Also note that guides are usualy for older patches so don't take everything as it is there are some things that might be changed more or less these days. P.S. Don't forget that all classes have mirror classes on other side. You would just have to figure out which skills are which with your mirror class. http://swtor.wikia.com/ or http://www.torhead.com might be of help with that. Also if you guys know any better guides / websites don't by shy and post them here.
  19. No it wasn't cause your post perfectly sums up "pros" in warzones.
  20. LOL at this. I just was in warzone where one healer (Dupernallen his nickname)died at mid, said we sux we are going to lose because noone is defending him and we should be helping him. So he and his tank friend (yes he had a tank who guarded him and still whined that he wasn't defended) just went to sit on one node to the end of the match. And was only saying its useless we sux, no teamplay etc. Awesome people like that on repulic ToFN side.
  21. I believe pubs get better till that would happen because there are people who won't reroll. Or if it will be that bad I might just reroll to. I just made harsh example of your idea in real world - you simply can't punish everyone because some people do what you don't like. Thanks that you find it LOL as well.
  22. Bads are bads and PvP players are just frustrated so they join one faction in time. That is what it seems to be on ToFN at least a bit.
  23. You noticed how many people (solo queuers) said NO to this? So far it hasn't get many yes votes. Three cap stomping is damn rare and two pylon 0 for enemy points hypergates happened twice to me, both times pugs on both sides. Why you want to make queue in non-ranked longer? If you anti-premade guys would try to make premades happy by supporting more possible groups to premade in ranked, like 2 or 3 member groups (since even solo queue they sync it up anyway, especially with this low population) it might also help you. Both groups might benefit from that. But hey, you got beaten by some better players so you can't take it. 1st rule of PvP, can't take defeat? Go PvE. How do you think those good guys got so good, they died over and over for many and many games till they got better and better and now they are "stomping" you because of theirs skill. P.S. How many games you play weekly and how many "stomp premades" you meet there? Might be fun to see that statistic or a video as proof.
  24. From my experience people who top charts usualy don't follow so much objectives. Like a team where from 5 top damage is 4 from my team yet we lose. We had a top healer too and even top tank. Yet noone was interrupting noone was capping. People often try to top the charts by braindead healing or dpsing and just farm medals so they feel like they did the best. I get it, when you defend a node a noone comes, you don't have so much medals usualy as those who spam healing or dps so you don't get MVP so often. When you cap enemy pylon on hypergate, also not so many points as braindead dps or healing. Warzones are not about medal farming, but about objectives. I'm not saying you in particular are not doing your job in warzone, but as I said, from my experience people who top usualy don't do much about it. Like a guy I met who told me that I sux since I tried to cap snow and defend grass in the same time as my whole team was on mid, unable to cap it. Ofc we lost, than he told me that obviously my damage was low so I'm biggest noob he's met and he put me in ignore. He was second in damage, but hey, who cares, we lost.
