Any game with Daniel Erickson as a lead Dev, hell no. This guy is completely out of touch with his player base and current state of the game. BW, so long old friend. EA, you still suck. Erickson, you are a joke.

I was an Alpha tester for AO and I still have the original CD. Secret World looks like AO2 to me and I will definitely be cautious. Back in the Alpha testing they thought my idea of adding fallen trees, foilage etc was epically creative... I /facepalmed. True story.

I gave up on the CoD series as soon as they started porting the console game over to the PC instead of making a PC version. Then they axed dedicated servers and player made maps the way ToR did to Illum.... Vote with your $$$, it is the only thing they understand.

ToR feels like a single player game on my server. I was scrolling through the list of servers game wide and 90% of them seem to be headed down the same path as mine - dying. Yes, even the PvE servers are dying, wonder why.....

If you think there is 1.3 million subs RIGHT NOW in NA, you are on some serious stuff....

Raided in vanilla WoW. It got stale and I will not do it again. Call me casual, but I don't log in to work a 2nd job, I want to have fun and raiding is not for me.

They looked at WoW's business/game model and said "Hey, we can milk millions of subs and all we need to do is teired grind-a-thon content!!!" Hell, they even gave you companions you need to gear out now instead of just your own set(s). Everything they have implemented is all about "GRINDING" because it worked for WoW.

Umm, no you won't unless you want to pay for it. The 'FREE' transfers will be off of dead servers to a select few most likely. Those select few will not be heavy populated. I tried rerolling on Fatman and gave up when I saw 45min Q times, screw that. My character is still stuck at lvl 6.

AC, now those were the days!! Now we get stale MMO title after MMO title of grind-a-thon. Notice how the MMO community went to crap as the need for repetitive gear grinding got worse?

Why do you think BW/EA gave up a free month? You and I both know the sole purpose was to pad the numbers until Q2-Q3 numbers are released. I would bet they lost 1/2 of their subs from initial sales numbers. In a month and 1/2 you will be asking: "Why did everyone go to GW2 and not stay here??" Give ya a hint, it has NOTHING to do with VO's.. If VO's were game defining I would stick with single player games.......oops

EA controls the cash flow. From that, you can bet yer *** they have the final say in ANY design parameters, period. BW, pulled a Sigil Games and misappropriated their start up cash, EA moves in to save the day.

Server transfers are not going to improve the situation unless they only allow a few (2-3)servers as the transfer location and those would have to be available to ALL servers.

Keep telling yourself that......... Many people cancel their subs when they become involved in another game. Why pay a sub when you don't play? I am going to GW2 and I canceled my sub, am I a minority for doing so? I highly doubt it.

PvP, period. And yes, you can do whatever you want, anytime you want; non-linear = sandbox. Linear = ToR leveling. Sorry you couldn't handle it. If I want a gear gear grind while I wait for GW2 I will go play Rift.

Let me define "Crap" for you.....Games that went under fast, or had failed launches. I am happy you Enjoy ToR, I don't enjoy chasing carrots in space. If I enjoyed WoW's version of an MMO I would still be playing that and wouldn't of bought ToR. I, like many, bought Tor because of the trademark name, but I am disappointed in their delivery. I will be back to playing mortal online, and a little bit of Rift until GW2 releases, peace. ToR will look like Horizons in 6 months.

I made the mistake of choosing that as my main server when I first started too. I rerolled to a more populated server and now that server is on the decline. I am guessing people are just bored with the game. How can they expect them not to be bored considering this game is a direct clone of another grind-a-thon game that was out 10yrs ago..........
